   The hostess was great. We requested a table change and it was accommodated. The food was delicious as always bit on this visit we had a really crappy server. The only time she cracked a smile was when she brought us the bill which we assumed was bc she wanted a tip. Dismal service. I love the restaurant but in the future if I get this server, I'll ask to be relocated with a different server.

   I went to Anejo for lunch. I enjoy the restaurant atmosphere. It was quiet, where my friends and i were able to have conversations and catch up. The tacos, guacamole, and specialty tacos were okay. I was expecting a little more at a Mexicans restaurant. However, i really enjoyed their margheritas. It was very unique and tasteful.

   Was an amazing experience throughout the night. Shoutout to our server Dave, not only was he attentive but he also provided some of thee best service I’ve had in a while. I’m also recommending this place to friends, family, and coworkers. I can’t wait to come back!

   Once we paid our bill the server took our water away and cleared the table. We were there from 4:30- 6:00. I felt like we were not able to stay anymore. This has never happened before, and we have been there at least 5 times now.

    This place was awesome!!! Asked our server Christine for her menu recommendations and each was a hit… especially the mushroom flautas, the guacamole and chips, and the premium short rib tacos. The margaritas - 6$ during happy hour - has inspired us to make a new year resolution to make a monthly trip to try everything on the menu… sooooo good!!

    I went there to celebrate a friends birthday. The ambiance was nice and noise level was fine. However, the food we order had no flavour. It was hard to find our waiter when we wanted to order dessert and to get the bill.

    The fish tacos were amazing. The beef was also delicious, But the chicken taco was just OK. The staff were very friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was great! I had a Cesar with the tequila, which was also very good! Would come back.

    Food and service was great. We sat in a corner and found it too dark - couldn't read the menu or see our food well. Also, very noisy - too noisy for friends getting together and catching up.

    Had a really lovely experience here, we had a few apps which were amazing (coconut shrimp and the mussels) and the mains are a generous size. Great ambiance and good service.

    Second time here, fabulous! Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita delicious. Guacamole made at the table, awesome. Chicken and pulled pork tacos scrumptious. If you are a tequila lover,this is the place for you ! Noisy but well worth the visit. Reservations get booked up very fast so you need to plan in advance for this place!

    Completely disappointing, this is an insult to Mexican food. I tried different dishes and non were good, drinks are expensive and are just ice, therefore flavourless. I ordered “Molcajete de carne” and I swear it was just salsa, no meat, there was just a tiny little peace at the bottom being just fat. Their tortillas are full of conservatives, they could at least do some effort on it. As a Mexican I feel insulted and I’d never recommend this place to anyone.

    Anejo occupies the large space that was formerly occupied by Glow. It was completely renovated and is a much livelier venue than what was there before, appealing to a young crowd. The tacos are small and tasty. It is difficult to tell the fillings apart as they are dominated by the taste of cumin powder. The margaritas are small but interesting, offering a large choice of juice-added flavors. There is a surprisingly large number of good choices among restaurants in the Shops at Don Mills, even a fast-food Mexican alternative, and a less specialized place that includes an excellent taco on the menu. Anejo matches some the best restaurants in the immediate area with its enthusiastic servers and interesting decor. The combination of small tacos and small mixed drinks would lead to ordering more than one round (each round would have three tacos and one drink). Most of the tables are high with high chairs. It's not a place to sit back and relax but it is a good place to visit and chat.

    The food was brought fairly quickly. The food is isn’t anything spectacular. Flavours all meld together where it all just tastes the same. It’s over priced and truly not worth having a meal there. The only thing that was ok…but again nothing great was the guac. Our server Grady was pretty good and quite attentive. The ambiance in the restaurant is ok too. Was super excited to try this place out but it sorely disappointed.

    Amazing authentic Mexican food. In a vibe you feel like you are in a Mexican town. Service is really solid and very attentive. Table side guacamole done infront of your eyes. Highly recommend this place!

    I reserved for a party of 6 and then we added another person. The restaurant was able to accommodate another person. They also provided a table in a corner where we could bring a baby. The guacamole was excellent - very fresh. The tortilla soup was hot and very filling. It was excellent too.

    We were hoping for a really authentic Mexican restaurant in the Shops. The food is good but too expensive for what it is. The guac and ceviche were good but otherwise none of the food is very flavourful and unfortunately they don’t make any house salsa or hot sauce besides a mayo. Disappointing for the price. Next time we’ll go to a mom and pop Mexican place for 1/4 of the cost.

    What made this restaurant special for us was the service. Everyone was really friendly and our server was really accommodating. I’ve got food restrictions but my friend wanted to try this restaurant. So our server worked with me to find something that would be yummy without aggravating my tummy. The food came quickly and it was really good. My friend got their margarita kit and the bar tender even came to talk to us about it so she could make a good decision before she purchased. The atmosphere was nice! Overall a good experience!
