   This is one of our favorite restaurants but this particular brunch as awful. First an incorrect egg dish was served. Then the requested scrambled eggs and onions came but the onions were not cooked. Asked for jam - first they brought ketchup - then mayo. Basically it was not the first rate meal we are used to at this establishment.

   Waited almost 90 minutes for entree to arrive. Was headed to the Beacon for a concert and advised waitress of such. The waitress was inattentive and didn't even come back to ask if we wanted another round of drinks. Very bad service and not much value for the price.

   What's Not To Love About Arte Cafe? Been a "regular" for years, neighborhood favorite place for Italian. The Carpaccio de Manzo is SPECTACULAR, perfectly complemented by a perfectly balanced martini.

   The server wasn’t very attentive or accommodating. We brought our own expensive champagne for our celebration & it was immediately poured completely out into each flute, filled to the very top. I asked for what I thought, was an easy modification, because of an allergy and was replied with a no. One persons meal arrived 15 minutes after everyone else and we had to ask where it was. I had to get up myself and try to find salt & pepper since no one was around. I asked for coffee a few times before I got it. We closed out with our server because it was the end of her shift, we waited but no one came by to ask us if we wanted more drinks, which we did. The food was good and reasonably priced, but they need to train the waitstaff & support staff on steps of service.

    Very cozy restaurant! I liked the food and the ambiance. The distance between each table was relatively wide, so I didn't feel squeezed in. Definitely will visit again!

    Excellent neighborhood place. Food goes from good to excellent albeit not gourmet. Very pleasant and relaxing. A little annoying that you must ASK for the prix fixe menu if you want it. Though they have a bit sign advertising prix fixe from 12-6 during weekdays (M-Th I think) when you sit down at the table the present only the regular menu. Everything was otherwise really good.

    I had heard about Arte Cafe but had never been and wanted to try it. We went for Valentine's Day and had a very lovely experience. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, the food was excellent and the ambiance was electric. We both enjoyed it very much and want to go again. My only criticism is that, although we never felt like we were being pushed out, the meal moved so fast that it felt rushed. I was only half way through my cocktail when the appetizer came, and as soon as I put my fork down, the main course arrived. We were in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes, even though we lingered over dessert as long as we could. Otherwise, it was a great evening and we highly recommend it.

    Service was a little slow but they were very nice and accommodating. Fried calamari was very fresh, great seasoning. Margarita pizza was cooked just right, crispy and light. The squid ink linguine was Spectacular. I have had this dish in many other restaurants and this one was perfect. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was light and linguine was cooked just right and not saturated with sauce. Must get the cheese cake!

    Wow. We’ve been here several times in the past and are fans, however this visit was especially enjoyable. The food was delicious as always. We ordered off the Prix Fix menu and so the value was great as expected. However our service was absolutely fantastic and pushed our experience over the top. Many potentially great restaurants forget that the reason people chose to go out to dine is to be treated special and to have an experience. Our server did just that. Bravo!

    We went during NYC restaurant week to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Four of us had lunch. Our waiter was exceptional (I'm sorry I don't remember his name), he really made the afternoon memorable and a delight.

    We went during restaurant week. The service was pretty good. We sat in the garden. It was comfortable with the heaters. The food was good. My kids enjoyed the pizza. They had a decent kid’s menu.

    The last two visits within a couple of weeks apart, I could not get a couple of bottles of wine at a certain price and there was nothing to offer at a comparable one. I think an effort should be made to accommodate the customer so this was very disappointing and hence I had to pay way more than I had wanted. Later on the waiter came over to the person who had the least amount in his glass and began to pour almost emptying the bottle when the person did not want anymore. This is not the way to proceed and we were horrified. And the last two times they did not record our being there on Open Table after having checked in. Something seems to be amiss here and it was all going so well when they first changed management.

    Have not been to the Cafe lately, due to the pandemic and when I did return when things were starting to open up, I was disappointed in the food. I am happy to say that this time it was as good as I remember and the service was excellent. Glad to be back!

    Wonderful evening. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the eggplant and ricotta pasta and Cesar salad. The chicken piccata was excellent. Food was flavorful and well prepared. Will be back soon!
