    Andrew, our server was great; appropriate amount of attention, informed and friendly. The food is inventive and delicious. Of course, the views are great - if your back isn’t to them. It’s not ‘inexpensive’ for sure.

    This used to be one of go-to places for special occasions, but no longer. Others felt the same way as it was always busy and getting reservations was not guaranteed. It was always expensive but the details were so lovingly considered that it always felt special. Today it felt more like a cafeteria. Hard surfaces, no table decor, no salt and pepper, no bread and butter with soup. Fine fine but hardly outstanding. Also the room was very cold. Such a waste of a lovely waterfront space. We will not be back unless we hear it has changed its approach.

    Not crowded or noisy so conversation can be easily heard. Food was good and the service/ staff were excellent. Just one thing…..why can’t there be tablecloths? I find it makes a restaurant look more appealing.

    Visited twice for dinner. Located in the Delta hotel. Great location overlooking the harbor and lake. Dark wood décor which I like but some might think “old”. Service both nights was attentive and not rushed. Scallops and hash was 10 /10. Beef tenderloin was very good at medium. The French onion soup was very good also. Great place to go for a quiet evening.

    The service was the best! Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of our waiter. He was young, blond. If you want to find out who served us, my reservation was at 9:00am Sunday Nov 5th under Helene Pelletier and we were a party of 3.

    The food was absolutely outstanding. The taste and presentation was absolutely above and beyond. But what really made our experience top notch was Marco. He was always on the ball with service and suggestions. My Mom, who's birthday we were celebrating, wanted a lobster tail with her steak, but it was unfortunately a seasonal item. Marco quickly suggested shrimp instead and instantly up sold her on the item. He was quick witted and sounded quite compassionate. We will absolutely be returning and not just for the food!

    I visited with my parents for a nice meal. The food was exceptional and really reasonably priced for what you get. Nice atmosphere as well. Good place for a nice meal or to celebrate an occasion.

    We selected price fixed menu. Soup of the day was potato leek & would have been excellent had it been hot. Ours was barely warm. The rest of the meal was just ok but nothing special. We were seriously overcharged & sought refund. It was provided the next morning.

    From the moment we walked in until we left Marco our server treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. The service was above and beyond, helpful recommendations for the menu and outstanding manners. I can honestly say I have never come across exceptional service and food like AquaTerra, we will definitely return here when we come back to Kingston.

    We have gone to Aqua Terra since 2003. In 2019 I celebrated my birthday there with a group of friends. We always loved the quality of the food and the presentation. We were really disappointed this time.

    Normally a pleasant place to dine. We have been many times. Things simply fell apart this time around with ridiculously slow service. It took over an hour to get our meals which were a simple breakfast for me and a salad for my wife. The first cup of coffee had clearly been brewed ages ago. Ingredients were forgotten on the salad and my eggs were over done. I hope this is not a sign of things to come because it has been our go to restaurant in Kingston for special occasions. The server was great but had to keep apologizing for whatever was going wrong in the kitchen. They did reduce our bill, recognizing what was a very disappointing experience this time.

    When I make a reservation for 3, I expect I’ll be taken to a table with 3 places set. That was not the case and it was up to me to remove the 4th setting and deposit on an adjacent table…not a great start! And please do not offer to “grab” me a drink; perhaps you could just offer to bring me a drink! Our server was very attentive though he did not check back to see how everything was so we were forced to flag him down to get some salt. The food and presentation were generally very good though some of the prices seemed excessive. There were no nightly specials because “the chef is working on a new menu” which I found to be an odd reason…”but normally we do have specials”.

    The food was delicious and served by very friendly staff. The menu has a nice variety of choices-we had dinner one evening and breakfast the following morning. We will definitely eat here again.

    Food was only ok, lamb was swamped with Tomatoes and no starch, shrimp were advertised as wild caught Argentinian shrimp, they certainly were not, they were poor quality farmed. The service was poor, the server missed our appetizers and was far from friendly. Not a good experience, very disapointing

    All seafoods, entrees or main dish were way, way, way below par. We didn't think the chef knew how to cook any seafood! The meats, with their accompaniments, on the other were exceptional. The restaurant atmosphere lends to a very low end establishment. The table settings does not merit any stars on the contrary. Hence the whole experience was pretty disappointing, the personnel on the other hand did their best with what was given to them to work with!
