Take a seat at the Lobby Bar or in The Vu lounge and enjoy a drink, small plate and live entertainment (select days) before or after your meal.
Surprised that my OPENTABLE confirmation number did not show up in their booking calendar. They were kind enough to take our word for it. Not sure I am comfortable using the app again.
we wanted to celebrate a birthday and they forgot, when the dessert arrived after a long time, the candles and eveything.
they apologized for the wait by giving us the desserts for free, but no mention of the candles. When we asked the waitress why no candles came, she just said that they couldn't be put in the type of cake that we chose. She wasn't going to mention the candles by herself, we had to ask her, and she acted as if it didn't matter, but we went to the restaurant to celebrate a birthday!!
Superb restaurant. The quality of food and presentation is second to none. Our server, Sean, was excellent. It was a special occasion and the right choice. Thank you
The server forgot about my reservation. He told me to go to the bar for a bit so he can prepare my table but ended up forgetting about me. Then, a couple came in and they were seated first and was given a nicer table than me. I was seated near a group of very loud people. Forgetting things here and there is fine if it is busy however, when I went there it was not busy at all.
Great service for booking, server very good. Meal excellant. Yet diiffernt and tastey . Restauant faciloty above & beyond - terrific.
Great meal! Was treated well for my birthday dinner and the meals were fantastic. Would definitely recommend!
As we were staying at the Delta, the Aqua Terra restaurant was great for breakfast.
One of our favourite spots for fine dining! Highly recommend this venue.
Great Ambiance, good food and friendly service. Marco was great!
It was a special occasion for us and AquaTerra is the place to be! Reception and service outstanding, food excellent and the view is to die for. Our waiter was knowledgeable friendly and efficient all in all a memorable 59th anniversary celebration. Next year is THE BIG ONE!! We will be sure to be at AquaTerra if we are in town! Thanks very much!
Food was good and hotel is nice. Breakfast was great!
Waiter seemed preoccupied and like we were a bit of a bother. Food was great.
Entrance to restaurant was blocked off, so we had to walk around and enter through parking garage. Once inside restaurant food was excellent, service exemplar.
A wider variety on the lunch menu on the weekend would be nice
Tasty food and the best waterfront view in Kingston.
Excellent experience and service. Great for special occasion. Quality food. Windows need cleaning.
Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Nice ambience with beautiful view of the lake and harbor. Exceeded our expectations.
Started with house salad and had mushroom Bolognese as main dish. Both were delicious! Enjoyed the bread with flavour infused butter also. Service was great! Food was amazing! Always enjoy dining here!
We had a wonderful experience at Aqua Terra. Dinner was delicious and our wait staff were very attentive. We were seated so that we could look out on the harbour and it was a gorgeous night.
Good food, good value and friendly service. A very possitive experience in the heart of Kingston's waterfront.
Service was good but the food was disappointing. We both ordered the lobster which turned out to be canned and lacking in flavour. The trashy music and conversation coming from the main entrance spoiled the ambience.
The bench seating was disappointing, they are too soft, making it uncomfortable to sit a, especially if you are short.
Back room was very cold and others left that area because of cold. No adjustment was made during the time.
Excellent service. Lovely view over the water. Pricey, but worth going for a special occasion. We were given complimentary desserts because we were celebrating an anniversary.
We have been dining at AquaTerra for several years now - it is our go-to restaurant for happy occasions (graduations, birthdays, finding out we were pregnant!), and we have never been disappointed. The food is well prepared with local ingredients and the menu changes with the seasons so we never have to order the same thing twice. Whenever we go we always request to sit in Marco's section as we have found that he is a lovely person and wonderful at what he does. On days when you're up for it he is happy to stick around for a chat and a laugh, while on other days he picks up on the vibe of the table and you don't even notice him refilling your glass!
10/10 for AquaTerra
12/10 for Marco!
The service was excellent. The food was delicious. The noise level was perfect as in we were able to have a conversation easily. We had a lovely time.
Beautiful location, fantastic service. We will return for sure when in Kingston. Highly recommend.
Delicious— never disappoints! Great atmosphere and accommodating staff.
This is my favourite place to eat a nice dinner. My wife and I are vegan and the chef made us a delicious asparagus risotto!
This is the fourth time we have gone to this restaurant as it is the perfect halfway point for my cousin and her husband to meet for a meal. We always luck out with a window table and a nice view of the marina. The service has always been perfect, the food choices are great and the meal delicious. We will be back!
Biggest issue for me personally was the noise level... It was far too loud for an enjoyable experience near the water.
Overall everything was very delicious and priced properly to the quality of the dishes.
The service was quick, kind, not over bearing but came to us enough to be just right. She perfectly explained each dish and recommended things / gave opinions on food we were looking to try.
Just could have been a bit quieter, or potentially had an area for that size of party that was making the noise.
Excellent in all respects!
2 of us did not enjoy our meal.... the shrimp rolls with salad. Our server was gracious and we were not charged for lunch. It was disappointing as meals have always been excellent.
The entrance through a paring garage was off-putting, but the food and service made up for it.
The food is utterly fantastic. The wine list needs to have more options.
The waitress it was very rude. And she make us felt uncomfortable. It seems she feel like a "fine" waitress instead of focus to give a nice and "fine" service.
Also, gift certificate option in the website should specific that we have to bring PRINTED the certificate for the restaurant and not for the person receiving the certificate. Instead of having a drama from the waitress for not bring it printed, and have to send it to print in the restaurant.
Althoug food it was very good.
After reading so many great reviews we had high hopes but we were disappointed, the food was nothing special and quite expensive for what it is. I would recommend eating at a medium range restaurant over this place. The service was great. We have eaten at many amazing restaurants internationally so I think we had very high expectations, and they were not met.
We had a lovely meal which we shared. Service was excellent. We shared our appetizers and entree with only water and the bill was $100. Entree was pricey but delicious. Had a really nice time.
