   Friendly staff, explained everything on the menu. Meat quality was very good, worth every penny and the Soju Sangria was amazing! Will definitely be going back again.

   Food was on the pricey side compared to other restaurants in KTown. Flavor was bland as well and rice provided was dried, like it was sitting out for awhile.

   Hello! I really liked the food and all but for some reason the waiter looked either very tired or upset with us because we didn't speak english perfectly...he didn't really explain anything when we said we've never been and appreciated explanations...kinda disappointing.. FOOD IS SO GOOOOOOD

   Delicious and super quick. Can be gluten free friendly. My daughter loved it and she tried things she ordinarily doesn’t try. We will be back. Perfect for meal before or after MSG event

    Found this place on the Michelin guide site with an outstanding review. We must have caught a bad night. Ambience, the room, the tables were great. The kimchi rice was fantastic. Unfortunately, the rest was not great. Bad cut of ribeye, the squid was undercooked and the service was not what I would’ve expected. The waiter seemed very rushed and inattentive. That said he was very nice. The hostess wasn’t helpful at all. I’ll leave this one off the list in the future.

    First, all the food was delish. Nothing was bad. However, my reason for 4 stars is...They need more staff and the staff needs to be better trained. We waited 10-15 minutes from seating to even get our order taken, meaning once we sat down, no one came to our table for 10-15 minutes. Our reservation was at 445, so it wasn't packed. Next, normally in NYC, the KBBQ is cooked for you. Every single meat order, I had to take it off and cut it up myself. The waiter did not ask if I wanted it rare/well done, etc. While that is kinda normal, when you order a $200 Japanese Wagyu, you do not want it well done and slightly overcooked on the outside. Simply put, the waiter wasn't ignoring us, he had too many tables to deal with. And honestly didn't seem to have the right training to understand how long meat should be cooked to take it off and not be over-dry well-done. Otherwise, great place. Needs more staff and more staff training.

    Interessing experience as the korean BBQ is not something I was that familiar with. The food was good, the server managed the meat on the grill for us, so I'm not sure there is an advantage to have it at the center of the table. Multiple sides are served with the preselected sets of meat, not sure if it's the case when you select the meat on the menu (I'm assuming it's the case).

    Marinated short rib was excellent. Service was ok overall but we constantly felt we were being rushed (sat down at 8pm, restaurant was still full). Solid option for a nice Korean BBQ meal, but not out of the ordinary.

    Friend and I got the Assorted Pork Platter for 2. Along with the banchans, it was the perfect amount of food for 2! The servers were attentive even with a full floor of tables. The pork was cooked so well and tenderly. It was a great spot to catch up and the atmosphere was lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time and for us as well. We heard many great things about this place in person and online and it definitely lived up to its hype. The price point is worth the overall experience and food for what we got! Would absolutely come back again and recommend to anyone who wants kbbq.

    Don’t even know where to start on how bad this experience was. My husband and I chose this place to celebrate our anniversary and could not believe how bad it went. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm. We arrived a few minutes early (literally 5 minutes to be exact). The hostess the only pleasant moment about this dining experience since she wished us HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. It was our first time and had no idea how things worked, about 1 minute that we sat down a waitress asked if we were ready to order, of course we weren’t ready so we asked for more time, 2 minutes passed and she came back again we felt pressured and ordered our appetizers (which by the way I will attach a picture of what we ordered and what came to the table) we wanted to order cocktails but since we felt rushed we ended up ordering beer instead. As soon as our main dish came everything was thrown at the table, didn’t know what half of the sides were. My husband and I have been to Korean barbecue before where we order the meet and cook ourselves so we thought this was the same, so it was very strange as we got the meat the waitress came (while we were still working on our appetizer.) and started to cook the meat for us along just my husband how he liked it cooked, I had to tell her my liking was different. The meat was very chewy with a lot of fat, nothing had flavor but the chadol kimchi bokkeum bap. As soon as we were done eating they came and cleared everything and I ordered another beer, with the beer came the check, thank neither of us asked for. All of this happed in 45 minutes. We love and appreciate Korean food very much, but this was a joke. Very pricey not worth it AT ALL. Will not be going back nor will we recommend it.

    Probably the best Korean bbq I’ve had - jumulrook beef was melt in your mouth. We preferred this to the lamb chops although they were also very good. The galbi tang was delicious. However it was actually the side dishes that stood out to us! So tasty and different to many other Korean bbq restaurants that we tried eg standouts were the tofu and pumpkin kimchee. Will definitely return.

    Hard to believe that this place is rated as high as it is. When I was looking for a Korean restaurant, it had 4,5 stars. The walls were filthy and had holes, the booth where we were sitting at was so rickety that I spilled my wine on my face when the guy behind me slammed himself against it. The food was bland and had no taste. Meat was so tough that we decided to take them home for the dog. The gimmick of this place seemed to be flashing lights in cocktails and some dry ice type stuff that made some dishes "smoke" when they were carried to the table. Service was okay, but with what I left as a tip, I would expect more. Our main course arrived before our appetizers etc. Real disappointment considering I paid over $300 for a meal for two kids and myself.

    Server forgot our pitcher of soju, tables received theirs before ours and they arrived after us. We finished our meal and then the pitcher arrived after a reminder before dinner. Cut of meats were pretty bad, very fatty pieces and chewy. Definitely not worthy the money! Overall, it was an alright experience. We wouldn’t come back though.

    I have been going to Wonjo for close to 20 years which is right next to your place. We decided to try your place instead We were really disappointed in the quality of the meat and the flavor. After spending $250 at your place, and not being satisfied, we immediately went to Wonjo next-door and had a meal again because, we did not enjoy the food at your place at all.

    We had a wonderful experience at Antoya. The space is huge and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a date, night out with friends, or celebrating with family. The amount of food for the price is great. You get so many delicious sides apart from the meats you order. The service is super attentive and everyone has a welcoming vibe. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!

    The cooked and prepared foods were subpar, although the cuts of meat from the platters were excellent. There were flies that kept swarming the table, and at one point there were 5+ gnats that kept flying on the food and around the guests at our one table. Absolutely disgusting and annoying. Being that this was a business meal, it was extremely embarrassing that this was the level this restaurant has become. The female server barely spoke, however we realized she did speak English, but her initial few interactions were incredibly rough, no words communicated, and was just awkward and rude. The banquette we sat in were incredibly flimsy and esp since the guests behind apparently didn’t know how to just lean back instead of slamming back, we kept getting pushed and disturbed while we were trying to enjoy our meal. Never again

    The staff was friendly, however not much advice given when asked for recommendations and I was a first timer with Korean BBQ. The food was tasty but would have ordered differently next time based on what others around me had in front of them. Lovely décor inside.
