    My husband and I took friends to brunch there on Sunday. We were all very impressed with the food and service. They were both excellent. I highly recommend Cafe Atchafalaya and can’t wait to return!

    We sat outside here with my son and three of his friends from school for brunch. The food was really good, as well as the cocktails. In particular, shrimp and grits and crab cake were absolutely top notch. It couldn't have been more pleasant. We will be back to try dinner!

    A lovely and quiet fine dining restaurant with a casual vibe. All the staff were very polite and personable, our table had cute little stars for our anniversary along with a candles and it made it a great experience. Wonderful food and wonderful service.

    Definitely recommend the shrimp and grits and the panko crusted chicken breast with marscapone polenta, both were so flavorful. And the tres leches bread pudding was to die for!

    The live music was a lovely added feature of our meal. Our server was perfect. She emulated what table servers should be like. Kind, thoughtful, engaging, and attentive. I had the muffuletta and my daughter had the shrimp and grits. They were very good.

    This is a jewel in the crown of wonderful New Orleans neighborhood restaurants. Everything about it is perfect. A lovely, eclectic decor that is comfortable and makes you feel that you are in a perfectly special place... The food is creative and absolutely delicious. Have really had some memorable dishes there (do not pass up the Crabmeat Raviolo and the Blue Cheese flan... and yes, I know Blue Cheese Flan is off-putting.... but TRUST me when I say you will wish to order a second!) Service is professional, unobtrusive and relaxed... unhurried and allows the diner to really enjoy everything about the meal. Wine list is really thoughtful.... All in all it is a great place to enjoy an evening with cherished friends or loved ones. A pleasant departure from the hustle and bustle of the Quarter and CBD... in a quiet Uptown neighborhood. Just perfect.

    I’ve dined here many times, and every time it’s just such a lovely experience. The food is fantastic and the staff are always so accommodating and kind. My friend and I were even accompanied while walking to our vehicle afterwards, something we, as two young women, appreciated very much for our safety. Atchafalaya is truly a quintessential New Orleans experience, and is always where I take friends and family when they visit.

    The complimentary cornbread with honey butter was the highlight. Enjoyed the ambiance, but the Bloody Mary and Bywater Bloody didn't impress, and the Soft Shell Benedict had a fishy taste. Despite these, I'm keen to return and give it another shot. Would recommend for the experience!

    Got there early and had a drink at the bar. Bartender and host were genuinely nice. Ambience was great - was a little late so very quiet - nice lighting. Went for the Coolinary special but decided to order off the menu instead. The salads were great. The spaghetti was also very good (rich). Desert special was very good - not too sweet. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend!

    Wine tasting host from Second Line Wines spoke about each tasting as it was being served. Excellent food choices by Chef Christopher Lynch. This was a deliciously memorable evening. 1st Course: Pensacola Bay Tidal Guides Oysters with Hokkaido scallop, yuzu pearls, melon & NV Parasol Brut. 2nd Course: Grilled Greek Octopus with Calabrian chili, eggplant caponata, arugula, olives, crostini & L Acadiane Albariño. 3rd Course: Chargrilled Gulf Wahoo with fresh hearts of palm, heirloom cherry tomatoes, shaved onion, lemon balsamic & 2021 Seductive Sauvignon Blanc. 4th Course: Iberico Lomo, pan roasted pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, gorgonzola crema, smoked pecan gremolata & 2022 Romantic Rose. 5th Course: Wagyu Ribeye with brown butter potato purée, roasted baby carrots, smoked marrow butter & 2019 Big Chief Cabernet Sauvignon. 6th Course: Baked Brie du Pommier, crispy phyllo, stewed figs, candied rosemary, “Serenity” Syrah reduction & 2019 Serenity Syrah. Wait and bar staff excellent as always. Thank you to Rachel and Tony for making this an exceptional event!

    Creative, fresh, very tasty menu offerings. Service was excellent. Detailed explanations of the menu items were very helpful in deciding different items to try. We were very impressed with how they all worked as a team to monitor and respond to any need for refills or questions very quickly and smoothly. Even though we had a later reservation, we didn’t feel rushed at all. H.D. was great, Will definitely return.

    Fantastic food, have not had a mediocre meal there once (and never a bad dish). Ambiance is lovely. Perfect for brunch with family that you want to impress, a friend who needs to be treated, or romantic partner for lovey day date. Vibes are casual but elevated. The bywater bloody (green) is a MUST - CANNOT SKIP.
