   We walked out Miserable staff. Hostess didn't seat us as per our reservation (we asked for indoors, she sat us outdoors) When we asked for the seat beside where she sat us, she informed us there was a reservation for there two hours after ours We were provided with a QR code for the online menu The waitress did not know the menu at all. She kept saying she had only been there 3 days... poor excuse. We had originally been drawn to the restaurant for it's keto menu due to health reasons. We made our order, she went in and came back to say an iten wasn't available, then came back again to say our substitute request wasn't available and then the third time came back and said that none of keto menu (half their menu online) was available. My partner then asked why they would direct us to a menu that wasn't available. He stood up and spoke sternly and she kept saying don't yell at me. He wasn't yelling. He said relay my question to management. The whole place is a farce. From the staff who are blatantly miserable and ill-equipped by management to do the most basic parts of their jobs, to the false advertising to the blatant disregard for minimal standards of customer service and restaurant management. This place screams shady. Ruined our rare night to go out and doesn't deserve to be in business. I wouldn't he surprised if they are breaking basic ethical, employment, human rights and management codes. They should be inspected.

   Great place - the entire wait staff was very kind and personable. We didn’t feel rushed, our server was attentive and on the ball. The only thing that wasn’t clear was the way the pricing worked for bottomless mimosas, but it isn’t the end of the world. The food was tasty and the portions appropriate, the drinks flowed and the vibe was great. I would maybe recommend a few fans inside because it was quite hot out, but we still had Ana amazing time. Looking forward to going back out and trying the dinner menu!

   Friendly service but not on top of things. Brought wrong food to table, kitchen made mistake after being advised of an allergy, (the server did remove the item from the bill without being asked so that was appreciated), billed us for wrong food, food was mediocre. Cocktails and cheese board were very good. The BBQ chicken salad was mostly lettuce with some chicken thrown on top. Wouldn’t recommend this place except for the drinks and patio. It has potential but not there yet.

   Although sitting on the patio was lovely, the food was disappointing. My companion had to send back her sliders which were chunks of dry, cold brisket rather than a beef patty. Kettle chips were hard. The exchanged order of a house burger was no better. My order of zucchini “pasta” with tomatoes and mushrooms was mediocre. This was my first time at the restaurant and I would not attend again on account of the food.

   Food was great. Rib steak was delicious. Portion was good. It took a while to get served as they had server table confusion. Once this was solve, waitress was exvellent.

    service was terrible, waitresses were nowhere to be found classy place but with loud edm music & strobe lights (don’t get me wrong im a fan but the two different vibes together are extremely confusing) drinks were pretty good

    Our waitress was kind, and polite, and ambiance was great. However it was really slow service because servera had too many tables to be prompt and attentive. Waited 40 mins from first sitting down to receiving cocktails. Kitchen ran out of ingredients and two ppl at the table had to reorder their mains. There were many missed money making opportunities for the restaurant related to speed. I'll give it another chance if someone else suggests this place.

    The vibe and atmosphere are amazing. It's small nice place, with a beautiful and cosy interior design and a patio (if you looking to enjoy the sun). The cocktails were good (the alcohol in the drink was definitely present) but the food is a big no. We order chicken sandwich and B2B burger, with a side of chips and Caesar salad. The burgers were dry and not well seasoned, the chips were too hard (it's supposed to be just crunchy) and Caesar salad was quite okay. Overall, it's nice spot for a get-together with friends, sip few cocktails but not the best option for food. We had fun tho.

    The food (salmon) was quite good. However, it took 40 minutes after being seated to receive even a drinks menu, after having to ask. Much too long given they remind you of the two-hour stay-time limit when they seat you. Also, at 9:00pm sharp the restaurant turns into a club with live dj, so you won’t be motivated to stay longer if you are there to have a conversation over dinner.

    The service was extremely poor. No modifications could be made to our food due to a new kitchen. They advertised free dessert for Mother’s Day brunch but refused to provide it because it was too early (it was 12- this is a common time for brunch). We booked for a patio seat but were seated indoors while the walk ins ahead of us got a patio seat. The food was bland and was definitely not worth the price, one of our dishes lacked presentation and was simply an egg in a bun for a high price point. We were willing to pay for an experience which we simply didn’t get- it was extremely disappointing. Our waitress lacked knowledge of the kitchens abilities and never accommodated for any simple requests. I wouldn’t come here for brunch, a celebration or a good time if you care for quality/service.

    We made a reservation however when we arrived they placed us next to the washroom and the bussing area for dropping off dirty plates. It was a very cramped spot to begin with so having people constantly walk by was uncomfortable. I had sort of thought that if you made a reservation ahead of time they’d give you a better table. The fix was to put us in the back enclosed patio… However the tables are not high enough to dine from when seated on the couches. And there is next to no room available for your legs. We quickly learned that the back patio area is for bigger groups to gather = more noise. The menu was just ok. The whole restaurant feels kind of cramped. And ambiance comes off as an afterthought. The front patio & first few tables is where you will find that summertime Byward Market patio vibe.

    Food menu is only available after 5pm 👎 on a Saturday afternoon which is pretty strange, this is after all a restaurant in the by ward market with a patio neighbouring other restaurants who serve food before 5pm.

    Decent menu and great portion. Cocktails are amazing. The location is more than convenient (Byward Market), and the ambience is perfect for a date (Received a rose). Friendly service, would definitely recommend!

    Overpriced food and drinks that didn’t taste good. Server was attentive. Food took about 45 minutes before it came out. We wouldn’t come back here tbh for anything other than a quick drink

    Very bad service. We were sat quick and the server was friendly. She brought us water that had lipstick marks on it. We didn’t ask for water to so we didn’t say anything and ordered our drinks. We sat there for about 30 mins. Until a table in front of us was sat and they got drinks immediately. Come to find out those were not their drinks. The server takes the drinks back and asks if they’re ours. But they were not our drinks either. We told her we didn’t want them. She was very confused and tried to find out where the drinks were suppose to go. We then got up and left. Horrible service! Will not return!

    The food was fantastic. We had the steak tartare, shrimp tostada, b2b burger, and gnocchi. The gnocchi and shrimp tostada were divine and the steak tartare and b2b burger were delicious. The brownie finished off the night on a high note as well. We loved the décor, and ambience of the place and had a lovely time.

    This is a great place for drinks. The menu is priced quite high and the food was not very good. But the atmosphere and drinks are fun, and the service was great. Would recommend for a night of drinks and laughter, but eat somewhere else first.

    Garbage spot with garbage food. I have no clue why the hell they used the word Brooklyn in their name other than to capitalize on some sort of perceived "coolness". This restaurant wouldn't survive two weeks in Brooklyn. Anyway, don't waste your time and money at this antivax, antimask and, ultimately, mediocre restaurant.

    The worst service is no service and that's exactly what we got. We arrived at 9pm and left at 9.40. Our server came to check on us a total of zero times. It was the Saturday before Valentine's day and we were hoping to have a nice night with some drinks and food. But instead we sat awkwardly at a table for what felt like forever. When we sat down the server gave us water and after maybe 15 minutes waiting for her to come back we decided to get drinks from the bar while we waited for her to come back. The bartender did not even want to serve us and told us to wait for the server. We had to twist his arm just to get drinks while we waited. And finally after 40 minutes of waiting we managed to get the attention of the server and ask if we were going to get served. We left soon after. A lovely night ruined. Its was so uncomfortable. we felt unwanted and so we will not be going back to the cold alley after that. Yes it's very cold in the restaurant (not the patio) keep your winter coats handy if you are planning to go.
