The Apothecary is a unique New Orleans dining experience. While we have custom fang fittings and tarot readings on the premises , vampires also realize that mortals must eat and drink - so we have created the finest cuisine and cocktails to sate your pallet. Made with herbs and flowers from our courtyard garden, while it's not health food, our selections have medicinal properties. Come get a prescription of oysters on the half shell for your immune system - or as an aphrodisiac - hydrate with our berry coconut water (add rum for a relaxing twist) - Our lobster and crab stuffed portobello is good brain food! We got you covered!

The perfect place to get a late night bite - we are open until 2 a.m. daily! The Bloodiest Mary is a great cure for a hangover any time of day. Or rejuvenate with one of our blood bags - Fangria, a delicious sangria we import from Spain, or a Vampyre Vodka pomegranate lemonade .

The dining experience at this restaurant was truly one-of-a-kind. The gothic ambiance created a cool and unique atmosphere. The specialty cocktails were not only interesting but also delicious. The highlight of the meal was definitely the short ribs, which were cooked to perfection. The added bonus of a tarot reading and the option to have fangs made only enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable and extraordinary dining experience.

Very cute inside , staff are nice but the food was not it. The only good thing were the oysters and the truffle popcorn. The steak and red snapper was gross needed to add salt and hot sauce just to finish it. Oh the vex violet drink was good

My short rib and potatoes was great. My husband's fish was overcooked. Drinks wewe okay. We did not stay for dessert. Our waiter talked too quietly, did weird finger gestures instead asking us if we wanted anything. We saw a manager; none came to our table. The room is very noisy. The place is cute, but the vampire theme was ...non-existent. I was underwhelmed.

The ambiance was great and the decor was beautiful, but this place seems very poorly managed. Our food came out cold and was very bland. The drinks were also not that great, and our server forgot us we had to go to the bar to order the drinks he had forgotten about. Overall it was very disappointing and was very overpriced for the food quality and service.

I really want to give this place 5 stars but sadly I cannot. The door person and bartenders where amazing and extremely nice. My absinthe drinks were amazing. I had reservations to eat though and literally sat at a table for 20 minutes without being acknowledged by my waitress. So decided to sit at the bar instead which was amazing. This is the only reason I can't give 5 stars

Well…. The ambience was great. They did a really good job with the design. But we were 45 minutes in and 1 person in our group was still waiting for his first drink. Took forever to get our food. They seemed very disorganized. Ran out of menus so came over and took ours while we were still using them. Ran out of silverware so we got tiny salad forks. Manager kept trying to clear our plates while we were still eating. Food was ok. Got short rib which was not short rib. It was roast.

Has potential. Staff was super nice and the food was lovely. Unfortunately they told us they were having staffing issues and that caused a long wait and one of our meals never came out. By the time we found staff to ask they rushed it and then served us half cooked chicken. I truly think if they had proper staffing it would have been a wonderful experience.

Wonderful atmosphere. Friendly staff. There were 8 of us in for drinks. The cocktails are inventive and tasty. We decided to come back for dinner. Dawn set up our reservation for the next evening. Our table was ready when we arrived. The staff was on point and the food was great. We even had tea leaves read at the table. A fantastic experience. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Service was outstanding for our Sunday lunch. Atmosphere was interesting and comfortable. Cocktails were very good; but the food was barely passable. We might drop by again, just for the service.

Was really looking forward to eating here based on the menu and theme. Service was horrendous. Was sat at table with no flatware or napkins. Had to ask and then server only brought us forks. Food took forever and appetizer was served after entrees. 1 entree never came. Kept waiting for it. It never came because server didn’t order it. She placed order and it came out after everyone else had finished eating. And it was wrong. No apology, no offer to comp it or throw in a dessert. Server never checked in on us. No water refills, etc. Don’t waste your money here. So many better restaurants to choose from.

Cute touristy experience. The vampire theme is cute and campy. Menu is limited and they need to work out some kinks with food quality (undercooked or overcooked. Out of multiple things on the menu). Come for drinks though.

This place was a favorite so far on our trip. The cocktails and even the non-alcoholic drinks were delicious and interesting. While the menu wasn't too extensive, everything we had was beautifully executed and given a lot of thought. You could tell whomever put the menu together wanted the food to not only taste good but to be the best version of it possible. The atmosphere was unique and comfortable, but then again, my children commented that it's how I would decorate my own house if I could. Above all, the service was incredible. Scott was engaging, attentive, and made the entire experience one we will always talk about!

The Apothecary was beautiful and delicious! We sat in the courtyard and the atmosphere was stunning. They had a great selection of vegetarian options along with meat, and the drinks were fantastic! Service was excellent, Scott was our server and he was funny and provided great recommendations! We will definitely be back here.

We made reservations at 11:00 AM but when we arrived at 11:00 AM the two bar tenders and waitress (?) had no idea what we were talking about. I had to ask for menus, and when they asked if we would like to sit in the courtyard, I had to ensure that a table and chairs would also be in the courtyard. When no movement nor dialogue from the trio of waitstaff was made, we placed the menus upon the podium and left. Maybe if we were drunk and looking for more alcohol, maybe if we returned when the waitstaff was more awake/less high, or maybe if the owner/manager was present I could give a review of something other than abysmal service. My suggestion is to go anywhere else in New Orleans instead of the Apothecary. They should change their name to ‘The Ossuary’; the place where customer service is laid to rest for all eternity.

Happily stumbled upon Apothecary. The decor and vibe was totally on point for a vampire/NOLA inspired scene. Ordered several appetizers to share and everything was delicious. The oysters were super fresh & the truffle popcorn was such a tasty treat!
