    Booked a reservation here for my wife and I on a Monday in September and got a table at 9 PM. I had put in a request for a "romantic table" and they seated us in the corner near the window which was perfect. The service and food was outstanding. And the owner (I assume) greeted us and seated us and gave us a personal welcome which was a really nice touch. I have only two qualms - the room is fairly small and was pretty crowded and it was LOUD to the point where it could be sometimes hard to hear without leaning in. Also, as excellent as the food was, the bread was very average (that's being charitable), no crust, bleached white flour and not dense at all. My mom used to say you can tell a lot about an Italian restaurant by the bread they serve. I don't think that's fair in this case as the food was excellent. Which made the pedestrian bread even more puzzling. And a final, very minor quibble is the fact that there was a TV up on the wall behind our table. Looked very out of place in a restaurant of this caliber. All in all, we would definitely go back. But please up your bread game!

    Great spot with fun vibe and attentive staff. Meatballs great and appetizer plenty for 3 or more. We both had seafood pasta dishes, sauces great and seafood overcooked and a little tough especially the lobster in the fra diavlo and clams in the spaghetti in white wine.

    Four of us had a great dinner. Apps and entrees were plentiful, lovely presentation and delicious. The wait staff are knowledgeable, helpful and fun! The ambience is high energy! I would definitely recommend it and will go back again.

    My only concern is the lack of accessibility. It’s up one flight of narrow stairs and the tables are tight. Otherwise an overall wonderful delicious experience.

    Extra large portions. Not sure why the Carbonaro was so loose. If you’re looking for Italian American with a giant portions, this is the place for you.

    The restaurant was beautiful. We had the Insalata Caprese as an appetizer, it was excellent. I had the Gnocchi con Aragosta, while the lobster was very good, the gnocchi was terribly overcooked, the sauce was separated, part butter and part red sauce, not bad, but not great, just different, and not expected. My companion had the Ravioli con Fungi. The grilled escarole took over the plate, and was not very good. There are too many great places in the North End to head back to Arya Trattoria.

    Arya really Is the finest in the north end. We love going here never ever disappointed. Massimo and his staff are excellent in all service, food quality and taste is exceptional, while the experience of the quaint atmosphere puts you at the most welcomed feelings as if part of a family event. The wine selection compliments the true Italian (and couple of Greek!) dishes presented here perfectly. Excellent.

    I must say Best bolognese pasta in North end area. Pasta had very flavorful sauce without overwhelming taste and pasta itself had good flavor & texture. Wait staff were professional and efficient. We received Fast and prompt service while the entire dining room were packed. While dining room had no ambiance, all dishes were well flavored, presented way above my expectations.

    What a gem of a spot. A local friend recommended Arya and it did not disappoint. Killer food, meatballs were amazing and the gnocchi was to die for. Staff service was great, didn’t rush us and made us feel welcome.

    I took my family of four. Our 4 and 7 year olds split the mushroom ravioli. My wife and I had the tasting menu and could not ask for more. It was excellent and the staff was top notch. We loved it and will come back again.

    As always this restaurant delivered on everything. The meatballs, of course, were amazing as was the lobster ravioli and Bolognese. If you want Italian in Boston then get your reservation here. .

    Great atmosphere, location, good food and very attentive service. We both had the gnocchi with lobster which was a slightly strange mishmash of flavours… basically felt like an American take on an Italian menu which was fine but not the best. Also despite only having been there 90mins we were asked to vacate our table having eaten when we were still finishing our wine. The manager was very polite about it but given the amount we’d spent it wasn’t the best way to end the meal… had we been told in advance that they needed the table back by a certain time (as typically happens eg in the UK) it wouldn’t have been a problem but this didn’t happen. So: mixed overall.

    Service was very good in this very small second floor restaurant. Unfortunately, it was super loud in there to where it was exhausting. The food was good but not great. Value was so so. If you suffer from claustrophobia do not go there. The second floor space is super cramped. Not sure how you would get out of there in a fire.

    The food was excellent but the service was so so. They rushed us and I saw another table move to the bar to finish their wine so their table could be used for the next guest. And it was extremely loud - to the point where it was hard to have a conversation.

    Very good, very tight spot but charming … food was excellent … they had a fig, goat cheese app that was fantastic… dinners were very good Osobuco and fruiti de mare … one of the better dinners we’ve had in the north end

    Absolutely amazing my wife and I went there for our anniversary. I don’t have anything bad about it. The food was awesome. We did the FARE UN VIAGGIO for the first time, and we will do it again when we go back. love the place!!!!

    When planning our trip to Boston, we were told not too miss eating Italian in the North End. We chose this restaurant from the reviews and it didn't disappoint! This is not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, but if you are looking for delicious food and a fun atmosphere, this is a great choice! The owner greets and seats guests and oversees everything. The servers are attentive and the atmosphere is energetic. We would definitely eat here again next time we visit Boston.

    First time here. Owner was very welcoming and involved with all the tables. Best meatballs in the city. So good I ordered another serving to bring home. Chicken parm was huge and was enough to serve two. Aperol Spritz was great. A+ will be back
