   The minestrone was excellent but really miss Nona’s chicken soup! Caesar was crisp and generous. Tomato Caprese good maybe a little early for fresh tomatoes in Texas. Service was excellent. Might dim the lights in the booths a bit for better atmosphere. We are regulars and love that there is a neighborhood restaurant we enjoy so much.

   It is amazing how the quality of this place is deteriorating quikly.... use to be a good option but now became is a pretensious place with mediocre food. This is an italian restaurant, and my pasta (fetuccini Alfredo) was undercook and worst, not evenly cooked. We also ordered the Branzino which use to be the best....and they changed the recipe so now not as it use to. I suspect they changed the chef or, worst, are trying to reduce costs.... I recognize they have good servers working there, our waiter (Luis) was attentive and gave us wonderful attention.... I'm taking this out from my list on the neighbordhood for now. Same happended with Via Emilia, sad...

   We always enjoy the wonderful food at Avantis plus the service is great! We had a lovely young lady as our waitperson. Her name is Ariana. She is delightful and so attentive. She definitely made our experience more special and pleasant.

   Lovely environment, quiet and cozy, perfect for a “catch up” dinner with friends. The cioppino, pasta with clam sauce and branzino were all great. Service was excellent.

   Stale focaccia. Curious cannoli filling (not mascarpone). Chicken parmigiana dangerously not well cooked (pink ?? Inside). Waiter super awkward. Not a good experience.

    Very good service by JT! The pappardelle with bolognese was excellent! The chicken parmesan very good. Wine flights are fun. It was nearly perfect but the music was much too loud for the three tables of early diners. Quiet, more classical music would have been great — or classic Italian music.

    We eat here quite often. that’s why we picked Avanti to celebrate valentines this year. Unfortunately Avanti made a decision to present a limited set menu, they also put a time limit on each table and rushed us through each course. In fact we received a call prior to arrival letting us know there would be booking right behind us. Options were not anything we would have picked and would not pick again. We have no plan to choose Avanti for valentines again unless in future they just consider it business as usual, then it would be perfect as usual.

    Enjoyed an early Valentines dinner with the wife, good service, excellent food and atmosphere. Our dinner consisted of Arranchini and carpaccio appetizer and the fantastic Chicken Avanti. Desert sampler was phenomenal, order one of everything…. Can’t go wrong

    We very much enjoyed our dinner at Avanti. Our waiter was attentive and efficient. Our drinks were good, and our meal was fresh and expertly prepared. We declined dessert, but it looked very appealing. My only reservation was that we had to ask for bread...most Italian restaurants bring it immediately when you are seated. When it arrived, it was fresh and delicious, but we did have to request it. Overall, we totally enjoyed our meal at Avanti Creekside.

    When impeccable service meets exquisite italian, Avanti it is! From the drinks to the salad, main course and dessert each dish is wonderfully crafted and enjoyed with each bite. The waitstaff was very attentive and did a great job. I highly recommend dining here.

    The restaurant was very nice, at the staff was helpful and courteous and the whole place had a nice feel. We went for brunch and were not impressed. The french toast was undercooked, the pancakes were thin and the drinks were just meh.

    Food was great but our service was slow. Our poor waiter had our table and additional tables outside! He was running ragged trying to keep up! We still tipped him $100.00! Management should look at tables better when scheduling wait staff better!

    Avanti’s is one of our ultimate favorite places. Food is ALWAYS excellent and service is very attentive. Managers always come by to check in you but not in a bland “how are things “ kinda way. Very personable and genuinely caring way. Drinks are always incredible. Ultimate fav app is the smoked barata with prosciutto! Yumm. I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner, girls night or friends get together. Great GREAT place.

    The dining at Avanti Italian Kitchen was consistent with eating high line meals in Texas. Here cooks have no flair for the culinary arts. It’s as if no one has a TV. A simple browsing through the food channels would give a chef enough techniques to deliver a competent Italian meal in less than a week. Instead, cooks simply slather things with bad oil and fry delicacies to the point where you could use the product as a foundation for a skyscraper. In fact, the experience was so disconcerting that my culinary future in the great state of Texas is clear. I’ll just have to rattle pots and pans for myself on every occasion. As for the choices of wine…? Is it the humidity that causes the sommelier stumble over simple and simply delicious choices? Or is it plain old profit that leaves the patron with C grade liquid in the glass? There will be no return to Avanti Italian Kitchen for me.

    Avanti is always a good spot for a dinner with the family, a date, or a nice occasion. Their food and drink menu is top-tier. The price tag is also top-tier but usually worth the cost. I’ve been here multiple times and yet to have a less than stellar experience. I will say however that the smoked buffalo mozzarella starter is not for the faint of heart. It is very smoky so be sure that’s what you want. If not, opt for caprese salad. I’d also suggest adding a soft cheese to the charcuterie board since currently it’s mostly hard and semi-soft machego, etc. Brie or mozz are both good options and can’t go wrong :)

    The atmosphere was nice, our waitress was very good and our wine was great. Our disappointment was the food. We all three ordered a seafood dish . Once we started eating we knew the seafood was not fresh. Very disappointed.
