I love this restaurant and I love Ken Aretsky. I have followed him wherever he's gone including his ownership of the 21 Club and his first bar/restaurant Oren and Aretsky's on the UES. I was a young man there and a regular. I have fond memories of that establishment and Patroon is one of my favorite places to eat. They have an eclectic menu and not the usual steakhouse offerings. You can order a light meal or a big sumptuous one. I've never had a bad meal there and all the employees are terrific. I especially love when Ken comes around to great his patrons.

4th Visit First in about a year. Patroon is fine dining at it’s best. We had the Crispy duck special and it was. Delicious only approach’s the taste. The lamb chops were also excellent. Highly recommended

Okay, look. This place was phenomenal. I came to celebrate my wife’s birthday and I specifically left a note in our reservation to have a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us at the table. Oh and they delivered. It was there chilled and she felt special. The service and our waiter was personable and professional. Led us in all the right directions when it came to food suggestions. When the food came out, it was presented beautifully and tasted even better. I would definitely recommend coming here for any occasion.

First time we have been here and it will not be the last. Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful room with great energy. Staff is amazing and Manny was an outstanding server who made our night even better. Food is incredible and a perfect martini. What more can you ask for? Loved it and cannot wait to return!

Short pour on our cocktails but the rest of the experience was lovely. The Aretsky family is truly caring and genuine and present. So more of a family feel than the other local “steakhouses.”

An outstanding luncheon experience! I hadn't been back to Patroon since pre-COVID times. Great to be back and to introduce two friends to this wonderful spot. We got to experience rooftop dining, and it was fabulous. The ambience, the food, the service - all first rate. Even the weather was marvelous. Thanks for enabling old friends to reconnect and reminisce in stlye!

The gazpacho soup special was a disappointment, taste like a salsa that had been left out in the rain; wet. The tuna special, was a terrific piece of hi-grade tuna, beautifully seared and slathered in hot/spicy sauce... We were sat nearest the entrance of a 1/3 full restaurant. if you get this spot ask to be moved, the breeze from the constant opening of the door and arrivals shuffling in and out made the location a worst spot for anyone and saddest for a returning fan. Service was OK maybe it picks up in the evening to how I remember things? Coffee took an age to deliver, cream is a special request now...Ken, Ken, wherefor art thou?

Lots of wheeling and dealing going on at this quintessentially New York American classic. You can feel the energy sans cacophony as serious looking business folks enjoy a modern take on classic fare all delivered up tempo in the comfort of a leather-lined dining room that feels like someone’s elegant living room. Sneak back to the cozy bar or enjoy cocktails on the rooftop. Ken may swing by to say hello for that extra dose of NYC flair. Oh, and save room for the homemade Oreos.

Always outstanding to the point of asking yourself after the meal why you would ever dine elsewhere. I’ve been dining in NY for 40 years and can’t remember when I had a better steak. Impeccable service, nicely crowded with great people watching and a real treat if Ken Artesky is there and comes over to say hello.

I have been a long fan of Aretsky's Patroon. Ken has always been the consummate restaurateur knowing all of his guests and having superlative staff, food and wine. His son, Gene, carries on the tradition when Ken is not there and he is Ken in the making! We have hosted memorable private parties there and I have had many celebratory dinners there as well as business meals. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Thank you Ken & Gene!
