If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute.     Absolutely love the restaurant. Food is superb and staff is excellent! The only problem was that the people sitting near us were loud which was not the restaurant’s fault at all. The place is popular and a hot spot for all.

    We sat outside on a lovely evening. Service was timely and friendly. Steak was too salty (surprising considering the price!); salmon was delicious. Side salad was on the large side, server described it as small but we could have easily split it if we had known. Good destination for event or celebration, not so much for routine meals.

    We were celebrating our birthdays and they did a fabulous job acknowledging our celebration throughout the meal! The food was fabulous! Our server, Rene, was awesome! We shared that we had a timeframe and he was very conscious of that and got us on our in time! He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations for us. The menu prices are something that, for me, makes this more of a celebration or special occasion restaurant. Definitely will go back again!

    We really enjoyed the interesting dishes and cocktails. Our server was really knowledgeable amd helped decide what dishes were right for us based on our tastes. The Scallop dish was my favorite!

    Great service from Kevin G. as always ! The calamari, pork shank and hanger steak were all excellent The wedge salad is OK, but couldn't you have something more exciting to offer beside what's there? Missed seeing Michael ! But, I guess he's allowed to have a life, too !! :) He is just so "out there" and fun !! Be sure to greet him for us ! Always a treat having dinner at Baldamar !

    As always everything was exceptional,party of 4celebating a birthday. From appetizers to dessert and coffee, everything was delivered with perfect timing. Ben had a smile on our faces all night. Looking for a celebration, or just because it’s Monday. You can’t go wrong with Baldamar.

    The exceptional food and personalized service here is what keep us coming back. Each time we visit, we feel like we are the most important table. We never feel rushed, the food truly is outstanding, and the service is beyond compare. Highly highly recommend this restaurant. Don't let the mall near by fool you, it's the best restaurant in town.

    Went to Baldamar to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we're not disappointed. The table was decorated and also a gift card, which was very appreciated and not expected! Food was outstanding- perfectly seasoned and cooked. We shared a 14 oz. Waygu steak, which was the best steak we've ever had! The fire roasted artichokes were outstanding - could have eaten several plates. And of course, the bread and butter flight is absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back!

    Server was awesome. Food came out fast and everything was delicious. But let's start at the beginning because I was disappointed in the beginning after entering the restaurant. We waited for a minute for the host to finish up with the guests before us. Then she quickly announced, "Who's next?" and turned quickly away from me, even though she had made eye contact with me and I was physically approaching her. The host turned to address another couple that walked in, as if they were next. That obviously did not make me feel welcome at all. But once we were seated, the vibe and ambience was better.

    We stopped in for our sixth year wedding anniversary. The ambience was modern and intimate and we were brought to our table with the nicest, subtle celebratory decor on the table. The malbec was smooth, the bread with honey jalapeño butter was stupid good, and my husband said his ribeye was the best steak he’s ever had. We were too full for dessert but our server treated us to the fifteen layer chocolate cake to take home. Such a great experience - we can’t wait to return.

    I would have given Baldamar 5 stars as the food and service were outstanding. My only complaint is that the tables are way too close together. For a $300 dinner I don’t need to be sitting a foot a way from the next table and forced to listen to their conversation.
