We went there to celebrate my friend's birthday. When I made the reservation, I left a note saying that it is for my friends birthday. However, they did not even offer my friend a free dessert for his birthday. If you are not offering anything, why you have a section for special request on the reservation page? Moreover, we wait for 1 hour to get our entree!!! TBH, I don't really care about they did not offer any thing for my friend's birthday, but overall it was just not a great experience.
-excellent service from Leigha
-good food quality
Excellent service and good. The tomahawk steak was delicious.
A lovely place to celebrate any special occasion with very attentive servers. Food very good and tasty but on a pricey side.
A great place for a special night out. The sirloin steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked. Scallops were a dream and grilled vegetables had a lovely touch of smokiness to them. Overall very impressed! Looking forward to coming back.
Restaurant is really nice that was my first time i do like it the waitress was excellent
This was an anniversary celebration and our server Caroline was excellent definite 10 out of 10 for Caroline.
I recommend by friends. Food was excellent as well service. No hesitation to go back again. Thanks for surprised mimi birthday cake
Food was great but the service was even better! Sarah had a lot of good suggestions and was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come here again!
Went for their $29 Sunday Prime Rib night which was very good. We also ordered their Tomahawk pork chop (tasty) and several sides (blue cheese gnocchi, roasted vegetables and mushrooms - all good). The only thing that was average was their kids meal. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and a live piano player which was a nice touch. Most people were dressed casually. Our server was pleasant and cheerful. Overall a solid 4 out of 5 restaurant. Will go back to try their other items.
our server was pleasant and her service is professional.
Service and food was very good. We really enjoyed the meal and I brought my girl friend who had never been before. She enjoyed it as well.
Micheal and the staff were amazing. Everyone from the host to the manager checked on our experience. Would go back in a heart beat!
Excellent food and service.
Great steaks !! Brie mashed tastes like regular mashed potatoes, don’t pay extra for them. Other than that the food was very good! :)
The service was A+ and the prime rib was the best we have ever had.
For our 34th wedding anniversary we decided to dine and celebrate at Atlas Steak and Fish in our hotel.
Very attractive surroundings. Very busy on Saturday night.
Our reserved table could have been in a better spot- one of a long line of tables. Fortunately, no one was seated right beside us! We were able to enjoy our meals and have a comfortable conversation.
Our food choices were excellent- steak and salmon steak!
We were presented with a small but tasty dessert plate with "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate on the plate. Much appreciated!
Our appetizer was caesar salad made at our table. A fun idea but not too tasty! Would try another appetizer.
Our server was pleasant and efficient.
food was nice but I felt like they sounded fancier than they tasted. chicken was cooked slightly more than it should have been, and was almost on the dry side. the bread they served at the start was cold and not very good (not fresh and not really interesting), and while I thought the blue cheese butter that came with it was creative, about 1/3 of our group didn't like blue cheese and a plain or differently flavored butter was not offered.
I have the impression I won't hate anything I'm served, but that some dishes will be more skillfully prepared than others and I'm not sure what I'll get when I order.
We all enjoyed our food, though my meal (grilled salmon) was slightly more spicy/peppered than I would have preferred for my taste. We enjoyed the background music - the piano player. The service was good, although we had to wait a little longer than I would consider a reasonable amount of time for our meals. The server did apologize for the delay though.
Excellent service from all staff especially Michael. We enjoyed their friendliness and efficiency. They paid full attention during our dining experience. We enjoyed the pianist and would like to suggest that this be a regular feature. I would like to suggest that you also consider a classical guitarist now and then
The food of course was delicious and well presented.
We enjoyed the evening at Atlas. It was to be a meeting to discuss "business" items and really only the one booth - in a corner - was suitable. I had asked for a quiet booth on opentable but this request did not seem to be attended to as the initial offer was for a table right by the kitchen which would be about the busiest place in the restaurant. Too, the restaurant is a bit loud for talking but not as loud as some so I wouldn't be against returning on that point.
The food was well prepared and everyone enjoyed their meals. The charcuterie plate was appreciated with the garlic fried dough...
The service as excellent and attentative.
Great service and kids friendly restaurant. We ordered steak and my son loved it.
It was my 76th birthday and this was my choice for dinner. I had seen the facility prior when it was not open and appeared to be so very intimate and romantic - good reason to visit I thought! We arrived on time, the host showed us a table almost at the front entrance - not good, I requested at the back of the restaurant. He hesitated but did seat us back in the heart of the restaurant at a table for two. We were offered menus, drinks and friendly chatter.
We drank wine along with the MUSSELS which are absolutely awesome + the bread/bun was fresh from the oven! followed with (2) 6 oz beef tenderloins -they were truly soooooooooooo tender! accompanied by the roasted vegies - also amazing! We finished off with the cheese platter - the cheese selection was a little bit boring but definitely adequate amount served. Then I was brought a lovely variety of desserts on a plate designed with HAPPY BIRTHDAY - very nice touch!
Overall........we totally enjoyed the food and the service was certainly friendly.
Music - which wasn't live by the way - was not of the "fine dining" caliber
Noise level - not exactly the easiest to hear across the table - and I had my hearing aids on.
Am uncertain at this time whether I would return or not.
We were celebrating my sisters'd B-day, upon check in we were were seated immediately. We had a nice table were we could hear the piano player, which was perfect and not to loud. Our server Haley was knowledgeable, professional and fun! We started with the table-side Kale and Spinach salad that was so good, we would go back just for that! We had Lobster, Scallops, the roasted asparagus in which the Bearnaise sauce was so yummy! We finished with a nicely done Birthday dessert and a Vietnamese coffee parfait. I informed Haley that I worked in a Casino in Seattle and she gave me a full tour of the dining room with lots of enthusiasm and pride in her venue, she gave us the service that we expect our team members to provide, a true treat! We had no time constraints and never felt rushed for anything, I could see however that if you weren't looking for the full dining experience like we were, you might have a little bit of a longer dining experience than you bargained for, however it is fine dining and no one should want to get in and out in a rush. It was everything we were hoping for and absolutely met our expectations, when you decide to go, don't forget to ask for Haley, we loved her!
The food in general is good, the server we had was not great. It took her a while to greet us and we had to ask for water , kids menu for my two young children, cutlery, and one of the two kids meal was forgotten.
Had a terrific dinner and left with a great white sangria recipe that was promptly tried at home. Love the food and the staff is great. Will return very soon
The live piano music completed the night .... long weekend, family, drinks, delicious meal, baked Alaska and live music that spans 60’s to 2018 makes for a terrific night out :)
The steak was outstanding and even the non meat eaters enjoyed it. The fries were great with the parmesan cheese and truffle oil.
I would like to come again...
The food was good but not for that price. The service should have been much better.
Lovely and quiet atmosphere. Family oriented. Open kitchen. Modern decor and comfortable seating.
Quite possibly the worst service of any restaurant I’ve ever visited. Slow, inattentive and grossly uninterested server who never bothered to tell us why we were waiting so long at every turn. The manger tried to make up for it by offering a dessert, which was a nice gesture, but didn’t make up for the surly waiter or the mediocre food. Who refills water glasses and puts them back in random places nowhere near their owner? Tiny little lounge tables with too low chairs and high benches made it feel more like a lounge area you would order pitchers of beer and chicken wings. Overall, not a good experience.
The server was very caring, accomodating, attentive and knowledgable of food options. The food was great but took a long time to arrive. Unfortunately we were not able to eat the birthday cake we brought with us due to a new health authority regulation...(?) but overall it was a good experience.
AMAZING food! Service was a bit on the slow side and waitress wasn't very perky, but the food made up for everything else!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! This was our second time at Atlas, the first was for our anniversary and we just had to bring our friends back this time. The quality of the food is amazing. I would recommend the Seafood Mixed Grill, it is definitely my favourite and the tableside prepared salads and dessert are also wonderful.
On our first visit celebrating our anniversary / my job promotion our server brought us a "congratulations" dessert. On our second visit we were celebrating 2 birthdays, mine included, and at the end our server brought us little chocolates. Very thoughtful gestures to make you feel special.
The live pianist is great to listen to and the whole night was perfect.
In general it is ok for casual dining. Restaurant required more servers for better service to client. Beef tenderloin seemed to vary in quality
Celebrated friend’s birthday with delicious food and great service. Server made effort to help make the occasion special even by bringing out a little bday dessert with candle. Best seafood platter around!
My bouquets and brickbats for our meal
I didn't even eat any, just watched my dinner companions struggling with it - the baked Alaska comes coated in flaming marshmallow, not meringue, so if that's your idea of a what a baked Alaska isn't, you'll be best avoiding it.
But I must also mention that the complimentary plate of little cakes for the person we were celebrating was lovely, and this place makes the best darned Shirley Temple I ever had, and the amuse-bouche "chicken and truffles on a skewer" to start was amazing.
The heritage tomato salad was exquisite - I left the purple tomatoes until last because I love purple food - and they were so markedly unlike any tomato I ever ate (texture and flavour were just... off ) that I felt a little sad. However I hasten to add that whatever cultivar those seedless tomato slices (yellowy orange in colour) were from, they were the best tasting tomato I ever had so the salad was still a very positive nom, and the fresh basil and ricotta throughout balanced everything perfectly.
The bouillabaisse is an excellent value
Our server was a gem.
We went there based on some friends experiences and were very pleased. The food was exceptional--mixed seafood grill for 2 was the centre piece. Wine was reasonable and very diverse in choice. We all enjoyed the venue itself and the piano man was great.
Our waitress was amazing. Very friendly and attentive. She made us feel very welcomed and had great recommendations.
Service was great until things went bad! Took over 35 minutes between salad and meat course and our server was not seen again.. Managers handled it well so the night was not lost! First time in 5 visits that we have had bad service so we will go again and recommend as the food is amazing and great cocktails!
