   One the best dinning experience I’ve had in quite some time. The service, ambiance, the food were elite, with attention paid to finer details. Excellent all around. A new favourite restaurant.

   From the moment we walked through the doors at Arlo, it was clear this restaurant operates with a level of precision and passion that sets it apart. The attention to detail was evident in everything, from the flawless service to the small touches that made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. We started the evening with appetizers of blistered peppers and anchovy + lardo toast which complemented each other beautifully. The wine selection was equally impressive with pairings that really brought out the best in the food. The staff’s wine pairing suggestions and menu recommendations elevated the entire experience. Our main course was a duck fritz and an amazing rabbit leg - flavourful, perfectly cooked, and plated with care. Just as we thought we couldn’t top our night, dessert arrived, a meyer lemon take on tres leches cake that reminded us of a perfect lemon meringue pie. It was light, rich, and the perfect ending to the meal. We left full, happy, and already thinking about our next visit!

   We had a great meal and warm service as usual. Two of us had turbot. Two shared the 16oz beef dish everything was delicious. Service was friendly and impeccable as usual. Yum!

    We are so lucky to have this wonderful spot in our neighbourhood. The atmosphere is perfect, wine selection interesting, fun and special, but the food… brilliant. We enjoyed the oysters, then shared a beautiful, fresh and balanced gem salad with pistachios and rhubarb. One main was the duck which we’ve had before - so good, amazingly tender and crazy delicious fries. The other main was the rabbit leg and honestly I haven’t had anything as delicious and lovely as this in quite some time. The brilliant (how did I never think of this) dessert was pecan pie with blue cheese. (We usually get the cheese and maple.) Sublime. I am going to try this idea when making maple pouding chômeur. Thank you so much to everyone on the team for what you do which made our impromptu Thursday night date so good.
