    I use to love eating at Añejo but since they changed the menu the tacos are not as good. I was so excited to come since its my favourite taco place and I was disappointed to see they removed a lot of favourites from the menu like the pulled pork taco. The pork taco was dry and lacked flavour and the beef was ok, nothing spectacular. Sad to say i wont be coming back anytime soon.

    Server was great. I don’t usually complain but the drinks were very off. Even the people at the table that were regulars said the margaritas were not tasking right. Almost everyone was extremely tarte/bitter and lacked the desired flavour( I tried 3 different flavours)

    Wonderful ambience, great service, price pretty good for the quality of food. There is a a lot of choices in their menu, we went there for a Birthday all together 8 peoples and we all have enjoyed our evening. I do recommend this restaurent

    The food, the energy and the servers were excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive and it was just amazing overall. Tip for the ladies leave the big bags at home not a lot of space for your bags if you're sitting at the high tables.

    Server and ambience is outstanding. Would love to go back again during happy hour. The birria tacos, tequila shots and mango marg was omg chef kiss. Would highly recommend.

    I've never been a huge fan of the food. The Tacos are often dry and not hot enough, without any toppings included other than hot sauce, so salsas must be ordered separately. But the margaritas are the best I've ever had in Toronto, and the Happy Hour is a fantastically good deal. Great, friendly service and an upbeat atmosphere. I keep taking friends despite the so so food.

    Anejo is by far my favourite spot in the city for an authentic Mexican dish. Chris gave us an excellent and attentive service experience. I highly recommend!

    Place inside is very dark but comfortable seats and clean. Food was served fast but staff service was not friendly, i had low expectations with the food portions for the price, although good taste.

    Meats are dry and greasy at the same time. Don’t know how they managed to achieve this. Service is mediocre. Ambience is fine, but overall not worth the money.

    We love anejo but this time the tacos and soup all came cold. We loved the rib tacos but all the others were cold and not as flavourful as usual….

    When I came to Toronto from Montreal, I was concerned I would miss some of my favourite Mexican joints. Anejo has some of the best vegetarian options and their table made tomato salsa is simply one of my most favourite appetizers .

    I’ve always gone to the Don Mills location and had great experiences but Daniel was our server last night and after leaving, myself and the other guests I was with agreed that he was kind of rude. When asking if we could get more drinks, he weirdly hesitated then eventually said “uhhhh yes..” maybe he wanted us out before happy hour? Luckily for him, gratuity was already included. Maybe that’s the reason the service was not up to par.

    Used to go here a lot, but there was a recent price hike. $30+ for 6 tacos is a bit much. But the food was great, service was fast, and the ambiance was really good.

    The food was super good, especially the shrimp tacos, highly recommend that for seafood lovers ! Drinks were also very good, and the ambiance vibrant and comfortable. Really recommend Anejo for a chill, enjoyable night out !

    Just want to say that our server Jamie was so great! She went into detail providing insight on all the different tequilas and food! I was also running very late for my reservation and they still kept my table which I was super appreciative of since I was really looking forward to eating there. Overall great experience!

    Went for happy hour. The tacos were amazing we tried all the meat ones. They were all really good except the chorizo one, the taste kind of reminded me of the smell of dog food. Other then that it’s very cute in there and everything else was really good especially their guacamole.

    Wonderful dinner. The table side guacamole and my scallop esquites were particular hits - as was the house-made spicy mayo. They need to sell this! Beautiful restaurant, cannot wait to go back.

    Our bartender was a young lady who was super friendly & efficient. I will not say her name in case of too many people coming to see her. Lol. Myself & my "silent partner" enjoyed conversation with her as well as super tasty cocktails & food. The fish tacos are our favorite. I loved the coconut chili margaritas! We will be back soon!

    Añejo probably has the best happy hour deals in the city! $3 delicious classic tacos and $6 margaritas. I’ve probably tried all flavors and my faves are: chorizo taco, fish taco, guava margarita and strawberry & rhubarb margarita. Service is always good as well!

    Love the happy hour menu and prices! They don’t cut the alcohol levels even though it’s cheap. Love their margaritas and tacos! The special watermelon mezcal margarita is just amazing in taste and the mushroom tacos too. Will keep coming back.
