Limited menu choice (& no wine) but beautiful food. Will return. Whilst Baity is usually busy when we pass it, on this occasion we were the only people there, making it an ambiance-free zone.

Really nice atmosphere and great vibe. The small plates are incredible, especially the kibbeh and the hummous. There are four main dishes to choose from, which makes it nice and simple. We tried two of them, the lamb maklouba and the musakhan and both were on point! Looking forward to trying the other two main dishes and some of the other small plates. Great staff and service. Will be vack for sure!

Nice layout and vibe. Friendly young staff. Very limited menu - only one vegetarian dish, the Moussaka. This was vegetables on bread in an incredibly salty sumac sauce - almost a challenge to finish is as it was so salty. Had plenty of Moussaka in my time and love Middle Eastern food but this was way too salty. We asked for a jug of water but were only given small glasses which we had to ask to be refilled several times during the meal. Also very expensive for what it was - I've been to similar places that have similar food but far less salty and the main dishes are almost half the price. Might be much better for meat eaters, but for vegetarians I would not recommend.

I've been walking past Baity for a few months wanting to check it out and this was the first opportunity I had to do so. I love middle eastern food and this didn't disappoint, with some dishes new to me and not just the mezze style food with pitta bread that gets served up in so many similar establishments. There were several dishes here I hadn't had before full of unfamiliar and mouthwatering flavours. Particularly loved the Sumac Veggies starter. If I had a slight caveat it's that this isn't a plush posh nosh restaurant - more of an arty cafe vibe going on. That's fine - I'm up for that - but I wondered if the lighting was a little bright and brittle which kind of ran counter to the delicacy of the food. But overall - terrific stuff - and I'll definitely be back, and have already recommended Baity to friends including someone in Chester who is making the journey over specially to give it a try.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere & very friendly and attentive staff. I would recommend Baitys to anyone who likes to try something new, cuisine wise. They have no alcohol licence but sell non alcoholic beer/lager and soft drinks. The main meals on offer are wonderfully spiced and cooked to perfection. Overall fabulous place to eat!!

Baity provides tasty flavoursome fresh food. Service is friendly yet attentive. Just the right level of attention. I particularly like the Muttabel its very zingy and fresh. The Musakhan is also a favourite of mine. The chicken is moist, don't really need the accompanying riata. The bread and sweet onions are full of flavour. Its a generous portion but so tasty it's hard not to eat it all!! There's no alcohol license but love the cardamom tea. The teas come from tea bags. It's a shame there's no fresh mint tea. Toilets could be better, avoid if you can!

Lovely staff. Food is tasty and interesting. It's a slight downside that there is no alcohol on the drinks menu. This might restrict which groups of friends I would go to the restaurant with.

This place is lovely- relaxed, cafe type atmosphere, with very kind and respectful staff. Food is probably very slightly more expensive than an average restaurant but is authentic, absolutely delicious and good portion sizes. This is a great place for a treat dinner.

The team at Baity were great, made us feel very welcome, attentive despite being busy, went the extra mile in terms of making it a special meal - even a baklava with a candle on it because of a birthday. The food was delicious and well presented.

Can’t fault the food, even the deserts. The knafa cheesecake was so very moorish and a definite sharer. The lack of alcohol was a refreshing change and saves a fortune on the bill. A very relaxed, friendly and informal place to eat with friends or family. The only tiny thing that lets it down is the bland and uninviting decor but that isn’t the priority, so I’ll definitely be back.

Nice enough, but not as nice as I hoped. My sumac vegetables mainly potatoes, which was a shame. Quite expensive for what it is. We knew it was dry, and that was not a problem, but when selecting a restaurant in future would probably choose not to return and go to a restaurant with similar cuisine that did serve alcohol. Service good and staff very nice.

The staff and food were really good but the only problem was if sat in a certain place every time a person walked past the floor would bounce which made eating slightly uncomfortable.
