    Excellent service, à bit pricy, had the calamari as an entree (very good), main plate was the kebab (found that it was very bland)

    The music should not be played loudly at 6:30 pm. You cannot have a normal conversation at your table and as a result it ruins the entire experience. Food and service are great.

    Good food with unique taste but portions are small relative to the cost. Desert was heavenly specially the pistachio ice cream and tahini ice cream.. cocktail was very nice — had pistachio sour.. Waitresses are courteous and friendly but it took time to get drinks from the bar and food from the kitchen.ً Different people came to the table out of nowhere, offered wine consult and the other acted as the dessert menu.. there was no actual dessert menu. Over all it was a good experience but if we didn’t have the appetizer, drink and the dessert I would have gone home hungry.

    We enjoyed our meal. We have eaten a lot of hummus at a lot of different restaurants and we both agreed this was the best we had. The cocktails were also delicious. The cretan salad was good but very rich/salty so even while sharing it, we opted to take the leftover to go as it was too much to eat at once. Good service as well.

    It was an anniversary dinner, and a friend had paid for 2 glasses of champagne as a surprise. We never got them. Also, my wife's dinner arrived almost 10 minutes after mine. They think someone else got her dinner by accident. The food was delicious, and the service otherwise was great

    Our App were amazing - Cauliflower, eggplant and salmon. The beef was a little bland it needed seasoning, otherwise it was a five starts. Plus the wine the sommelier selected was delicious!!

    First time at Ayla. The food was very tasty, the lamb chops were excellent, Branzino very good. For appetizers we had a nice chopped salad, the grilled Octopus ( over priced, small portion and average) and the pita with dips which was good. We sat on terrace nice vibe with the music. Service was a bit slow but our server was very nice. Only thumbs down was the drink pour which was very weak. The top restaurants I eat at always give a nice generous hand pour which was not the case at Ayla. I can’t stand when a restaurant of this caliber gives u a 1.5 ounce drink which is gone in a few sips. This on its own is a reason not to return.

    The restaurant is small and cozy, terrasse is definitely a must, overlooking the condo pool. Initial service was great, attentive waiters but less as the evening wet on. Food quality is great, but portions are very very small, don’t go there hungry! Its a tasting menu! Highly priced

    Second time coming to this resto. First time was phenomenal, this second time was not so much. Service was great in the beginning, but then wavered as the evening went on and ‘important’ people arrived, it seemed we were left to the wayside (had to ask for water?), and quite frankly, ignored. Food was delicious!

    We sat at the bar loved our bartender server Amanda she was the absolute best The food was bland, over processed somewhat exaggerated Won’t be going back Mezza salad and octopus was very good But not enough to go back

    The food and the service was great.Unfortunately we ordered a bottle of wind they were out of it.The wine they recommended was excellent but there was a fruit fly in my glass of wine.The sommelier offered to take the fly out with a spoon.No offer to replace the wine.I had to request a new clean glass and more wine from our bottle.No offer to replace the bottle.Not withstanding my gf and myself had a great evening.

    Food was good but everything ended up with the same charred taste. Service was controlled and they pushed too much food on us. At the end of the day it was about making sure the table made enough money for them not our enjoyment. For this I would not go back. Restaurants seem to forget we can cook very well at home and we go out for the enjoyment. When this is missing there is no reason to attend.

    Great discovery not far from the Arsenal. New resto that opened during the pandemic. Beautifully cooked food and beautifully presented. Quality stemware and plates. Nice lighting, cool chairs and tables. Obvious care taken with the design and space. Good and friendly service. A little pricey but worth it for the overall experience. Very nice meal. The kitchen knows what it is doing. Will go back.

    Food was excellent - we enjoyed all courses. Great balance of flavours and nicely executed. Cocktails were also very good. The kitchen was a bit slow but the service and communication from our waiter was very good. We will definitely return.

    The food was excellent as usual. Ayla serves the most amazing Middle Eastern food in town . The service was very good . Servants and managers were doing their best. But it was not a good New Year’s Eve experience. First we had to wait forever to get seated despite a reservation. The noise level was too high we couldn’t enjoy our conversation . They started distributing party blowers very late and the bubbly that was part of the deal was half a glass Prosecco. And most importantly if it wasn’t for the people next to us who started shouting the countdown to 2023 we would have missed the most important tradition of the New Year’s Eve. The restaurant should have initiated the countdown. Ayla opened during the pandemic and This is their first NYE event so hopefully they will improve in organizing these kinds of evenings!

    Superb Mediterranean Cuisine. Open, friendly setting, with abundant staff- all who know how to serve and are very energetic. Have the Eggplant as it is delicious upon delicious. It’s suggested that the portions are ‘tapas style’ - don’t believe it. All the plates are large portions even to share. Enjoyed the hell out of this wonderful Montréal restaurant.
