Excellent as always
Server excellent. My Walleye dinner was cold. That fish should be hot. Maybe less hooting and howling behind the counter would get the food out better. Noise level terrible. Put something to block some of the noise on the ceiling.
I read a story on MSN about MacLean's magazine's top 100 restaurants in Canada. In checking out the list, I found that only 1 place in Saskatchewan made the list and it was Avenue at #66. I decided to take my wife there for her birthday and it was everything that I would have expected. The service was great, food was phenomenal, and the ambiance was exquisite. You don't get monstrous amounts of food, but you absolutely get enough to satisfy your hunger and they focus on taste which they nailed it. Yes, the price is higher than your everyday Boston Pizza, but for fine dining they are well within the range of other similar establishments. I will definitely go back there again.
the restaurant was too noisy and was difficult to talk with others at the table.
First time for lunch and left disappointed with the lunch rush walleye tacos. There were two small pieces of fish deep fried to a crisp. Just a little bit of lettuce and the aioli was bland. Three of us had the tacos and all the same. I’d been talking up the restaurant as I’ve been to dinner several times and always delicious. I won’t be back for lunch.
I booked a table for myself and three business partners. We all really enjoyed the food (Daily Lunch Special). The service was great. I've now been a few times for lunch meetings and never been disappointed. I'll for sure be back again.
The drinks and food were amazing! I can't make those things at home. A bit pricey but worth it.
Excellent food and good service. The noise lever for the most part was on the high side making conversation a bit difficult at times. We were a table beside a window (nice) and near a passageway leading to the back which through which we could feel a coolish draught.
All was great except it seemed a bit difficult to hear one another, but wouldn’t stop me from coming back.
Great food. A pricey night out but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend it. Nice to have a gourmet restaurant in Regina
Loved the food & service. The noise level was however high. Felt we had to raise our voices to have a conversation at our table of four 😕
We had wonderful service for our anniversary they paid attention to our needs. The brussel sprouts were a special add on and became our favourite bites. The food was cooked with much attention. I definitely recommend them for a special evening out.
I always enjoy my business lunches at the Avenue. Excellent service and a wonderful meal...by far one of the best restaurants in the city.
Fabulous service and delicious food
Lovely space, great service. Excellent cocktails. Had the scallops and the pork, which were good
I’ve been to avenue many times and decided to try something new so I had the fish tacos. They were nothing special, not a lot of taste as well the walleye was very fishy tasting, which is not normal for walleye. Presentation was very poor compared to your other menu items. Would not recommend them to anyone. Avenue is a great place to eat, this must have been just a one off.
I didn’t understand why we I had to pay a fee for cutting my cake. The food on the other hand was nice but the wings were too salty
Our server was highly knowledgeable about the gluten free options! It was an excellent experience and will definitely return.
Dinner and Kinky Boots. Great time!
Best restaurant in Regina, at least that I’ve been to. Great attention to service and detail. Beware it’s busy!!’n
We really enjoyed Avenue. The food was amazing. In fact, we couldn't decide... so we just kept ordering main dinners to share. Try the soft shell Crab, and the perogies! I walked around.. if I go back I will ask for a table near the bar, the atmosphere is better there then where we sat. It can get noisy... but it is a must to try!
Fantastic meal and dessert was even better!
Always a great dining experience. I always value the knowledge of the servers. Love the cocktails! Terrific experience.
The good was superb. Expensive. But the overall experience was worth for the occasional splurge and indulgence.
Amazing cocktails and our food was just perfect. My only complaint would be that the service was a bit off ...We received our mains and then had to wait quite a while for our bottle of wine to arrive and be opened and served, as our mains cooled off. Just a case of poor timing between the bar and kitchen staff.
We were celebrating birthdays and we had a great evening! The food was excellent and so was the service. We brought people that had never been there before and we all are looking forward to going back!
Food was delicious and beautifully presented but on the expensive end. Nice drink options.
Tables were very close together so not all that intimate... able to hear everyones conversations.
Excellent restaurant with great food and great service. They menu changed in the few months since I was there last so the keep things fresh!
It was as billed! Perfect spot at the right time after traveling into Regina. Thank you!
Very good house made items with lots of flavour and great presentation
Great food. Great service.
Fantastic food, everything we tried, we all loved! The service was exceptional, very attentive and accommodating. Parking is a bit difficult as the location is downtown, but can easily be overlooked for the quality of food and service at this restaurant. Will definitely be dining here again!
The appetizer shrimp were a little too pub food like but the rest of the meal was spectacular.
Our 2nd time there and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We ordered the walleye and hamburger as our mains, and the scallops as a starter. The scallops were good, but just a bit overcooked, the walleye was absolutely fabulous and would order it again. The burger was okay, nothing to write home about. Overall, we enjoyed our evening at Avenue and will go back again.
Nicest meal I have had in Regina in quite some time. Service was phenomenal!!!
Delicious food but VERY small portions for the price.
Food was great. So much flavour. Wait staff was great at providing recommendations on food and wine
We were incredibly disappointed to see that the Brussel sprout salad was taken off the menu...it was the reason we came 😔.
First time visit. I found the service good, food was ok but a little pricey.
Avenue is still the best restaurant in Regina BUT they took the trout gravlax off the menu. The trout gravlax was their best dish. Also the risotto was a bit too salty this time as were the perogies. The new soft shell crab was outstanding as were the scallops and the pork belly. New Sundae was also excellent.
