   Our server was the highlight of our evening. He was very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The food was good, not great. The menu featured a lot of items interesting flavour stories but I'm not sure if the execution was up to the task. The flavours were interesting more than they were tasty and not what I'd expect for the premium price tag. Overall, the meal was fine but I think there are better options for the price in Kingston.

   I would like to thank the staff, Parker who worked the desk took us to a wonderful window seat to celebrate my wife's birthday. To our server Marco who was charming and knowledgeable. To Abigail who worked the bar that night and was our breakfast server. All were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. We have always had good meals and great service at Aqua Terra.

   We had a lovely time at our window seat while we enjoyed a delicious meal. Our wait-person, Sue, answered all my questions with humour and patience which helped me make a great choice. We will definitely return.

    My wife and I are fans of AquaTerra. This though was our first lunch (and we brought our oldest son, his first time) and overall it was good, but a few items didn't quite live up to expectations. The beer battered Haddock was "over fried" and the Terra Burger was quite bland. On the plus side, the chorizo shrimp never disappoints, the pork belly tacos were delectable, and the cantaloupe & burrata was excellent, once the server brought the burrata that was initially missing. So, there are a few things to improve upon and hopefully it'll return to the level we've been accustomed to on our next visit.

    We chose to celebrate our birthdays' at Aquaterra, and we weren't disappointed! The food was amazing as always, the service fantastic, the ambiance quiet and romantic. We will definitely be back again soon! Thanks for a wonderful date night!! Jennie and Matt Clark

    Dined at Aquaterra for my daughter's 21st birthday. She was in the middle of exams, and LOVED the opportunity to sit at a table with a magnificent view of the water. We ordered the Lamb and seafood specials as well as the sweet potato gnocchi. All were fabulous. The rib appetizer was spectacular, as was the calamari. Hats off to the chef. Great blending of flavors in all the food and desserts were to die for. Whiskey chocolate ganache was superb, as was the Creme Brule. Our waitress could not have been more pleasant or ready to please. Definitely worth a try for a special occasion. Pricey but not unreasonable given the quality of food, drink and wait staff.

    Reservations were made days ahead with a request for a table by the window. There was a note stating that specific tables cannot be reserved. This is understandable and accepted that we may not get a window table. When we arrived at check in, the hostess had a issue finding a table on the screen so she asked us to wait as she looked inside. 3 staff members went to look and they spoke among themselves, then one took 3 menus and walked us in. I noticed two available window tables (one for 2 and the other for 4), then she turned around in the middle of the restaurant and asked us if there was 3 of us, even while holding 3 menus. We said yes. She asked us to wait and stand there while they proceeded to move tables around at the back corner. Realizing she was not going to take us to the available window table, we asked if we can sit there. She said that table was for reservations. We immediately said that we had reservations. She looked at us for a second and asked us to sit down and she would ask. Seconds later, a party of 3 was seat at the available window table. This party came after us. We’re unclear as to why we weren’t seated at the window table when we first arrived. Further, instead of asking us to stand in the middle of the restaurant to wait for them to get a table ready, and even after we asked to sit there, we were still not given the table. We had reservations and we arrived before the other party of 3. As a customer, we felt de-valued. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The dishes (Fish and Chips, Grill Chicken and Brie Sandwich and the Breakfast Burger) were okay, but nothing special. For the price we expected better prepared dishes. We won’t be back and would never recommend this restaurant. For the price, we would expect a much better experience than what they are able to offer.

    I found the food to be ok… a bit bland. Deserts were seriously disappointing, Cher’s cake was flavorless and had a wired texture to it and chocolate layered cake was underwhelming and had an artificial aftertaste.

    Overall, it was a nice experience, but I was disappointed by the fact that the waiter did not tell us how much a non-alcoholic cocktail was going to cost us. $8 for non-alcoholic beverage seems excessive to me even in these changing times. I was also not impressed with the fact that my entree item was priced differently on the bill compared to the restaurant menu (not online)! Granted it was a $1 difference but that is important to me. Why itemize price in the menu at all if it’s meaningless?! I will definitely think twice before choosing Aqua Terra for lunch. Despite being more affordable than dinner it’s still quite pricey considering how little you get, I left still feeling hungry.

    Service was excellent as always! Disappointing salad that replaced the fries it was just greens with dressing and a $4 charge for this was added to the bill (we were not informed that there would be an extra charge). The salad could have been made a bit more appealing, The coffee machine was not working so we couldn’t finish lunch with cappuccinos. We will always return one of our favourite places to dine in Kingston

    Great restaurant! The food was fantastic and the chef accommodated all of the groups dietary needs-celiac dairy free and vegan. Our server Trevor was top notch and the atmosphere was quite and view was lovely. I highly recommend AquaTerra!
