It was thanksgiving so I understand to a degree. The waiter checked on us maybe twice, forgot our beverages more than twice and the food was sometimes cold.

This was our first time trying the Thanksgiving buffet at Aurora. The food was fine. But, the service was disappointing. We had early afternoon reservations and there didn't seem to be an overwhelming number of customers. However, our server was not very good. We were seated without much comment from the receptionist. We then waited about 10 minutes without any interaction from any wait staff or leadership. I finally found and asked a server to bring us water/other refreshment options. Even after she asked another waiter to handle our table it took another few minutes before he approached our table and simply asked "Do you want something to drink?". No, greeting, no review of available options. After that we had to call to him to have any other service. The maintenance of the buffet tables of cheeses, fruits, etc was poor. Food was spilled around the dishes. The dishes of various dips, sauces and hummus were not labelled. So, you had to guess what each was. The staffed tables with hot dishes were well handled. All the food we tasted was very good. So, thankfully, this was the best aspect of the buffet. Overall, this was not the enjoyable experience we expected. Hopefully, ours was the exception. We've had good recommendations for Aurora which led us to selecting them for Thanksgiving. We will try Aurora for a normal dinner before making a final decision on further recommendations. But, I do not expect to try it again for Thanksgiving.

Such delays in simply getting drinks is unacceptable, and so is the lack of friendliness and personalized service. From the missing labels to the rushed and inattentive service, this is not in line with the high standards we hold for our establishment. Making reservations at Open Table was incredibly easy. The Thanksgiving feast at the Aurora was, as always, delicious. It's well worth the money. The food is incredibly varied and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend the Aurora especially during the holidays. It's also excellent for any other time of the year!

The food was very very good. But wait staff wouldn’t even fill our glasses with water until I asked three times, each and every time (!) that I needed refill and they would only fill 1/2 a cup - of just water! They were quick to remove plates, but how do you enjoy the food with nothing to drink? I won’t go back, not worth $115 per person to deal with being blatantly ignored then the bill had a 20% tip applied for poor service. But the food was great.

We have came her for restaurant week and magic dining before and got blown away both times. However, the thanksgiving buffet was a disaster. Service is lacking and the food was mediocre at best. Won’t come for buffet anymore.

OUTSTANDING! Chef Ibis Lopez and his team provided a sumptuous Thanksgiving feast with world class service! Can i just take a moment to rave about Miss Melody. She is the gold standard when it comes to fine dining experience. From start to finish the way the table was setup, her approach, her demeanor and delivery all aligned with giving any guest the experience they would travel and dine for. That’s the only server I want from now on. If she’s not there I’m not there lol. The whole snapper for 2 was a mouth watering sensation. The Neptune cocktail needs an award. The wine was a heavenly touch to my lady and seeing her happy makes me happy. Whatever we can do to bring more attention to this gem just let us know. We may look like travelers but we moved here at the inception of your establishment…so basically makes us family.

Hi we had breakfast while staying for parents weekend. Menu is very traditional. Nothing special or unique just basic offerings. Food was hot and service good. Recommend servers come around with coffee or offer refills as we did not see our server until end of meal when we flagged her down for refill. Pleasant breakfast and convenient on game days.

The valet staff and hostesses were very welcoming. Our server, Blue, was fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food and drink offerings. The Magical Dining menu was exceptional (and was our favorite of the 3 restaurants we tried this year). We look forward to returning to try more of their dinner menu. We really enjoyed the food. The plates were quite complex. It was important to include everything together with each bite. The desserts were delicious and were beautifully presented. The deconstructed coconut custard pie was our favorite.

I ate at Aurora two weeks ago for magical dining and raved about it. Last night I took two friends there who have never been. I was excited. But my excitement didn’t last long. Our meal took almost three hours from start to finish. Way too ling. Almost 45 minutes before we got our appetizer. Service personnel were overwhelmed. I was very disappointed

This is a loud restaurant - the floors are tile and the atmosphere is more cafe-like. It was hard to hold a conversation. I believed the night we went they were truly short staffed. It took over 35 minutes for our appetizer, then a total of 2 hours when we had to ask for our check so we could leave. We went for Magical Dining. The food was great (though the steak was fatty and tough). The strawberry sorbet was phenomenal as we the ceviche. We probably will not be back.

Diver scallops were outstanding. Steak was overcooked and cool, not cold but great presentation on both entrees. Desserts were delightful and I highly recommend paying the upcharge for the supernova. Ceviche was on the bland side and Caesar salad was good. Service was attentive and well paced.

Celebrated our 11 year anniversary and decided to try something new........Aurora did not disappoint!!! The hostess' were wonderful! Our waiter, Blue, was more than amazing. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable of the entire menu, very accommodating. And the meal!!!!! Oh my!!! If you've ever watched a cooking show on TV and seen the presentations that blow your mind, then the judges taste their food and their faces reflect just how wonderful that bite is...... We booked this place for magical dining, at first when we saw that it was by UCF we regretted it, we thought this place was going to be run by students lol. But Thank God we stuck with it. We were a group of 4 with also a baby girl, our server was Blue, he was real cool and easy to get along with. He made great recommendations. The apps was great I got the ceviche, but the entrees omg I told Blue to thank the chef for us because that food was amazing. I have tried some of the best steak houses in Orlando and Chicago and Boston, but that was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The star of the show was the chicken, my boyfriend ordered it but I ate most of it lol. I wanted a chicken plate to go. We cleaned all our plates. The desserts took an hour to arrive, but blue kept assuring us that they will be coming and “sorry for the wait.” The desserts was also great, the beignets was my favorite but I also had my boyfriends coconut one 10/10. Everything was great the food, service and the ambience of the place. I will be telling all my friends and co-workers to check it out and if it’s on the list for magical dining next year, I will be back.

We went for magical dining. I got the magical finger menu and my friend ordered off the regular menu. My hanger steak with peppercorn sauce (which I had put on the side) was delicious as were all the accompaniments Everything was great. Our server Danielle was wonderful and knowledgeable about the menu. I’ll be going back even when magical dining ends
