Good service but below average food. Such a shame as it’s a nice setting.
Very good food and top notch service. Will definitely be going back.
My friend took beet cured gravlax and it’s was awful. We already eat gravlax before and didn’t taste close from it. All the salad tasting brine. it's really going to take a good reason to go back.
Waitress be was very nice
We had our appetizers right away
When she cleared the dishes she asked if we were ready for the mains
We asked to wait 10 minutes
When she brought the food it was cold and overcooked , like it sat under a heat lamp to be fair we weren’t changed
Very pleasant, relaxing dinner with friends on a special occasion. We enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. Always nice to be on the waterfront - even in the early winter when the dark comes early!
Breakfast was fabulous!!!! Food & service was outstanding
Perfect spot, great cocktails and wine list, the seasonal menu was delicious! Staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. This is not your typical hotel restaurant, indeed may be one if the best in Kingston.
Excellent view, service and food. Always my go to please when I need a stress relief.
Fabulous meal. Conversation at the next table was a bit loud. Go easier on the salt next time and would like a smoother coffee blend.
Still our favourite restaurant in Kingston. Amazing food and service. We love the view of seeing the Wolf Island ferry. Nice complimentary creme brûlée for my wife's birthday/
Wonderful location, excellent ambience and very good food.
Well run business
Service was amazing. Food was mixed. The mains were cooked perfectly just seemed overly complicated. Scallop apps were delicious as was bread.
The ribeye steak was excellent, and our server was very kind and helpful about us having to dine with a baby.
A great anniversary dinner, food was excellent and the service was exquisite. Highly recommend
Excellent food with fresh ingredients - not processed. Great service. Great location and easy to get in to. It was exactly what we needed and away from the crowds in busy downtown Kingston. Best experience in Kingston so far.
The food this particular day was just plain bad. My Poke bowl had bruised avocados and was seriously overdressed. My guest had a sad looking chicken salad on wilted lettuce. Have had some nice meals here, but not his one!
I was beyond pleased with my experience at AquaTerra! The service was polite, friendly and quick. The food was amazing and the view of the water from the restaurant is beautiful. I can’t wait to go back again!
The food, service and ambiance was excellent - would definitely recommend!
Wonderful views, friendly and efficient staff, free parking, and yummy food.
Dinner was amazing. Food was beyond perfection. Our server was amazing!
The main course was very, very salty (we were told that there were cooks in training) but we did not have to pay.
Quality of dinner special was disappointing.
Having checked Google reviews for Aqua Terra, we were expecting another gourmet experience (we had eaten at Chez Piggy's and Tango Nuevo the previous two evenings). Firstly, it was rather difficult to get in to the restaurant as the Delta Hotel is undergoing some major repairs to its parking area and one enters (or at least we did) through a rather chaotic parking area with construction debris strewn about (not a look!). Once inside, we were able to locate the restaurant easily enough, but when we gave our name and said we had a reservation, they could not (initially) seem to find us in their system. Thankfully, I was able to show my OpenTable confirmation and we were seated. We had a lovely table by the windows (overlooking the harbour) that would have been "spectacular" if only the windows were not so filthy ... I mean seriously, filthy!! Our waiter was attentive and efficient, so five stars for service, but the food was just "okay" and in our opinion, the chef over-salted the entrée dishes (which was a shame). The chopped shrimp on, but not "in" my shrimp ravioli, was overcooked (rubbery) and the ravioli was "doughy". Given that our bill (roughly $240.00 for two) was about the same as we had paid for a five-star experience at Chez Piggy and Terra Nuevo, we likely won't be returning to Aqua Terra.
The food was pretty good, fries were alright.
Dinner was very good, no doubt about it but I've had much better French Onion Soup elsewhere. I'd eat here again for the ambience and view but there are better restaurants for the price. Whatever you do don't bother with breakfast. Not good at all, they don't know how to properly fry eggs, and way overpriced. Coffee not great either.
Overall very good. Food was good, service was great and the view was pretty.
Terrible experience here, the breakfast is really bad, no flavour at all, potatoes arrived the table cold, the sauce for the Benedict were bland, the service wasn’t good either.
Pretty restaurant. Spacious and great service. Unfortunately we did not finish our mains. The ribeye and chicken were over cooked and presentation was not nice for the chicken dish. The gnocchi looked like wedge potatoes. We decided to skip dessert. For the price it was disappointing and It did not meet my expectations.
The food presentation is perfect and the taste as well. Trevor always catch up on the order and deliver a good service.
Overpriced for the taste and quality of the food. Nice setting, very good service. Not worth it
AT is offering an abbreviated Covid-era menu but everything on it seems to be excellent. Four of us all had different entrees and were very satisfied. Highly recommended for an enjoyable (if expensive) night out.
We went to Aqua Terra as it was recommended as one of the best brunch places in Kingston with a view as a bonus.
The service was fabulous and they were very friendly and tried to accommodate.
The eggs Benedict were mediocre at best and the pea meal was like shoe leather.
The pancake however was one of the best I’ve had.
The windows were dirty. I don’t just mean regular dirty, but had some weird coloured streaks..so we were by the water but….
2.5 breakfasts including freshly squeezed Oj was under $50 after tax. Not horrible if the food had been good.
Overall, I would not go back but am grateful for the experience. Again, waitstaff were great.
Awesome time. Great service and ambience. Would recommend to anyone!
Exceptional service and ambience. Food was very good and would have given a 5 star except my wife’s steak was a bit grizzly and hard to chew. The flavour was so good though.
You will not be disappointed with Aquaterra!!!
My wife's chicken dinner was superb. While my beef steak was tasty, it was not very tender, a lit of waste.
I loved the creative, plant based option and really appreciate that it was offered. My partner had the lamb. Both of us had salads. All was delicious! The service was friendly and professional.
Excellent presentation of plates; our server Sue was extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation of the servings and selected perfect wine parings with our courses.
Waiter was not receptive at all. Only checked on us twice.
Pasta was bitter and lobster over cooked. Would not go back!
Satisfactory for a stop on a road trip
