    The meat and cheese platter was amazing, and so were the cocktails. The service was personal and entertaining. It was our first visit and we will be back.

    Brought my dad here for his birthday. It was our first time here and we did the tasting menu. Everything was absolutely perfect from the service to the food. Definitely recommend the tasting menu if you’re hoping to see what they have to offer. Nothing bad to say about any dish we were served and the drinks were amazing. Our server was fantastic.

    Fantastic find! We tried Bar Corso last night and loved everything about it! Food was excellent, the room has a great vibe, and our server was very attentive.

    We have been to Bar Corso a few times now, and usually have a great time. The food is a bit pricey, but the drinks are good and if you arrive for happy hour it helps. Our visit last night was terrible. We reserved for 430pm and we were running late, so I called to let them know. We got there less than 15 mins late. On the phone we were told we would lose the time from our two hour seating and had to leave by 630pm. When we arrived the waitress reminded us again but stated we only had until 615 pm. We found the way she handled this off-putting but ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately, our pasta and bison were both cold. At 545 pm, we finished our dinner and the waitress came over and said "that's all the food you ordered, can I get you the bill?" and once again reminded us about the reservation time and mentioned how we were late for the reso. We were going to get dessert but didn't appreciate the attitude, so we left. We were only there for an hour and felt so rushed and didn't appreciate the three reminders to leave. I get that some restaurants count on turnover. However, this was excessive. We won't be back again, which is too bad because we live in the neighbourhood.

    Wow what an amazing curated meal tonight. Each of the 7 or 8 courses was outstanding and unique. Honestly it was so good I can’t remember it all. The value was incredible as I have paid 3x that for a comparable meal. We will back!

    This is the straight truth. One of the girls serving was very nice the other not nice at all. In fact I'm positive she tried to steal from me in a very arrogant manner but I stopped it pretty quick. She was right on the mark to tell us our time was up and we had to go. Fine. Fair enough. I paid cash. $80 on a approx $65 bill. Keep the change no problem. What does she do? She takes the money does a lap and comes back and says I only have her $60. I looked her straight and told her I gave $80. She does a twirl and comes back and says two bills must have got stuck together. Even the nice server was embarrassed. I suspect she is stealing to cover a drug habit. Like I was going to get fooled. She needs a reality check. I don't know why the place is so busy with a thief running around.

    Ciao Justin, this is a very serious accusation that we take seriously. We can assure you that all our staff are very thoughtful, considerate and honest. We have NEVER had anyone make this kind of accusation before and are sure it's an innocent mistake. We are busy because we work very hard at making amazing fresh food, creating great cocktails, bringing in excellent hard-to-find wines, and supplying friendly, knowledgeable, and HONEST service. To give the business such a bad review because of an error is over the top, but on behalf of our server and management, we are very sorry about the misunderstanding. To publicly declare that we have a drug user and thief working is one thing but that is somehow condoned by Corso is crazy. Please call us so we can chat further about this. Grazi!

    Great food, bad service. Waiter was super annoying, always trying to give me "hard time" for something in his way of joking.. Why there is no vegetables on my plate - so I have to explain that I ate them.. They brought us main course and I gave half to my wife since I wasn't hungry and she was. so he comes and again start giving me hard time how I am eating too fast or something, so again I have to explain myself ow I gave half to my wife... just stupid.. He was constantly trying to be funny and pushing his stupid jokes.... and did nothing about service.. I have to pour our own wine when glasses are empty or water..

    Overall lovely cocktails and food menu. Would be well serviced providing paper menus, referring to one’s phone throughout the evening to consult the menu was intrusive and tiresome.

    We had the tasting menu. Food was very good, though based on the description on open table we were expecting 5 snacks and 5 pastas but instead got 5 snacks, 1 salad, 1 pasta, 1 entree, 2 desserts. Would have preferred more pasta! The service was good but a bit off, e.g. taking away cutlery randomly and not replacing it, taking away drinks before we were done, forgetting what course we were on or what was on the plate. The pacing between courses was also pretty off, the snacks came within 15 mins of each other which was perfect, for some of the mains we waited upwards of 45 mins. Took 3 hours total. The inside of the restaurant was super loud so we sat on the patio which was much more comfortable. Overall a good experience, glad we tried it, but probably wouldn't return. Would recommend a la carte ordering over the tasting menu.

    It was a great experience at Bar Corso: a place that has a great selection and choices for drinks while you get good quality food! Mever knew this spot existed but am glad I found out when I did!

    We really enjoyed our experience, from the pleasant greeting to the friendly and caring food servers. The drinks menu is varied : ours were delicious! We both tried the pasta of the day with some bread and balsamic along with almonds and olives. Loved the mood!

    What a lovely evening! I came with my sister, who was visiting from Edmonton. We had a drink and ordered 3 share plates and it was the *perfect* amount of everything. Incredible service from a warm and charming serving staff. I will be back soon!

    We went here for the first time recently and it is a lovely and creative place but the food is overpriced. In particular, we had the Bisonte bison dish that consisted of about 10 small slices of bison - for $38... This is Commercial Drive, and I know we are getting much more refined, but that one hurt - we had ordered several small vegetable dishes for around $18-$20 each and I had ordered the bison assuming it would fill out the meal. The waiter was fabulous, cocktails lovely, decor attractive, so I don't want to sound negative, but the bison thing was a bit much and I wouldn't recommend that to a friend.

    We sat on the patio, which was great on a lovely evening. We had the chef's tasting menu which was amazing, diverse and delicious! Our server was very attentive, professional and friendly, and we had a great banter going with them all evening. My first time at Bar Corso, but definitely not my last. I'll be back for more deliciousness!

    The food was top tier. The duck stuffed morels and tuna crostini were some of the best things I have ever eaten….. I’m still thinking about them days later! Delicious spritzes and cold Lambrusco were a perfect pairing for our beautiful meal.

    Found this place by accident. Love this place. Drinks were amazing but the service was even more amazing. This VERY tall myoung man was helping us and was sooooooo attentive and real. As "Human" customers he didn't act like an automated robot like some other restaurants. He was very genuine and felt like he was a close friend. Thank you for such a awesome service Bar Corso

    Great cocktails. Very good food. The server made helpful suggestions. One person in our party was in a wheelchair, and the restaurant was accessible. Messaged ahead to ensure we were seated at a standard height table, and the staff was very accommodating.

    It was good. The service was quite quirky (sass, swearwords, and a kind of funny lack of knowledge about the menu). I was served things I said I didn't like (e.g. raw beef) which I thought was a bit odd.
