   Experience was much better than last time I was there, which was about 10yrs ago. Much quieter, so one could have a conversation without having to scream. Food and service was great. We'd definitely be back!

   My coworker and her boyfriend were in from out of town (Toronto) - it was my first time meeting them in person, and Anejo was an awesome selection! I’ve been MANY times, and am so glad it lived up to the hype for them. Great ambience, amazing food (the Birria was so SO good), great drinks, and our server was SO lovely! Overall great experience.

   Met a friend for after work margaritas and tacos (drinks and food were very good) and had a lovely time. Anejo's halfy hour is well worth the trip - highly recommend!

    We had an amazing first experience at Anejo, it was my birthday and our server was amazing - she constantly checked in on us and made sure we were happy with our food and drinks. We made the most of happy hour and the cocktails and tacos were great. It was busy for a Tuesday night so it’s clear and people love this place - atmosphere was great

    With out a doubt Anejo is always my favourite trusted night out in Calgary. Food f***ing amazing, cocktails better then the food!!! Staff just good people! Plan was to have a few cocktails, ended up closing down the bar! If you want the best night for margaritas in the city, this is the spot!

    Came here for a girls date night. Ambiance was good. Margaritas were underwhelming. They were ok but considering they specialize in Tequila I expected better. The guac was amazing! Loved the chips. The filling for the tacos was good but the corn tortillas were cold and fell apart. The servers were friendly but they weren’t attentive and had to wait a long time between reordering drinks or food. Overall, I recommend this place for the vibe and the tequila selection but the food is okay. I am Mexican so maybe I am being picky about the food so I would still say to come here as you’ll have a good experience.

    The people around us were celebrating birthday’s and they were very loud but our server was fantastic, good and drinks were on time and whole evening was nice. Food was ok.

    Tables are too small for all the great food and drinks to fit. Got a little too noisy be the end of dinner...felt like we had to yell to be heard. Otherwise...fantastic

    Went there for date night. Our reservation was early and felt the restaurant a little cool, but suspect it is because it gets so warm when it gets busy. Service was very good and helpful, and the food is always enjoyable.

    We had a fantastic dinner. Food was 5* but, the music was very loud and when we asked if it could be turned down no one seemed to care, nothing was done. Our waitress was great but, her shift ended just after we ordered our drinks and the handoff of our table went quite badly. We basically felt like we were every server’s afterthought. After our meal we were just brought the bill, no one asked if we wanted dessert or after dinner drinks. It was just really disappointing as I’d heard amazing things about the place. I would 100% go back but this dinner experience was definitely not a good one.

    Good food, good service! The resto downstairs is very loud, and just slightly less loud upstairs. No verbal recognition of special occasion, just a note left on the table!

    Went for a birthday. Food was awesome, guacamole could’ve used some lime and salt, but was ok. Had all the tacos, and special tacos. All were great! Shrimps were very big and covered in lots of batter. The coconut chilli margarita was on point, strawberry rhubarb one was a little bitter. We had a great time!

    Always a great time at Anejo, our server had us try one of their select reposado tequilas and it was the best recommendation! My friend and I enjoy going for margaritas and chips and salsa whenever we can!

    Food as always was delicious! Service was very fast and efficient! staff was awesome to deal with and we always expect it to be energetic in there. Yesterday it was quiet which was also nice and better for us because the food came out faster!! Will definitely be back!

    Our party of four went to celebrate my birthday at Anejo. We had a great time! The tacos were amazing, the salsa was super tasty, and the margaritas were awesome!! Our server, Angela, was on top of everything and had great suggestions. We’re definitely going back.

    Our server kept suggesting things that you’d think were included in the price of the tacos but weren’t. This wasn’t disclosed upon ordering. Example: we ordered 6 tacos and she asked if we wanted hot sauce with that. It would’ve been nice to know there was a charge rather than imply it was included.
