   This is our go-to spot for extra special occasions. The service is always very good, and the steak and seafood so much tastier than Buckhead and other steak chains. We love to start with the oysters, shrimp cocktail (huge!), the bread service, filet, lobster mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. The only thing nit-picky negatives I will say: the wines by the glass felt very limited (particularly the reds) and the price for the lobster Mac and cheese has gone up to $28 which seems a lot for the side. Sadly we asked for it boxed up which they took back to the kitchen and tossed ☹️. They first sat us in the large downstairs covered patio and it just felt way too casual of a setting for an expensive steakhouse. We moved to our usual section upstairs in the cozy booths by the bar. Otherwise a nice experience and we will be back.

   Treat restaurant for my wife and me - i.e., we don't eat steak or red meat often, but when we do, Arnette's is at the top of our list. Cannot go wrong either with KC Strip or the Cowboy ribeye, medium rare - ever. Wide selection of appetizers, went for the James River (I grew up in Richmond) oysters, brussel sprouts and wedge salad. Service was fantastic, loved the Bob Dylan/Jimi Hendrix/Tom Petty paintings in the bar area, the we got seated in a side-by-side date booth looking out into the bar. Mr. Arnette takes nothing for granted - he always stops by to personally check on anyone who dines in - and service is first rate.

   Meal was very good but not worth the prices they are charging. Wagyu beef special was not described as very heavy with fat and one person disliked it. Restaurant did reduce the bill for that item. The sides are for the table so do not order many as you will have many left-overs. All-in-all, meal OK but expensive.

    Had a great time. Our server Hector was outstanding, he made fantastic recommendations both for food & drinks and was equally attentive. We were a 5-person group and everyone enjoyed their meals (filet, cowgirl ribeye, NY strip, & red snapper). I wish my filet had a some more seasoning/flavor but it was cooked to perfection. Sides are family style so we were able to taste a few and the oysters were super fresh. All in all, a great meal, at beautiful place, with really good food, and fantastic service.

    The service experience was great. The food & drinks were amazing. Wifey lobster pasta came out a little soupy. The Staff was quick to respond and remade it very quickly. Our waitress was great & attentive . We came here for a birthday and the staff made my wife birthday that much better. Thank you all

    The menu was limited however the service was friendly. There was a hair in my partners birthday dessert so that was disheartening. The wait staff did not bother to comp the dessert. I ordered dover sole. The description did not include cherry tomato’s. I am allergic to tomato’s which posed another problem. I like the ambiance and location is off the beaten path.

    Went for our Anniversary and was pleasantly surprised to get free champagne and dessert. Food was excellent. We were sat in the dining area adjacent to the bar area, it was so loud you could barely hear each other speak, four tables around us asked to be seated elsewhere. “Doggie bag” wasn’t packed properly and the bottom fell out of the bag on the way to the car because sauce was spilled in the bag. If you are going for a special dinner ask not to be seated upstairs.

    If we're paying hundreds of dollars for an arranged birthday meal, WHY were we sat in the "garage" area when the dining room sat empty? The ambiance was a total turnoff, the food tasted worse than we make at home. TOTALLY UNDERWHELMED.

    If I could give more than five stars, I would. David was soooooo attentive and treated my dinner guests with so much care and patience. He is truly passionate about service and went above and beyond to make my experience one of a kind. He helped to deliver gifts to my guests which is completely not something he had to do, he made thoughtful suggestions and we enjoyed every single bite. All of the staff at Arnette’s were very pleasant and I will 100% return again.

    My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here just yesterday and were impressed with the service, the quality of food and the overall ambience of this restaurant. The food was delicious, served rather quickly by the attentive staff. We will definitely come back here.

    ​Dinner last night at Arnett's Chop Shop for four was a bit of a disappointment. I had the steak frites, which was listed on the menu as 10 oz. I don't believe it was anywhere near 10 oz. The quality of the meat was not what I expected for the $36 price. Martinis and whiskey sour were all $18 to $19 each. The bacon appetizer was outstanding, but in general, I would say the food and drink were average​.​The prices were high, so not a good value for the money. The ambiance and the service were good.

    It was very dark in the restaurant. Besides the lighted up pictures on the wall. We asked the waiter who were the picture of and he had no clue. Waited 30 minutes to get a drink. We did get water. The stock on wine was apparently low or inadequate. We got our food including appetizer an bread all at once. The vibe was so dull. No class and no timing to the meal. The potatoes were good. Everything was over salted. I would not go back. Better to go to Bones or McKendricks.

    My family and I dined here for my mom’s birthday and EVERYTHING was amazing. From the service to the drinks to the food, we enjoyed it all. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and he was very personable. I had the scallops with lobster oscar and lobster mac. I enjoyed every bite. The ambiance was amazing as well, this is the perfect place for date night or a celebratory dinner. It wasn’t too loud or too quiet. I simply enjoyed the dining experience provided by Arnette’s Chop Shop.

    This was our first visit to Arnette’s. We have been wanting to try this place for a while. We have covered most steak places in ATL but heard that this one should be on our list. We made a reservation for dinner on a Sunday evening, party of 4. It’s plain to see, the ambience, decor, staff, and food is all the highest quality. I don’t even think that the other steakhouses come close. Compared to the “all business” look and feel of other steakhouses, the ambience of this place takes it up several notches. We loved everything about our evening! One important thing to note though, is that our waiter David really made the night extra special for us. David definitely adds value to this place in a big way and I’m sure Arnette’s knows this. The restaurant got lively after 8:00 but we still felt like we were David’s only guests. He was personable and professional. From the warm hand towels, (I LOVED THESE) attention to details and recommendations, he made sure each of us were well attended to. The 8 ounce Filet was fantastic as was the 12 ounce Filet, Spinalis, Tuna Crudo- so many great flavors packed into this. We also ordered a Caesar gem salad, fresh oysters, the bread service (which benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank) and definitely the Dauphinoise Potatoes. We ordered sides of Brussels and mushrooms to share but the potatoes won on flavor. We also loved the cheesecake and Crème Brûlée which were a perfect end to our evening. We never usually order dessert but we wanted to try a little bit of everything that David suggested. I know, I know, we ordered a lot of food! What a great night! Arnette’s just jumped to the top of our list. We definitely want to highlight the steaks. They were excellent. And David, he was also excellent. Have dinner at Arnette’s. If you make a reservation, do yourself a favor and request David as your waiter. Your experience will be perfect!

    I am truly disappointed to say that my recent visit to Arnettes Steakhouse was nothing short of an utter letdown. Given the hype surrounding the restaurant, I had high expectations, but it failed to deliver on all fronts. To start with, the food was subpar at best. It's one thing to pay premium prices for a fine dining experience, but it's another to be served mediocre dishes that don't justify the cost. The steak was over cooked and lacked flavor, and the sides were bland and uninspired. My grouper special was not worth the $50 price tag. We ended up paying $200 for a meal that was far from satisfactory, which left a sour taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. The service at Arnettes was no better. Our server was inattentive and disinterested, giving us the impression that our presence was more of a burden than a privilege. To make matters worse, not once did anyone check on us to see if we needed anything or if everything was to our liking. It's disheartening to witness the decline of a once-revered establishment like Arnettes Steakhouse. It seems that the management has lost sight of what made it successful in the first place: exceptional food and outstanding service. At this point, it's hard to recommend Arnettes to anyone, as it's just not worth the hefty price tag. Save your money and your taste buds – look elsewhere for a truly satisfying dining experience.

    We celebrated our 2nd anniversary at Arnette's Chop Shop, and it could not have been better! We sat at the Chef's Table and had first-hand experience watching all of the kitchen staff hustle and bustle to make all restaurant goers' meals happen - and got to get an idea of what we wanted to eat as well. So good! Our server, Chris, was by far the best server we've had. He was incredibly knowledgeable and overall made our evening a great one! We have been to Arnette's many times, but this one definitely went down in the books as being the best to date. Highly recommend the Filet Center Cut, Jalapeno Creamed Corn, and the Cocktail Shrimp. Oh, and definitely end your evening with an Espresso Martini - so good!
