   Amazing experience! We went for the 4 course chef’s choice and it was fabulous. We were served items we would have never chosen off the menu on our own. The bartender also created 2 delicious mocktails (not on menu) for me! We had the best birthday celebration!

   Service was excellent - not slow and no rush. A little noisy at times, but to be expected with the open kitchen. Steaks were excellent as was the dessert. Marked down rating for the broccoli side (bland, cold, uninspired béarnaise sauce). Should have gone with the Brussel sprouts instead.

    Food was delicious, and ambiance really took you away. Felt I was in a restaurant in a much bigger city! Will frequent this place more often and will refer people here in a heartbeat!     Did the chefs tasting. Loved not having to make a choice on what to eat. Every course was a pleasant surprise. Server was friendly and extremely helpful. Made some great recommendations for drinks. We will be back for sure!!

    Started with mint condition cocktails which were so delicious. Our server was super helpful with the new menu and helping us decide between the amazing options. The agnolotti and seafood pasta were top tier, and the server made wine recommendations that complimented perfectly.

    If you're expecting the prepared dishes at Avenue to taste like anything more than their list of ingredients, then you're expecting too much. At Avenue, ingredients don't mingle or morph into new or interesting flavours, but instead stubbornly retain only their original notes. Avenue is remarkable for its impossible ability to present dishes that are no more interesting than a text of a grocery list in a group chat. The surprise here is that there are no surprises.

    Everything was spot on. From quick seating to exquisite service to delicious. Our server Sophie's knowledge of the menu allowed for a substitution for a vegetarian option that was greatly appreciated.

    Incredible ambiance. Having worked in the industry, it’s always nice to see the top-tier chefs & professional servers elevate the experience from any other locale in the city with the open concept. Food was absolutely stellar. I’d consider just doing the snack & small plate menus next time as the large plates menu was 60% beef, which didn’t interest us. My feature trout was cooked to perfection. My wife’s feature cocktail was crisp, refreshing and original. Our server, Jada-Rae was an all-star. She recited features as though she had known them for years. Service was prompt but not rushed in any fashion. We never went thirsty or hungry. She’s got a knack for fine-dining service.

    I had the fish special. It was very tasty and flavourful. I was a bit disappointed the fish didn’t have much to accompany it. Just 2 baby potatoes that were cut into quarters. Other than that, I would recommend that dish. The chicken wings are amazing!
