Located in the heart of Dundee, Baela Rose is a purveyor of fine American dining from Chef Kyle Anderson and wife Rose Anderson. They began following their dreams of owning and operating a larger scaled restaurant in the neighborhood where the two first met back in 2008. Plans for Baela Rose began in January of 2015 and opened for business in June of 2016.

The restaurant is named after the couple’s daughter. The restaurant focuses on classic cooking techniques with a menu designed to create one’s own tasting. Chef Kyle draws inspiration from all over the world, making the menu very eclectic. He focuses on connecting with local farmers to create the freshest menu possible with seasonal ingredients.

Beautifully and artfully plated food! High quality ingredients! I ordered the cauliflower entree but also wanted scallops, and so they added 3 large and perfectly seared scallops to my cauliflower dish! Everything was amazing! Recommend it highly for foodies with high expectations!

Me and my girlfriend had a lovely experience here. We decided to order the most expensive thing on the menu and we were not disappointed. To top it all off the service was great, friendly, and always came to the table as needed. We also finished with some delicious sorbet for a night we won’t forget.

The web site did not reflect what was on offer. The available menus was unclear. Service was poor, flatware was not replaced when removed. Flatware was dropped and not retrieved. Lemon drop martini was very weak.

Great vibe. Just had some bar bites, but on a previous visit had dinner and it was good too. Happy Hour all night on a Wednesday is a great value. Enjoyed the smooth jazz playing in the background.

It was a great Birthday brunch with my boyfriend and his parents. The noise level is great so you can hear and chat. The food is very high quality and well prepared and presented. The cinnamon roll is extra delicious!

Made a reservation for no apparent reason the place was empty. We got greeted by the hostess which barely said two words to us brought us to our table. She’s at the menus down and walked away. Our server was very timid maybe a new one which is fine I understand that, she never once tried to upsell tell us if there are any specials we could hardly hear her she spoke very very soft. While we were debating on what to get the hostess manager was standing behind the bar with her a little baby. That to me was very odd and unprofessional. We order the security board which was so so four pieces of meat two pieces of prosciutto a few nuts a few beats not what it’s worth. I ordered the risotto totally overcooked way too much salt. My son ordered the state not worth the amount of money there was more potatoes and other garnishes then there was meat. My daughter ordered the chicken wings that was the safest bet of all. I have been there now three times and that will be my last the place is always empty, very low energy and that has been every time I’ve been in there. Good luck Bella Rose I’m not sure you’ll make it much longer.

We made reservations for a Sunday night. We were set as soon as we got there. The wait staff was very accommodating. We ordered appetizers that were wonderful and our dinner entrees were fabulous! Highly recommend and looking forward to going back again!

My wife and I tried Baela Rose out for the first time celebrating our anniversary. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was perfect for date night and the food presentation was excellent. We are definitely going back!

Had the perfect meal here tonight. Staff was kind and knowledgeable about the menu and got me to try something new! Thank you Georgia for your help. The pheasant roulade with ravioli was amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever had before. I also started off with the beef tartare and it was also delicious. Can’t beat half off wine bottles either. My compliments to the chef and staff.
