   Great appetizers and entrees - dinner is not made in house/was clearly frozen. Our server, Anyx (pronounced: Onyx) was AMAZING. The menu is fairly priced, the beer and wine is quite pricey.

   Was looking forward to a birthday dinner. Had made reservations couple weeks prior or more. Arrived and was told that the dining room was full so we were seated in the bar area. Didn't make sense to me considering I had made reservations ahead of time. This was the biggest frustration to us. Appetizer could have been warmer but was tasty. Dinner was good but the sides were not very warm. Was told when asking for bread that we would have to pay $3.50 which okay...but only got two pieces of grilled bread. Cocktails were very pricey but I guess that's to be expected downtown. Server was nice. Don't know if we would return though because we didn't get to experience the dining room and apparently you aren't guaranteed a table in it even if you make a reservation.

   This was Dan’s and my first dinner here and we found the ambiance warm and modern; service was very attentive; and the food is fantastic. Small-ish menu but really well done. We started with three shared dishes: crazy delicious meatballs in pomodoro; black rice arancini with romesco, and rosemary olive focaccia. Our dinner choices at Bar Cicchetti were exceptional (and realistic portions). JoAnne ordered the Romaine and Truffle Salad, Dan had the Strozzapreti Verde (sausage, fennel, broccolini, yolk) and I loved the perfect heat in the Calabrian Chili Campanelle (littleneck clams in spicy pepper, white wine, garlic sauce). It was a lick-the-plate kinda dinner! Cocktails were the Main Street Manhattan and mezcal-based Pepino. And wine. Highly recommend.

    So excited to have found Bar Cicchetti here in Columbus. The food was authentic and delicious, some of the best Italian we’ve had in Columbus. Highly recommend the squid ink pasta with the frutti de mare (seafood). The burrata was also excellent! Great wine list too. You can’t go wrong!

    Our server was great! Very friendly and enthusiastic! Food was very good! We arrived before Happy Hour ended, so we were excited to take advantage of that special menu. We ordered the truffle fries (very good!), as well as the meatball app- loved it! For our entrees, we had 2 pasta dishes that were really good. Mine was a seafood dish; husband had a rigatoni. We would definitely go back again!

    We came after lunch rush i guess..it was 1:30pm .. its inside a hotel so that probably cutts down walkins... place in nice beautiful seating comfy as well... great service. Waiter was extra nice and helpful with menu... wine list is ok .... THE FRENCH FRIES ARE DELICIOUS... but the chicken sandwich was bland and thin. My wife had some type of chicken salad it had a RUNNY EGG.. needless to say she didnt like that.... and the Brussels sprouts (my favorite side dish) was not to my liking. $120 wasted

    Our experience was exceptional!! The food and drinks were amazing, and the service was phenomenal. We had the Polpetti De Fabio (meatballs) as an appetizer. Our main courses were the Taleggio Roman Pizza and the Chicken Thigh Marsala. For dessert we enjoyed the Tiramisu. All dishes were mouthwatering and some of the best we have ever had. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

    Food is outstanding. Service is good but the hostess did not make us feel welcome. We were 10 minutes late due to an issue with valet and he said that he would have to search for an open spot for us. He was very unforgiving for an issue that was related to their own valet and we felt very uncomfortable. However the food was extremely impressive.

    Our server, Emily, was top notch. Our entrees and the rosemary focaccia were divine ( I’d suggest the dressing on the side for the Mediterranean salad as the vinaigrette pooled at the bottom and was a bit overpowering). Overall, as usual, a great spot prior to the CJO.

    Loved it! Our small group ordered many of the appetizers and several pizza selections. All delicious! The only bummer is the hotel doesn’t valet for the restaurant so you have to park in lot or garage around the corner.

    Was looking forward to trying a new place. It took an hour for the 6 us to get our drinks of which the waiter mocked us for. When we’re ready to order the waiter said and I quote “hold on I have to put in a drink order for the other table.” He didn’t come back for another 15 minutes of which we then decided to leave! He then told us we should go somewhere smaller for better service. By the way, this is an average size restaurant. Never returning.

    We sat down at 730 and didn’t leave until after 9pm We got our appetizers after 45 minutes They were not prepared for Restaurant week There was a wedding party which cut in to other patrons The main Restroom for the restaurant was in the hotel, there happened to be a homeless person sleeping in the bathroom which was startling. The hotel took care of the situation, but just added aggravation to the experience. The kitchen was backed up and they ran out of deserts Usually wait staff at a Marriott property is more attentive. For a pre-fixe of 50 per person it is just recommended

    Really good dining experience as Bar Ciccheti. The dishes were creative and flavorful, more attentive to really good ingredients than some typical Italian restaurants. The "chicken stew" (stufato citta) was a great dish with chicken, seafood, beans and herbs. I also found the black rice arancini to be very tasty. Happy hour drink prices are great; wine list however seems overly high--both for single glass or bottle.

    Tried this place for the first time before a show at the Ohio Theater. We loved it! Atmosphere was great - it’s a lovely restaurant. The service was excellent - timely, friendly with helpful suggestions. One of us got the Restaurant week menu and the other ordered from standard menu. Both meals were delicious and beautiful! I got the Shrimp with fresh pasta & my friend got the Chicken thigh - I think it was marsala. Everything was cooked perfectly with fresh, flavorful ingredients. This is a great spot before a show - you can park in the Commons lot (old City Center lot) and easily walk to the restaurant and then to the theater. And you can make a reservation which is nice. We’ll definitely be back since we’re subscribers to the Broadway season.

    Some menu items not presented as described. Chicken Marsala was suppose to be a thigh and came as 2 breast’s. Pizza dough not fully cooked. Martinis were short pours for the price. Overall tastes good. Server, Kiki was super!

    This place is really a hidden gem in Columbus! The food is outstanding for a hotel restaurant. The prices are a little high for Columbus but it is worth it for a special occasion. Would highly recommend.

    Went here for an anniversary, which was noted on the reservation but not acknowledged by anyone at the restaurant. Service was honestly pretty bad, which was blamed on a wedding party that they were somehow unprepared for. Drinks are overpriced and nothing special. The focaccia is amazing and the only thing I would order again. The orecchiette was extremely disappointing and basic, as was the chicken Marsala.

    Bar Cicchetti has great food and drinks and wonderful people. I wish I lived closer, we’d go there every week. For a nice little vaca, stay in the Westin and dine at Bar Cicchetti in the same building.! Perfect! 4-1/2 stars !!!

    Bar Cicchetti is one of Columbus’ finest new restaurants. Everything is made from scratch and filled with flavor.     We had been looking forward to dining at Bar Cicchetti since it opened last July. We finally made it! As hoped, the food was amazing - authentic, full, rich flavors of Italian cuisine. In contrast, the service was pedestrian. A team of three servers covered the few occupied tables that evening and only one among them seemed to have any clue of what was going on with the menu, specials or even drinks. Sure, we're still experiencing the residual effects of the Pandemic and the labor market is thin, but I'd hate to think that the culinary offerings provided by this unique Fabio Viviani concept might disappear from the CBUS scene because of front-of-the-house failings.
