Everything was perfect, great experience
Me: Steak tartare was good but I wasn't sold on the marrow bone included. Agnolotti had wonderful flavours but was oddly watery.
She who must be obeyed (and loved): Loved the scallops, highly recommended. Braised Wallace beef cheek was amazing, so tender.
Good wine list, lots of choices, including glass, half- and full bottle.
Always amazing food and the best steak in town. The servers are as exceptional as the food. Highly recommend!
My wife and I had a lovely lunch. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and loved the food. Our service was unbeatable - everything was perfect.
Booked table over One month in advance didn’t get seated until 55 mines after our booking, waited 20 mins at the bar before anyone even asked if we wanted anything, after 40 mins we were offered a free appetizer on the house, which was nice but hardly made up for our inconvenience of eating 55 minutes later than we wished to.
We would go back but not if we wanted to eat at a reasonable time compared to our booking, luckily we didn’t have further plans for the night as they would surely have been ruined.
Had diner here Sat evening it was my second time there in 3 months. Once again the food was fantastic and the service exceptional. Very convenient free validated parking in the hotel's underground parking lot . The wine list is extensive and runs from inexpensive all the way up to "don't tell my wife'. My sole criticism about this place is that it is very noisy. I will go back.
Very disappointed in the food breakfast menu I️ had eggs Benedict food was cold not very tasty back bacon not cook home fries good and cappuccino good
Consistently good food. Menu always updated with new and interesting dishes. Service is the best around - personal, great attention to detail. You never feel rushed.
Beautiful presentation of dishes.
Server was very knowledgeable.
Nice quiet atmosphere. Great for conversation.
Delicious food and great service. Will definitely be returning and will recommend.
The atmosphere and service has been great for both our visits! For our first visit, I had the scallops, duck, and ice cream. My wife had the tomato basil soup, salmon, and an apple crumble type dessert if my memory serves me correctly. All excellent! For our second visit, my wife had the scallops (even better this time around - top notch), salmon (perfect again), and a baked apple. I had the caesar salad (good, but nothing to write home about) and the prime rib (not a good piece of meat - very gristly on one half and the demiglaze seemed rushed and a tad burnt to my taste). I wouldn't mention it, but at $44 - the quality should be better. 3 out 4 meals being top notch is still pretty good though and we'll most likely be back.
I will never make reservations again as we only could eat from a set menu and our table wasn't next to the window and it was hot heat flowing down around our table. We always go there but never again on a set menu and we felt rushed ( I made a reservation one month and a half before New Year's Eve and we got a lousy table where as when we arrived they had tables available next to the windows and other two guests had a 4 seater table which is another reason why I couldn't understand why we had a small two seated table where we should have sat at a table that had a 4 seat table table and next to s window. Not happy and over priced for what we got

We enjoyed a beautiful Xmas dinner. Service was great, food was delicious. Make sure to reserve early for special occasions.
Visited Christmas morning for breakfast, prior to the mid-day fixed menu rush. It had been a few years since we ate here and the last time we ate here it wasn’t great. This time it was. Interior has been renovated since our last visit, staff was friendly and attentive. Meals were good, coffee was kept full. Good experience.
Loved the meal and service. We got our dessert on the house to crlebrate 40 th anniversary.
I've been to Aqua Terra many times & I've never been disappointed. For a special event or friends getting together, it's a wonderful venue. It is very European & my friends & I love that!
We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries at Aqua for a number of years now. Never disappointed.
Just one quibble. Two of us ordered the Arctic char special and it was delicious, but we both thought the portions were too generous. We came hungry and are good eaters - there was just too much on the plate.
Nice spot. Good food. Good parking. Nice wine list. Excellent service.
Service was over the top from the time we walked in until we left. Great evening out
We came to Kingston to take our 2 Queen student daughters out for a "nice" meal. Highly enjoyed. Further, after appetizers, my daughter had an adverse reaction to some medicine she was taking. Assistance was kindly offered in lobby and back at our table, post recovery. Many thanks to all.
We had a fabulous birthday dinner for my husband at Aqua Terra. The restaurant provides great views of Kingston harbour and the waterfront. The food was amazing and the price fix menu had enough choice so that everyone in our party enjoyed the options. Our server was exceptional. The restaurant manager Jeff provided the personal touch you rarely get in any restaurant. Overall, you would not go wrong with having any special occasion, lunch or brunch at this restaurant. We will definitely return!
Went for breakfast with family and the food was excellent! My favourite were the home fries - so melt in your mouth tasty!
The waterfront view is also incredible. I definitely recommend coming here.
The waitress was amazing. She was attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing and we had a wonderful time.
The new bread pudding on the the dessert menu was delicious, but the old chocolate bread pudding was superior! ;)
Fine dinning at its best. Great food. Great service. Great ambiance.
Service was super fast, we had the 72 hr.short ribs which was super tender and tasty.
Love the ambiance. We were so full from dinner that we had no room for dessert to mark our
Anniversary, but Marco gave us a delicious creme brûlée with a chocolate anniversary written on it..a special treat..thank you!🍷
A really terrific meal - full flavoured, well presented and well worth returning to enjoy some other time. Wine selection was great. Our server was attentive, funny and also knew when to arrive back at the table at just the right moment. A great evening!
The server (Susie) was very good but there were problems with the food that took way too long to resolve. The beef tenderloin was overcooked and on the second try, the beef was properly cooked but the vegetables were raw. It also shouldn't have taken over 20 minutes to replace the meal. We appreciated that we weren't charged for the entree but the whole experience soured us on the restaurant.
The noise from the lobby overwhelmed the restaurant and it was almost impossible to hear anyone at our table and we were in a quiet corner!
