The Cut Bar, located on the ground level offers live music on the weekends, happy hour daily and a rotating burger menu with beverage pairing suggestions.
The second level features a deco-designed main dining room serving dinner and tableside experiences like our signature “Smoked Old Fashioned” or Tableside 40oz. Porterhouse Flambe. This level also offers two private event rooms, “The Social Table,” and “The Morrison Room,” accommodating both intimate and larger-scale events. Our third level, recently named a “hidden gem” of Atlanta, features a rooftop bar called The Regent Cocktail Club. This rooftop oasis is open year-round, offering craft cocktails, small plates, live music and DJs.
It was not my first time but always superb experience and service!
Service was excellent!
Atmosphere was very nice and romantic... the food was not up to expectations for the price.
It was just average. Noting special at all. For the price point, there is much better quality steak houses.
Amazing food and fantastic service! Can’t wait to go back!
Not our first visit and always enjoy the part of town and the restaurant itself ambiance. The Hostess was very friendly and hospitable. As for food; The everything biscuits were excellent, we shared an Appetizer - CRAB COCKTAIL, second course we chose MARYLAND CRAB CAKE & MARKET GREENS salad, Entrees FILET MIGNON ‘SCAMPI’ & SEARED BLACK BASS (out of black bass but grouper was awesome). Timing of each course and the entree was perfect, Everything we ate was cooked perfectly. However, as a frequenter of many restaurants in Baltimore, the crab cake is not like a Maryland crab-cake. It was just OK. That being said I have been called a crab cake snob a time or two before. The Valet manager was also very friendly and we shared a laugh or two while our car was brought around. A very nice evening and very good value for the dollars paid. When I see reviews that are to the contrary about fine dining restaurants, I often wonder did that person truly have a bad experience, or simply shocked at the price and was more than they could afford to spend on a single dinner / evening? Perhaps a less expensive restaurant is a better place to go. We will be back to American Cut again both in ATL and NY.
We loved our dinner and our server was amazing.
However, shortly after we left 3 of us got sick and when I called the restaurant to let them know they didn’t respond for 24 hours and then didn’t really seemed concerned.
We ate here for our 1st wedding anniversary. They treated us with a welcome glass of champagne and made us feel extra special! The food and ambience was absolutely perfect! We will definately be back!
Great service, very good food.
I expected a better steak than what I got. It certainly wasn’t prime. Also was disappointed by soggy fries. Next time I go to a chain so that I know what I am getting.
The food was just ok. The drinks were inconsistent between the restaurant and rooftop bar. Great service and great ambiance.
They took excellent care of us and helped to make our friend’s birthday celebration a special one.
I typically love American Cut but our server on this occasion was really slow (we were there 1.5 hrs and got an order of oysters and champagne), inattentive, and nonchalant when we followed up. Luckily Chris (another server) and the manager (I believe his name was Alex) addressed the issue for us but that’s why I gave such a low service rating.
Everything was superb. Great recommendations and even better service from Natalie. I ordered the delicious NY strip with Mac n cheese and sweet potato mash. I was celebrating a friends birthday and the entire staff made us feel special. Will definitely be back
Amazing service, but the food was just ok. It was a good steak, but I wanted a great steak.
This is my second time back to American Cut and it did not disappoint. We went back for the Old Fashioneds prepared table side. Our filets were cooked perfectly, the Tomahawk was tasty (the red wine sauce... OMG) and table side preparation was an entertaining touch. The Caesar salad was delicious as well as the market salad. We also had the shrimp cocktail, twice baked potatoes, and french fries which were all delicious! Service was fantastic. Thank you for a great time!
One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The rooftop bar is also fantastic, with great live music. Definitely one of my new favorite places.
Every time I come here, I leave so impressed with the service level and food quality. Consistently excellent dining experience. You must order: crab cake appetizer, filet + foie gras and the smoky old fashioned!
Food just okay, nothing that stood out. The service was excellent, our waitress was ever attentive.
The tomahawk steak was amazing. But the lobster wasn’t enjoyable as I expected it to be. Way to much rosemary that took away from the taste. Also the oysters was amazing but over priced. $22 for 5 oysters is a bit ridiculous but they were good.
I typically do not offer reviews- I am out dinner 4 of 7 nights a week as a frequent. This place- placed my wife and I behind column next to service station- couldn't accommodate changing tables- do to other reservations- apparently. Poor start- then a flood of restaurant persons using the service station causing just the worst atmosphere.
If your a party of 6 or more- you will get waited on- any less than that, this place is not about service - at all. Quality of food is not relevant- when your seated as poorly as we were.
Disappointed- would not recommend
American Cut never disappoints! Incredible service by all staff, especially Josh and Ryan. Food was incredible, as always.
The table we sat at was made for kids...small and stuck in the corner. No one should be sat there. Very uncomfortable.
Restaurant was almost empty Tuesday night but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.
Great service, great table. Loved it
Best steak in town, and I have eaten at the more noteworthy steakhouses. Appetizers, sides, and wine selection were over the top!
It’s over rated and over priced food wasn’t even good. I ordered a $115 steak it was terrible
For the quality and price, I would definitely pick other steakhouse over American Cut any day. The filet was cooked nicely, but I felt like the meat was older, and the shrimp I got with it were very fishy, maybe they were frozen. I had to use tobasco sauce to mask the fishy taste from the garlic butter and shrimp they poured on top of the steak. The sides were ok, nothing amazing, I had the mac n cheese and the creamed spinach. They definitely use a warmer to melt cheese on top of those items. Not a big fan of warmers in high end restaurants, because we are paying for the quality and service not shortcuts and frozen meals to be warmed up.
The food was amazing!
Went a few days ago with friends. Nice ambiance and even better food. Our sever Natalie was extremely hospitable and very knowledgeable. The manager Adriano also stopped by and helped us select a nice bottle to go along with our dinner. Overall a fantastic experience.
We dined there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary but we were extremely disappointed. Although our waiter was pleasant, our steaks were extremely charred, burnt, and improperly cooked. Likewise, we were rarely attended to. They ended up comping my meal because my steak was inedible. We felt robbed of our special occasion. Although they comped my meal, I left the steakhouse hungry. Too expensive for this type of service and food.
This dinner was my worst nightmare. We just experienced the worst service that we have had in a long time. McDonald’s offers more prompt or attentive service. We repeatedly had to ask for drinks. The only silver lining was the good food. So if you want good food with horrible service, then make a reservation - you’re in good hands. And the managers are deplorable. When we brought issues to their attention, the response was “I completely understand” before wandering off. My best advice is to make a reservation at Little Alley Steak or Bones. Don’t waste your time here.
The service and food is outstanding. Expect to spend but it's well worth it!
Great experience with the waiter. My apologies, name escapes me. A few smoked old fashions that night.
Excellent time. Lady friend, never been there before. Throughly enjoyed the experience.
American Cut is my go to spot, even if I need be solo on an occasion.
Prices are high but food is good
Food pretty good. We wanted to order an appetizer before our main order and the waiter said they only take orders all at once. Never heard that at a high end restaurant before...so we skipped the app and just ordered our meal. All that did was decrease the tab so the waiter decreased the tip amount. Doesn’t make sense and is an awkward policy. Food was good though.
Awesome food and service. A bit pricey, but normal for this level of steakhouse
The server was a little slow at responding to us, but overall still a good experience.
