   The food, wine and staff were absolutely amazing! Our waitress was knowledgeable on wine pairings and was spot on with her suggestions. The majority of the menu was gf as well! Highly recommend.

   Arlo hit it out of the park was last night. The meal was the best I have had in a restaurant EVER. The wine list is always interesting and delicious but last night’s orange wine and Spanish red were both delicious but also perfectly paired with the eclectic flavours on my plate. The Sommelier and Server were knowledgeable, fun, attentive and essentially perfect. It was an experience to be repeated and I would highly recommend it to everyone in Ottawa. 1000 stars!!!!

   Sometimes when you return to a place you have loved - the magic is gone - not at Arlo - the return was just as wonderful as the first - service, food, suggestions - all fantastic.!!!

   Wonderful service, food was delicious, well prepared, tasty and light. The portions were very generous, more than what you normally get at that price point. Highly recommend and looking forward to trying it again

   I rarely buy into hype. Everyone was telling me how great Arlo was but I had to see for myself. And was I ever delighted. I remember the days of truly feeling taken care of when I went out. But ever since Covid, I could really feel how tight the margins were at restaurants. It’s as if I could feel the tension between providing excellent experiences and just keeping the doors open. Being at Arlo was like stepping back to a time where every detail was considered and valuing guests was the #1 priority. It was evident how the down to earth staff felt a sense of ownership over our experience. Attentive but not intrusive, helpful but not pushy and generally attuned and kind. The food was delicious. The ribeye was standout. Satisfying, humble, and absolutely satisfying. Really loved our experience and recommend it to anyone looking for a special night out.

   Incredible meal and service! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was fast, attentive and knowledgeable. Would eat there again and highly recommend!

   Great food, attentive and quick service. Duck confit is a hit, and so is the espresso-based dessert.

   -beet salad was excellent, best dish -maitaki mushroom was very tasty and would order again. beef tataki was unique and enjoyable, as were the scallops -we ordered the terrine and the server forgot to provide us with crisps -steak was a little difficult to eat, slightly overcooked & I wouldn’t order it again

    Let me start off by saying that I’ve dined at Arlo in the past and really enjoyed it…but not this time. They had a “pop-up restaurant experience” hosted by Henrietta restaurant from Montreal. It felt like the dishes they served were a collection of stuff they had kicking around the back & needed to offload. The prices were literally double what you’d pay at Henrietta’s (I checked out their menu online). It blows my mind that; 1) Arlo would let this garbage into their restaurant, 2) That in this digital age they thought they could get away with charging double the restaurant price & 3) That Henrietta can survive in Montreal serving Chipotle-style food at fine dinining prices. Total failure.
