The food and service were excellent. The jazz band performed while we dined but it’s not so loud that you can’t enjoy the dinner. It’s one of the best places that we ate while in New Orleans. Much better food than Antoine’s where we also dined. Arnauds is a great fine dining experience and a New Orleans treasure.

Food was excellent and the place was packed. We had a seat near the back wall and had a great view of the room. Small three piece jazz band was playing in the corner. While we were there they strolled around playing for each table any special requests they might have.

Positive: Highly recommend ordering the Cafe Brulot! It’s an experience watching them create their signature after dinner burnt brandy drink. And you also want to try the Arnauds signature cocktail. It’s fantastic, but be careful. It has TWO scotches. Negative: Food was ok. Too much noise (band) outside on the street.

The food was incredible as was the jazz trio which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was very good, attentive staff. Only criticism was wait person spoke too softly, and I had to have him repeat everything at least once. Hint: when you see grey hair, speak up!!!

Food was mediocre. They charge you $6/pp for the band, which is fine but it would be great if they let you know in advance. Additionally, we order bananas foster to be made at our table but due to the table Location they couldn’t make it in front of us. Disappointed overall, but the music and ambience was fabulous.

Loved all the attention. As a women, it is important to have someone make sure I know where the bathroom is and that everything is perfect for a delicious meal. The service is out of this world and I loved every minute!! Thank you to Yvonne she is amazing!

Spencer was a great server! Food outstanding! Good value. The trio playing was really fun. It’s a shame others thought to overtalk everyone around them for their selfish attention. “It’s my birthday “. She acted like she was 8 years old. But I would still recommend this restaurant. It felt like old school Bourbon Street! Not new rap crap!

Very nice dining experience. Loved the jazz band playing and the wait staff was great. Classic French food and being from Maryland, my wife got the crab cakes and I will tell you they by far are the best I have had outside Maryland. Must get the table side coffee or dessert.

The first drink and the appetizers were good, but everything went downhill from there. Totally not the servers fault as the three servers working the room where we were seated had six tables including one that started out as a ten top, then twelve, then fourteen, then thirteen, then everybody shuffled after placing their orders. That made going decent service to anyone else in that section pretty impossible. the entrees came out warm, at best. The endive salad was so vinegar heavy that it was inedible. I ordered a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon to go with my steak, but because of the previously mentioned service problems, the glass did not arrive until I had finished my food items. And it was of a quality that I would never serve to anyone. The jazz trio advertised, and the reason we chose to go to this restaurant, was not quite what was anticipated either. There is no stage for a performance, with the trio instead going table to table during the evening. I was expecting to hear music more than occasionally as they approached the room where we were seated. And that drowned out by the party of 10, no 12, no 14, no 13.

Overbooked and deafeningly loud, there were two bachelor parties and an even larger group near the door, all yelling over each other making it impossible to hear the jazz band, let alone have a decent conversation at the table. Service accommodated a table change to the main room, and the food was good enough, but we found the souffle potatoes a little underwhelming compared to Antoine's. I would have preferred to enjoy the Jazz Bistro to its fullest, but in order to do that, I'd think they should only accompany parties under a certain size in that small, hard surfaced room, as in 4-6 max.

Lovely place. Nice old time trio playing. It wasn’t loud but it was a band so if hearing is a problem it might not be you. I loved it. Came to my table and played some Louis Armstrong. Food was delicious! Everyone around me seemed very happy.

The drinks were great. The food was just OK. The jazz trio was good when they played. However they took a lot of breaks and didn't come to our table at all. Not worth the $6 per person charge. It was overpriced for the food quality and amount. Not sure we would go back.

We really enjoyed our meal at Arnauds. I had the turtle soup which I had never tried before & it was very tasty. I had the quail for my main course which was delicious. My partner had escargot & fish for his main course. Everything really good, a very enjoyable night out altogether.

Riding on its reputation. Better value elsewhere. Some dishes were excellent others just average. Very noisy. Trio of musicians were fun and the service by Spencer was top notch. We called early in the day to see if we could make our reservation earlier and they accommodated us but we were seated next to hallway to kitchen. It was like being seated in the middle of a busy train station.

This restaurant offers outstanding wait service although one side item was forgotten. The salads were excellent as well as filet mignon steaks; however, the seafood entrees did not rise over the top of restaurants elsewhere in the French Quarter. Creamed spinach was mediocre, but the special potatoes were a delight. The jazz band was slightly too loud to carry a conversation and it was disappointing for one of my guests to learn about the musicians' charge after he tipped the trio $20! It has been 20 years since my last visit here and the first for my guests. It was a nice dinner; however, we will never return.
