North Vancouver has quietly amassed an amazing collection of Greek restaurants--Anatoli is one of them. The location is amazing, and if it's Friday night its next to the Shipyards Night Market. A reservation is recommended, as is the lamb souvlaki.
Been a favourite for years. We've been coming to Anatoli's for as far back as I can remember. 30 years later, it still delivers good service and quality food.
Great food, great service. Avoid sitting on the bench seating on the lower level though! Back killer!
Fabulous as always! It’s just as good as it was 3 decades ago.
We enjoyed the location, energy and food. We felt the prices were high for the souvlaki, especially with the upcharge for no potatoes or rice, with very little additional salad.
No complaints about the food and the service but it was so incredibly loud, we could not carry a conversation. We decided to eat quickly and head to a quieter place so we could catch up.
Had a lovely dinner with friends. Shared a couple appies and each ordered our own entrees. It was all very yummy !! No complaints
Very tasty Greek cuisine. Salmon chowder was disappointing, but othrwise great.
Great time celebrating my friends birthday. Service was great. Food was good and didn’t have to wait too long for it!
Food was just so so, I was expecting more. I would come back again for lunch , but it wasn't what I was expecting for a Birthday dinner - Lamb chops were tough and fatty, others enjoyed their meals but no one was raving about the food. Fun atmosphere and great location
Amazing food, amazing service, romantic ambience, and wonderful band! So impressed :)
Love this place although a trip for me but definitely worth it!
Celebrated my birthday here again this year and it was fantastic as always. The server wasn't great to be honest and she forgot to punch in one of my friend's meals, but the owners took care of things and it was a great time overall. Fantastic food and the belly dancer is always a treat!
Always have very great food. Excellent ambience and service. Will be back.
Food was ok. Our kalamari was oily. Lamb and chicken were good. Our service was horrible. Food and drinks kept going to wrong table. Waitress ignored us all night. Kept having to get other waitresses to bring us things such as napkins and refills. Nice place but wouldnt recommend based on service.
The Food was below par calamari should not be soggy. The portions were small for the price. The baklava was hard as a rock I had to cut it with a knife. The service was slow and also forgetful. I can understand the service if it was busy although there may have been maybe 10 people in there. I went due to the high reviews and I would not go back
We had a very pleasant dining experience. The service was excellent.
The food was fresh and very tasty.
Anatoli is one of the many jewels of the North Shore. Located right by the Seabus terminal, is a perfect place for a group of friends or for a romantic date. The food is superb and the service is impeccable. My favorite summer activity is to sip a Caesar on the patio watching the live around.
A safe bet on the shore.
But.. where is the Seven seas?
It took us a while to get acknowledged and seated regardless of my reservation.
I really liked the place and the food!
Phillip, our server, was very friendly and attentive and the Mezze platter was superb. One small complaint, however, was that we requested a table near the fire and we were stuck at a small table overlooking the washrooms. We were eventually moved to the window at the front which was a nice compromise. Thanks.
Very nice evening, the roast lamb dinner was excellent! They say slow cooked for 5 hours, it was very tender, fell off the bone. Service was fast, efficient and friendly.
By far my favourite go-to Greek restaurant. The atmosphere is homey and the portion size is huge. The quality of food is amazing and it’s such a fun environment.
This restaurant serves great food. The servings are very large. The service is really good and friendly.
There is an outdoor patio which is great in spring and summer. The souvlaki is delicious.
Great atmosphere food and service. A favorite for 25 years....
Great food, excellent service...we arrived at a busy time and it was very noisy...as the time wore on, the noise lessened as the crowd thinned. We were not deterred by the noise as we have eaten here before and always enjoy our meal.
I had gone to this restaurant for many years. It provides decent satisfactory middle-of-the road Greek. The pricing has gone up dramatically with Lower Lonsdale redevelopment. Wine: $9 for a glass of Boutari is ridiculous.
My salmon kebab was tasty and moist. Friendly, fast service and enjoyable ambiance.
Delicious! I really enjoy the ambiance and great service.
Grilled caprese and lamb roast with rice was out of this world delicious!!
As usual the food, server, service was excellent. I live downtown but I am always looking for an excuse or occasion to go there.
We went for Thanksgiving. There was a big private party. They were noisy and you couldn’t get near a bathroom. I wish that we knew that they were having a party when we booked. Also the apples were good but the moussaka was bland and tasteless
Quite expensive for the value. Servers were quick on their feet, we were greeted immediately.
Anatoli's never disappoints. The food is always consistently fantastic.
Fantastic service. Authentic. Great music and lower lonsdale scene. Great traditional Greek food. Need to get a little more creative with the menu to set them apart from other Greek restaurants. Need an interesting twist on a traditional dish then call it fusion. Change it up seasonally.
I recommend that a waiter ask a customer ordering a souflaki dinner how the meat should be cooked: rare, medium or well done. Although the taste was there, all three were overcooked and dry. The service was very attentive and friendly and our table inside was right by the window.
Nice and friendly ambiance, good food, a true and tried treasure in LoLo.
Everything is delicious. Try the lamb. The Greek salad is authentic with plenty of Feta. Do NOT sit in the section served by the extremely loud and rude waitress. She has short dark blonde hair with tattoos on her upper arms. She spilled water all over our table. We had to ask her to clean it up to which she replied, its only water. She was so upsetting that we had to switch sections
Love this place!!
