The food was surprisingly amazing. I expected the same old steak, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Tomahawk steak and chili lobster. AMAZING!!!
Service was the best and the ambiance was marvelous! The food was just ok, considering the price. The rooftop is the greatest!
Wanted to bring my friend for her birthday. I love American Cut but this time around the experience was bad and I felt bad because it was her birthday.
Birthday and new Job
Always a great experience with food and service. Our server Lindon is exceptional with his professionallism and personality. The steaks are excellent as is the Branzino.
The food was amazing. Given that it is in Buckhead, the standard is already high. With Chops down the street and Atlas in the St. Regis, American Cut had to find it's niche. I believe they did. A more than exquisite dining experience which can be followed by a nightlife scene that other restaurants do not offer. As a patron who was there for the food and does not consume alcohol, I would give the restaurant raving reviews and a personal guarantee that I will be back. I would suggest the bacon app and the Foie Gras addition to everyone. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. Thank you,
Enjoyed a very creative appetizer, Chili Lobster. A small 4oz tail cut into sections on a spicy base with buttered thick toast points. A bit pricey but tasty.
We were at a steakhouse and they were out of half the steak menu.
Delicious and quiet, friendly professional staff, expensive dinner, yet it’s great for steaks and celebrations.
Great restaurant. Great food. And amazing service.
From stepping into the restaurant, we were treated like royalty. We were celebrating a little birthday but in town visiting friends as well and the GM made sure we enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Upon entering, we were escorted to the lounge to be celebrated with a champagne toast while we waiting for the rest of our party. Then we were guided upstairs to our table where the ambiance was as captivating as the rest of the experience - our shareables, entrees and dessert were phenomenal. Even ended with a shot to cheers our lovely time! 12/10 recommend
There are so many great steak restaurants in Atlanta. The food compared to competitors is mediocre at best. The ambiance and service was outstanding.
Our anniversary. Staff was amazing but the food was SPECTACULAR!!
Had a wonderful time and the service was awesome! The ambiance and great food made for a memorable evening.
Great experience. We ate at American Cut in New York; this was as good.
Terrible food steak was wrong temperature twice
Wine list is way over priced
To add insult to injury valet parking is $10 with no validation
Chops across the street is a better experience
Service was great! Unfortunately, the tomahawk ribeye was not very good. The meat was undercooked, lacked flavor and tough. Over-priced for the quality of the food and overall experience.
The food is fantastic, the wine list is deep and the service is spot on!
Service was good but my server smelled like cigarettes which was off putting.
Awesome in every way!
I loved it, I would definitely go again when I want to be wined & dined
Great Steak and service
The overall experienced absolutely was frustrating! Why? The valet service just killed the experience from juggling cars and screwing up for many customers. I waited 40 minutes for my car and then after approaching to inquire, he only then called for the car which took another 25 minutes. Unacceptable.
The restaurant was extremely loud made it challenging to enjoy our meal. We were not offered any rolls and the food came and the highlight was the mushrooms. Not a cheap meal was hoping for better.
Excellent food, attentive staff and great dining experience.
It was not my first time but always superb experience and service!
Service was excellent!
Atmosphere was very nice and romantic... the food was not up to expectations for the price.
Amazing food and fantastic service! Can’t wait to go back!
It was just average. Noting special at all. For the price point, there is much better quality steak houses.
Not our first visit and always enjoy the part of town and the restaurant itself ambiance. The Hostess was very friendly and hospitable. As for food; The everything biscuits were excellent, we shared an Appetizer - CRAB COCKTAIL, second course we chose MARYLAND CRAB CAKE & MARKET GREENS salad, Entrees FILET MIGNON ‘SCAMPI’ & SEARED BLACK BASS (out of black bass but grouper was awesome). Timing of each course and the entree was perfect, Everything we ate was cooked perfectly. However, as a frequenter of many restaurants in Baltimore, the crab cake is not like a Maryland crab-cake. It was just OK. That being said I have been called a crab cake snob a time or two before. The Valet manager was also very friendly and we shared a laugh or two while our car was brought around. A very nice evening and very good value for the dollars paid. When I see reviews that are to the contrary about fine dining restaurants, I often wonder did that person truly have a bad experience, or simply shocked at the price and was more than they could afford to spend on a single dinner / evening? Perhaps a less expensive restaurant is a better place to go. We will be back to American Cut again both in ATL and NY.
We loved our dinner and our server was amazing.
However, shortly after we left 3 of us got sick and when I called the restaurant to let them know they didn’t respond for 24 hours and then didn’t really seemed concerned.
We ate here for our 1st wedding anniversary. They treated us with a welcome glass of champagne and made us feel extra special! The food and ambience was absolutely perfect! We will definately be back!
Great service, very good food.
I expected a better steak than what I got. It certainly wasn’t prime. Also was disappointed by soggy fries. Next time I go to a chain so that I know what I am getting.
The food was just ok. The drinks were inconsistent between the restaurant and rooftop bar. Great service and great ambiance.
They took excellent care of us and helped to make our friend’s birthday celebration a special one.
I typically love American Cut but our server on this occasion was really slow (we were there 1.5 hrs and got an order of oysters and champagne), inattentive, and nonchalant when we followed up. Luckily Chris (another server) and the manager (I believe his name was Alex) addressed the issue for us but that’s why I gave such a low service rating.
