Los aperitivos son exquisitos!!!! La experiencia es buenísima, la única área para mejorar quizás es colocar abanicos adicionales por el calor. Other than that, el lugar es Perfecto y la comida deliciosa 🤍

We have been wanting to eat here for a very long time. We went yesterday to celebrate our birthdays, which I had selected when did reservation. No acknowledgement about it. We ordered 4 plates -Empanadillas -Albóndiga -Chuletitas -sliders The sliders were ok, the empanadillas were good. But the albóndigas were disgusting. Tasted like detergent. The chuletas the only taste was the breading and they were tough…. Not a good experience to what they charge. Not going here ever again.

Being a 26 year old female, the bouncer made me and my friend feel very nervous and unsafe. After we got to the top we loved our experience. The security guard out front didn’t need to be a dick.

Super impressed with the culinary approach, menu, mixology/ cocktails and service at Azotea, Santaella on our last night spent in SJ. The overall atmosphere and outdoor ambiance of the rooftop was outstanding, admist being right in the center of La Placita/ around loud music. The empanaditas & croquettas were some of our favorites!!

Terrible experience. Food was mediocre at best and prices were more expensive than NYC. Awful, unfriendly service. Took forever to take our order, and the server forgot to put in my friend's entree order. Acted like it was our fault and charged full price for the forgotten order, and we had to get into an argument for him to take it off our bill. Will never return here. Total ripoff.

Absolutely best meal in Puerto Rico. The food gras bites are best I’ve had on three continents. Truly. The drinks were creative and properly balanced. Steak was cooked to perfection. We took our 12 year old son and he enjoyed everything. However, it’s a bit of a scene and would not suggest bringing children after 6pm.

We had ordered from Santella during the pandemic and the food was fantastic. Finally booked a reservation for a Sunday to get out with family and try something new with the rooftop restaurant. Fantastic! Definitely will come back again for a special occasion.

Wanted to be wowed but left disappointed. I avoided the bathrooms because they looked like glorified portapotties. We opted for an array of small plates wanting to try everything. The tuna skewers were good, The empandillas (empanadas of the day) were disgusting- herb cream cheese empanadas? Yuck! I’m angry at myself for not asking what they were before we ordered but the server also never mentioned it and I just trusted they would be good. Terrible. We didn’t eat them. The croquettes were okay. Tasted like chicken and cream cheese. Lamb meatballs, rice and beans and plantains were good, but not difficult to get those wrong. Overall, it tasted like the kitchen ran out of protein and stick cream cheese in everything. Bizarre. We planned to stay for dessert but left with food on our plate after one drink. Go to vianda instead. You’re letting your customers down santaella

The food was truly amazing! I definitely recommend this restaurant. This will be our stop every time we are in San Juan. Saturday night we ate at the regular restaurant and Sunday night we ate at the rooftop which was even better.

Such an amazing restaurant all around. The food was INCREDIBLE and the drinks were also so good. The staff was great as well and the ambiance was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

The music was a bit too loud and it was difficult to talk. When it rained, rain was spilling off the roof top canvas. It would also be nice to have some sort of awning or something to cover the walkway and stairs. It's would not be fun to have to use the bathroom if it were raining and the stairs are slippery in the rain.

La Azotea es mi lugar favorito para ir a pasarla bien en domingo ya k solo habré ese día la comida esta súper rica las opciones k tienen son amazing la seta es uno de mis platillos más favoritos!! Found this spot last minute and made a reservation to eat right away. The place is very pretty and inviting. Feels very private and romantic. The drinks were really good and the service was great. The food was normal tasting food. Definitely not worth the price. It is food you can find anywhere for a third of the price they charge. I was expecting more flavor or different specialty options for the price. It is ok for a one time visit but not to go regularly.
