   Birthday party There was an issue with our reservation but the manager and the staff stepped up immediately to ensure that the matter was handled immediately. The French fry basket is a must! Great variety of foods

   Food okay; would be nice for it to have just some regular Tex-Mex tacos instead of just the fancy gourmet ones, especially since it's the only restaurant in the hotel open all day. Basically, Hilton needs just a "regular" hotel restaurant as the other restaurant is only opened in the evening and has a very limited menu.

    Person taking order was not very friendly. They didnt even ask if we like anything else and just gave us the check. We had to ask them for menu again. And when we ask for an item on menu , they said they are out of that( restaurant had opened just few mins before that)

    Food was avg at best. Service… they may need to focus on their customers more. Be open to corrections- daughter ordered her breakfast specifically; waitress did not write it down. Chef was noticeably upset it was sent back. (She’s allergic to coconut and JT had coconut shavings)

    great service and relaxed atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation and hear one another. We ate tacos, queso dip, and drank margaritas for lunch one day. another day we had breakfast tacos and a breakfast burrito. everything was delicious.

    Being able to sit outside and listen to live music was such a bonus. The food was delicious. Drove from Waco to listen to Graham Nancarrow. I would suggest staff could have more training. A few food handling miscues.

    The menu listed on open table is not the menu available at the restaurant. We were there for about 2 hours, were never asked if we’d like to order more drinks after the first round. Food was extremely slow, but with a lot of restaurants being short staffed we assumed that was the issue. Then we noticed other tables who came in after us were finishing their meals before we even got ours. When someone finally came to check on us we asked about our food, turns out they never put our order in. Maybe it was an off night, but we won’t be going back to see.

    Wasn’t very busy. Ordered my food. 40 minutes goes by, was never checked on and fid not get my order. The waiter finally noticed. He walked by an sets down my tacos and leaves. Guess what, it’s not even my order. To be honest, I could not tell you how the food is and I will mot be back.

    Well, we had a lot of fun, in spite of some hiccups. We had two families of four with kids in high school for a couple of hours of relaxation and playing on a Saturday afternoon. The game play was fun, the food was good and the physical atmosphere of the bar/restaurant was pleasant. The reservation system didn't work - I reserved from the website and when we got there, we were told that we ONLY reserved for food, not the game site. Very odd, since I was on the game site room reservation page when I was logged in, but fortunately there wasn't a reservation in the time slot right after ours, so we got to play. I did find that weird because while I was searching for a reservation to book a room, the site told me there was nothing within 2 hours of my requested time, so we booked earlier that we wanted to... The host was very gracious and nice. The bar staff, not so much. We ordered appetizers and drinks for 8 (which isn't cheap). When our food came, we received no napkins and there aren't any available for guests to self-serve, so we asked for napkins and the guy actually says "why?". What? I had to explain that we ordered apps for 8 people and wanted napkins.....and he acted like he was being put out to get them. Not cool. When we were ushered into the gaming suite, we were given VERY minimal instructions on how to make the games operate. We figured it out and had fun, but there are probably some tricks that we needed to know on how to make the best of the games sensors....and no one bothered to help with that. I even asked (the same guy) the attendant if there were tips and he literally said "I probably know some" and then walked out.... Fortunately, we were there just to have fun, but we spent a lot of money on the rental and then more on drinks and apps and what was a good experience could have been soooo much better.

    The service was very slow - but, maybe they were understaffed. Pork tacos were so salty I could barely get one down. Another person's food came out wrong - twice. Manager was great.

    We were greeted very cordially by the host (Hope, Leslie, Germaine) each day at breakfast. We had excellent service from Heather and Aden. We appreciate chef Roy for his excellent food preparation. We enjoyed our experience at the Austin Taco Project.

    The food was great unfortunately our server was impressively slow and forgetful. We received our appetizer last and received the bottom of the bag chip all broken for queso. Could be a cool place but the service makes it hard to come back.

    We were so excited to have dinner there for our special occasion…. Unfortunately it wasn’t worth the $100 we spent there. We couldn’t finish our dinner, the meat tasted like cubes of salt, not meat. We had to go eat somewhere else after. We did mention it to the waitress and she said “oh yeah, people have been saying the meats too salty…” and that was it. It was soooooo disappointing. Such a waste of money.

    Seemed like the server never put in our order. Waiting 50 mins for tacos and when they finally came, came out two orders at a time when there was 6 people. Ran out of ice tea. Seemed like the server didn’t want to be there.

    Bad service or they were completely understaffed. Not sure. And for some weird reason they hardly give you any ice in your drink. It’s 100 degrees outside. Can I please have a cold beverage?

    Overall it was really overpriced and they were really understaffed. We had to send a drink back which I’ve never done before because it was just too nasty. They didn’t have any of their specialty cocktails and they charged us for a more expensive drink than we originally ordered even though we had to send it back.

    I made a reservation here for my birthday, only to drive 45 minutes, pay for parking, and find the restaurant closed. I've contacted the restaurant and in 3 days no one has gotten back to me. I do appreciate the apology from OpenTable, but apparently it's a communication issue on both parties and I wish the restaurant would respond and "throw me a bone." My group had to eat at a crappy place nearby where there wasn't a wait, because we had another thing to get to at 8pm.

    Terrible service. We had a reservation fir lunch, there were at least five open tables, and yet the hostess could not bring herself to seat us. We waited for about 10 minutes while she walked the room aimlessly and then ultimately sat us at one of the empty tables. We had similar odd experience with the waitress. Took her over 10 minutes to even greet us, we had to ask multiple times for things, and she did not seem to want to be there at all. When it came time to pay, she dropped the bill and took off before I could hand get my credit card. After almost 10 minutes passed and she was nowhere to be found, we asked the hostess if she could find her. She replied test she was “checking out” someone else. When the hostess finally retrieved the waitress, the waitress took my credit card, handed to the hostess and said, “can you take care of this”? Okay… Food: mediocre at best, no vegan options, which is surprising in a restaurant in Austin. Not hard to create one vegan option with tacos.
