It was my second time here & it was a great experience just like the first time. Food is great & service is amazing.
It is awesome for my brother birthday. A waitress who served us was so nice and professional
Outstanding service. Good value for the food (especially Prime Rib Sundays). I will definitely come back for the next special occasion.
So yummy. Our waiter was awesome.
He was so bubbly and always had a smile on his face. You can tell he enjoys his job.
very nice service and food.
we had a great time
Nice food and nice service, highly recommended. The prime rib and the baked Alaska were great.
My husband and I were delighted to receive a $100 gift card to Atlas Steak it was presented very well and the prime rib was melt-in-your-mouth! Absolutely no complaints about the quality or quantity of food. The food was 4+star! Just the service could have been a bit better as we arrived at 6 PM but didn't leave until 8 PM as we spent a lot of time waiting for our food. None-the-less we left an $18.00 tip because our waitress was great and made every effort to make us feel welcome and respond to us. Thank you Atlas Steak House for a wonderful evening!
Excellent service and great food. From the greeting to paying for the meal, everything was great. Knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed the pianist and the eclectic choices of songs. It made the birthday celebrated even better.
Great place except Bar Stools are very uncomfortable and no rail to rest feet on so not ideal to sit for dinner.
Most delicious, tender steaks I have ever had—aged to perfection! Charcuterie board is a creative and tasty work of a genius. My new favourite steak house.
Enjoyed lunch with a friend as Alas has now opened for lunch.
The spinach and smoked onion soup was excellent.
Cesar salad was lacking.Overall would return again
Absolutely wonderful dining experience. It was our 2 year anniversary and we couldn't have been happier with our dinner here. We originally had a reservation for Sunday night, but due to some maintenance issues, we decided to reschedule to Monday evening. They made sure to apologize for the inconvenience and offered some drinks on the house. Our server was attentive and explained our food choices thoroughly. My wife is expecting and we got solid recommendations. Our chicken and salmon dishes were fantastic and the service was consistently good throughout the evening.
We ended the night with the Alaska Flambe(?) dessert which was surprisingly delicious. The presentation was spot on too.
We're already excited for the next time we come to visit.
Attention to detail in the presentation was much appreciated. Torching the spring of rosemary on my wedge salad showed they understand the ambiance of food and dinner out — encompassing all your senses. Not normally a calamari guy but you offer it unbreaded and pan fried it is hard to pass up. Josper ovens impart that unique smoky wood flavour in the dishes that use it. The chicken for instance I am not hestitant to say was the BEST I’ve ever had.
Meanwhile my steak was cooked perfectly.
The server was great, food was fantastic, couldn't be more happier.
Fantastic. Me and my friend went for the first time.It was her birthday. Food was great, service very professional. We will definitely be back.
Such great service and food we really enjoyed ourselves! Bridget’s did a fabulous job serving us and I would request her in the future.
outstanding service and food, but the seating for two is a little bit cramped. It leaves room for a disaster, especially when your sitting so close to one another. Tables are a little bit to close to one another. No privacy to talk to one another. We had the seafood platter for two, one thing I would like to see is that we have a choice between drawn butter and garlic butter. I did not really like the drawn butter very much with the seafood. I would have preferred garlic butter. You need to give choices. Need a few changes, but otherwise we will return again and highly recommend it to friends and family.
went there for second times. We are treated with a gift card due to an unsatisfied first visit. The res
I would have given 5 stars but the last 2 stars was poor call back. I wanted to know if kids were allowed & left a message but finally got a call back 2 HOURS later. I think that's not acceptable when a hostess was at the front door most of the evening while l was dining there. If l wanted to call & make a reservation, would l have to wait 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks? I hope to hear back with a reasonable excuse.
I had an amazing time and our server was amazing.
Amazing steaks and exceptional service (Michael). Would go again. Great value for the quality of food.
Poor service, okay food - I’m never coming back to Atlas Steak + Fish ever again.
-Waitress was not attentive and had a poor attitude
-Spent most of my time waiting and trying to get my waitress’ attention, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy
-Overall, felt like our table was ignored during the entire dinner
This was my first time experiencing Atlas Steak + Fish, and it will definitely be my last. For the same price (or even less), I’d rather take my family to The Keg or Cactus Club, where I’d receive much better service and get treated like a customer.
We had a wonderful experience! Dinner was amazing, and our servers, Bridgette and Richard were great! They made us feel special for our anniversary , and we cannot wait to go back!
Service was awesome, and live performance of soft piano music was perfect for a quiet dinner.
Food was just so-so. The five-spice duck was under seasoned and quite tough to chew on, even though the waitress highly recommended it. The tuna steak was too thick and under seasoned as well. But the seafood grill for two was quite good. Desserts (Vietnamese coffee dessert, and the frozen trio) were okay too.
The food and the service were awful. No bread or anything offered at the beginning. Waitress took the order and after that never saw her again. All though she seems attentive to other tables. Don't believe we insulted her. Even asked the manager if we were being unpleasant some how. Manager stopped by to top up our wine. Dinner took a long time to come out. Steak was tough and not cooked properly. Tuna was so well done I could have used it for shoe leather. Had to flag the assistant manager over to explain the Tuna was not edible. They replaced it and didn't charge for it but the second one was actually ice cold in the middle. Better that then over done. Everything is an extra. Way over priced for the quality and the food was just bad. Would never go back or recommend it to anyone. Had to wave the assistant manager over again so we could get the bill. Took our name and said the Manager would reach out to us. Never did. They don't seem to know how to prepare fish or steak for a Fish and steak restaurant
Got seated first the first 10 mins, our server did not come to greet us nor brought us water. When she finally came over, she was not very friendly. Ordered the Tomahawk steak and some starters. We did not get any bread and had to ask before bread was brought over in a skillet (which you would assume to be warm), but it was cold. The scallop and truffle fries was ok although the drizzling of the cheese sauce on the fries looks kinda cheap. Finally the steak came. Cooked to perfection. However, it was boardline cold. The flavour was there, just seems like they cut it up and left it on the counter for a long time before they served it to us. Ended dinner with the Baked Alaska Cake, which came out pretty but was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall food was okay if it came out hot, just not enough server and service was really not that great.
Very much enjoyed our evening. The service was great, and the piano player fantastic!!
Delicious platters for sharing! Great charcuterie board and amazing grilled seafood platter. Awesome live piano music as well!
Brigitte was amazing
Great atmosphere, food and service was great! Our server Brigette was absolutely fabulous!
Manager was tentive, Taste was good, Food was not hot , service can be better.
Great place for steak or seafood! Caesar Salads made at your table. Flambe desserts , delicious and entertaining.
We waited 2 hours for our meal to arrive.
The portion is fairly small for the value.
The steak we ordered was supposed to be medium rare, but came out medium well (very little pink). That aside, the flavour was good.
The salmon was so undercooked that it was the waiter that noted it and brought it back to the kitchen.
The dessert we tried was the cheesecake, which was tasty and reimbursed for how long our meal took.
The service was very polite though, so I do feel bad to leave a less than stellar review.
There are definitely no child meals. We anticipated it and did not factor that into this review. It's just an FYI for anyone else interested.
Good staff who went out of their way to help me with my dietary needs. The prawns in the prawn cocktail were really excellent and the steak just as good. Would certainly visit again but not cheap
Food was good. But I could have done without the tiny crackers and braised beef amuse bouche, made the steakhouse look cheap, crusty tiny cracker bread and very dry braised beef felt more like chef was just trying to use up some beef sitting around. If your gonna do an amuse bouche make it memorable, its supposed to set the guest up for an amazing experience instead this fell flat. Our waitress Leigha on the other hand was amazing she gets a 10 outta 10... Excellent service and very professional yet personable. Always there when you need her.
Our server Julie was amazing! She was super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and told us about the Josper oven which makes this restaurant unique. She went above and beyond to make our experience and unforgettable one. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed the sounds of a pianist during our meal. It really did add to the ambiance. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
On Friday they have a wonderful piano player.
Had an amazing experience for our 20th anniversary. Great service from our waitress. Food was good - Blue cheese gnocchi was my favourite. Bread was complimentary with mild blue cheese butter...it was fluffy and yummy! How often in one place, four random couple have the same day Aug 22 anniversary sitting next to each other! Coincidences?
Service was amazing. Ran into 3 other couples with same anniversary
Never disappoints! Excellent service, taste, and ambiance. This wasn't my first time here and won't be my last. They added cherries jubilee to the dessert menu recently, you need to try it - they make it right in front of you, big flames and all.
