    Great Anchor Bar chicken wings in this Niagara Falls, New York location. The restaurant is easy to find with very good parking. Service is very good. We find on the expensive side.

    We had gone to the Anchor Bar after being recommended by a friend. When we went in, they us that there were no booths available, but there were a few clean and empty booths. We were not anticipating paying $17.99 for what looked like boneless Buffalo chicken nuggets. Generally when you order boneless buffalo wings from any other bar, they are more meat for the money. Also, we had asked for the medium sauce which was more like super mild. All in all, just not worth the money.

    We weren’t in a hurry so the wait time at the table didn’t really bother us, but it took over an hour to get a burger, chicken strips and a kids meal.

    The garlic Parm wings smelled like rotting cheese. I was so ready to be impressed, but my expectations were far too high for this wing joint. The sandwich they called the weck, what wecking joke!

    Visiting Niagara Falls and wanted dinner near our hotel. Tried to eat there the night before but was told that there was a shortage of kitchen staff so the wait would be at least an hour. Made a reservation for the next night and got right in with no wait. Decent food, nice waitress, just an ok meal. Was ideal for us that evening because of its proximity to our hotel.

    Our reservation was at 6:45. We were there early and were seated about 6:30. Our waitress came over and got our drink order. The items from the bar took about 15 minutes but the other drinks came quickly. My mudslide tasted like frozen milk - no real taste. We ordered our food just before the bar drinks came and we waited….and waited…and waited. Our waitress let us know that the kitchen was backed up which we figured meant 15-20 minutes. One appetizer came out about 45 minutes after we ordered. Then more waiting. Some of our other food came out about 25 minutes after that. My order still hadn’t come out (I ordered queso, chips and fries). My husbands wings were barely warm. My sons boneless wings looked charred and burnt. They were luke warm. My daughters mac n cheese was barely warm but we’d been sitting for over an hour so she scarfed it down. When the waitress told me my order was going to be a bit longer, I told her to cancel the order as I was no longer hungry and just wanted to get home. The waitress was very nice and completely overwhelmed. The manager came and spoke to us, he apologized for the disaster and took the majority of our orders off the bill. They gave the kids free dessert to go as well. We were seated at 6:30 and didn’t leave until after 8…without eating (aside from my daughter). Not the best experience but the staff was great

    Was there for 2 hours, it took our waitress almost 15mins to come to our table for a drink order. Finally was able to order food, it took almost 45 mins to come out and when it did an order was completely forgot.

    Its was not busy at all yet the food too anoit 30 mins to come out. Waited forever for a beer too. The wings were ok and the loaded fries were cold. Our waitress was very sweet and we were with dear friends of ours which was the best parts of our visit.

    We made a reservation and enter the place at 7:15. We had to ask for the server after 10 mins. We ordered food with beer, the beer came out quickly but we got the food at 8:45. After more than an hour. We had to order additional wings to take out, but that also took another 40 minutes. We left the place around 10 pm. We sat nearby the entrance and could see people were waiting for their take-out as well. If you have plenty of time, go for it, but if you are not, should consider other options.

    Food was great when it finally arrived Kitchen was super slow Took almost 75 minutes to get 20 wings Gave up on the rest of the food 2nd time at Anchor Bar with the same experience As the creator of the wing they had way too many other options on the menu Why not just do what your known for a do it great and fast?

    We appreciate that there is a shortage of staff, but we waited 30mins for our beverage order to be taken and another 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We were never offered refills or additional drinks from the first. Our waitress wouldn’t take our order until the drinks arrived, so it was 2+hours from sitting before we received our food. On a Monday night. Several patrons at the bar that weren’t there when we arrived received their food before us. It wasn’t very busy, just severely understaffed and they didn’t adjust the intake of those they were willing to sit at tables. Our waitress didn’t acknowledge the wait and came to our table a total of four times including delivering the bill, which was incorrect and had the tip pre-populated. We tried speaking to a manager with no success.

    All you can eat buffet was delicious. Everything was themed wonderfully for Breakfast with Santa. Service was great and my baby really enjoyed seeing Santa
