   The service, the ambience, and the food are very good. This was our first time dining in the restaurant, you must order their small platters for appetizers. They’re all very delicious.

   Our server was amazing. Excellent service! I had notes in my reservation that I wanted the window seat with the full water view and when we got there our table was far away and only half our party had a decent view. What’s the point of being able to make a note with your reservation if they’re not going to read it? Another party was seated in the table that would have been perfect.

   My friend and I enjoyed our dinner; however, we felt that there were limited choices in the menu. This was more of an issue for my friend as she cannot eat fish/seafood. In spite if this we will likely return.

   This was our first time back post Covid since we live a few hours away and stop in when we stay overnight in Kingston. AquaTerra didn't disappoint! Our server Trevor was incredible! from his relaxed professional approach to his knowledge of the wine list and menu. We had a very enjoyable evening from our apps to our mains and even an indulgent desert. Thanks so much!

    I am never disappointed when I take someone here. The space is elegant and the view is entertaining in the summer months with the boat slips and the waterfowl just outside your window. Always request a window table. The escargot were not the usual presentation but tasty nevertheless, be careful with how much you eat though as it is very rich and you want room for the rest of your delightful meal. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and even though is was a sizable portion I was able to eat it all. The desserts are a little on the thin side for choices, it needed something lemony but the bread pudding was very tasty. Coffee is delicious and comes piping hot. Our server was attentive but not annoying, thank you Andrew for a great meal.

    We really enjoyed our experience. We had a wonderful table with a water view and the ambience/environment in the restaurant was lovely and relaxing. Waitor was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

    Everything was perfect except the portion/price ratio. The clam chowder was a appetizer size sold as a main. We were still hungry when we left. For a $200 lunch, I would have expected that the 4 of us would have felt pretty full.

    My husband and I attended the NYE set menu dinner. We love going to aqua terra but the first 3 courses needed salt,also lacked taste, unfortunately every course was very small. Wish instead of 6 courses they did 3 or 4 and made the servings bigger. Also I was freezing during our dinner, I was wearing my husbands jacket during the majority of our time there and the server did not seem to care. He also rushed us through every meal we were out in almost an hour. Sucks that this experience wasn’t the greatest because we love Aquaterra !

    I have eaten at AquaTerra intermittently for many years, and entertained there, including my elderly (and very particular) father. The menu alone never fails to impress, and I very much enjoy the frequently changing menu options, the beautiful serving dishes, and the presentation. Even the yogurt parfait is presented beautifully- how often does one day that about an amorphous dairy product? More importantly, the host / hostess and service team members have almost always been not just “on point,” but well beyond “on point.” When there are staffing challenges, and during the pandemic there have been, they make do with a very good demeanor. Today, 28-Dec, the hostess happened to be the hotel GM, helping to cover to ensure an adequate service level. I very much appreciate the can do mindset and her incredible disposition- despite me showing up at the end of the meal service period. So, from me, a very strong recommendation to others. To the AquaTerra owners, management, host/hostesses, servers, and kitchen team: a sincere and heartfelt thank you for many wonderful meals and experiences overlooking the Martello Towers.

    I was disappointed with the vension carpaccio. It had hardly any taste to it. It was extremely tender but was missing seasoning. And the cheese would be better in bigger strips than just a light dusting of grated cheese. The liver mousse/tater tot appy was interesting and good, but not great. My friend really enjoyed her fish and chips and her chocolate dessert, so overall it was a fun lunch.

    The server was not patient with an old man on the table beside us. Innaceptable. Then he was the same with us. The turkey was dry. The dessert was completely done by someone who surely has never cook. Some part of the meal but other part were not not good. Overall, this is too pricy for the experience.

    Easy to do the booking on line when you are last minute and looking for a place that is open on Christmas Day at noon. Hotel staff and wait staff were friendly and welcoming. Good choice of foods on the special Christas menu. Carrot/ginger soup was delicious. It was a lovely experience!

    We do like coming here for family events and the staff always go out of their way to make our visits pleasant. We have noticed that the menu items have become quite pricey even for a burger or a sandwich at lunch. The restaurant was largely empty in the days leading up to Christmas which may reflect fewer locals dining there.
