   A reservation was made, when arrived told it was first come first serve, so had to eat outside. So what is the point of making a reservation? Took extreme amount of time from sitting down to ordering drinks. Appetizers came after 20 mins, then took another 50 min to get entree. Provided a second glass of wine each due to delay. Main meal was mediocre. Due to the latest of the evening did not even bother to order dessert and coffee. Not sure if there is any point is going back.

   Too expensive for the quality. Small portion of panned fish. Beef and shrimp without any gravy. Big deception, even more with the overall quality and global experience of the spectacular site. Expected better food.

   The food is fine however for the prices you are paying I would expect much better. We were absolutely underwhelmed however the view of the falls is lovely.

   Great place with great food and better wine. Very pictures but the service is a highlight. Very nice and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend it and return for another stay any time.

   The pork burger was disappointing. The sauce is so very sweet. The charcuterie board was very pretty, but had a lot of “fillers” on it versus meat and cheese. Overall just “OK”. I’d recommend it more for the atmosphere than for the food.

    Overall we enjoyed our meal and ambiance. The only issue was the long delay ( 45+ minutes) before we received our drinks; not sure why. Marie was very pleasant and friendly. MD/LMD

    What a gorgeous location! The food was excellent - imaginative, inventive and delicious. We spent part of our time watching a heron fishing in the river. We sat outside and it was perfect.

    It took a very long time to get our food. Neither the menu or the server was clear on a menu item. When dishes arrived the order was wrong but we took the wrong dish as we did not want to wait a long time again for food. No rectification on bill did this error. Food was good but quality of beef on my main was not great.

    We had a delightful and delicious lunch at the Heron. Food and view of the river were wonderful. Friendly service although a little slow. We were halfway through our meal when we got our condiments and she never came back to take our coffee and dessert orders

    The service was slow… we were waiting for our food to arrive which is normal but sometimes our drinks were pretty much done and there were no one to ask us if we would like to have something else to drink. I would have been more understanding if the place was crowded but it was not… would recommend check more often on the customer so while they are waiting for their food to arrive at least the have something to drink. Food was great though and the vue too

    Appetizer focaccia bread/roast beef was excellent and portioned to share. Mill salad also well done. Main dish of gnocchi came out cold. Service staff needs some training. Left sitting with no water and empty drink glasses until we called to the second server to order our wine for the main course. Entertainment was tasteful. Scenic locale.

    What a beautiful location! Me and my girlfriend arrived early to our reservation to enjoy a few cocktails before dinner. The bartender Hibra was very friendly and helpfull, he guided us to our table and thats where it went downhill…. The waiter took our order, and we waited about 30 minutes before our plates came, which is ok, only it was not what we ordered… no big deal right. So we continue to wait until the waiter comes to us around 9:30 to tell us the kitchen is closed and we will not be receiving our meal or any food!! Ive never had such a terrible dining experience, these people have no respect for the guests, and are obviously unorganised and poorly managed. We then spoke to the manager who tried putting the blame on us…. Thank you le moulin for ruining my anniversary with my girlfriend, I would love to rate your food, but we never got any, and went to bed angry and hungry!

    The food is consistently wonderful - fresh, creative and perfectly prepared. The staff are well trained and know the wines and menu. A bit pricey, but value for your money. I have eaten here for years - never had a bad meal.

    La cuisine de Marie-Ève Gingras vaut vraiment le détour. On y a un peu accès par le Héron, sinon il faut viser l'autre restaurant du moulin. Le dessert de tagliatelle déconstruite qui mélange les parfums d'orange et d'anis est à se jeter par terre... à des pieds. 😀L'endroit est magnifique, par ailleurs. Suggestion pour amélioration : un plus grand choix de vins au verre.

    The food was amazing. But we went on mother's day WITH A RESERVATION and when we showed up they were overbooked and we either had to wait another hour to order off the lunch menu (even though I reserved under lunch) or we had to have their brunch which was automatically 45 dollars a person. If they sort out their management it would be a good place to eat.

    Service was friendly but slow by American standards. Expect to be there for the evening. Food was very tasty. Portions small, except for the fries, so order a few items. Ambiance was special. Waterfall spectacular.
