    We really enjoyed this place. Nice to be able to sit at a booth for two. Food was great. We had morels stuffed with duck and a pasta with duck bolognese. Both were excellent and the eggplant recipe was devine. Service was great. We ordered a bottle of vermentino and they only had half a bottle left. They gave it to us for free! When does that happen?

    Bar Corso is a chic, cool, intimate spot right in the heart of the Drive. Modern, cozi and classic vibe. Bar-man Connor makes a perfectly balanced Negroni. Chef Luke turns out a Focaccia that is probably the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. The pasta special featured a thicker Bucatini noodle which was al dente to the level that it was stuck in my teeth. Another 90 seconds would have been perfect. The music was lively, cool, fun and groovy. If you are considering sliding in for snacks, cocktails or a full dining experience, I would say: do it. We had a lot of fun.

    We very much enjoyed our late afternoon patio date at Corso. The cocktails were first class, (best negroni I have ever had served in a frozen glass - night touch) and we enjoyed exploring the happy hour tapas style shared dishes. We sat outside, which on Commercial was loud but a great vibe. Looking forward to our next visit.

    I underestimated this place just looming at the menu. It was red by a major foodie friend. The food was amazing - very creative, very tasty and unique. Great Italian wines and grappa and Negroni list. Cool staff and vibe. We were thrilled.

    Love this place! Very hip little bar/resto that makes a great date destination. Delicious cocktails and food. We shared an eggplant dish, the burrata appetizer and roasted cauliflower -- all amazing. Fairly loud music, but able to hold a conversation.

    Great place for couples to chat and have good drinks/food. Went in the early evening, but would love to go back again later at night when it's darker, and just soak up the atmosphere.

    An exceptional and noteworthy dining experience in the heart of The Drive. We chose the Chef’s Menu option - and were pleasantly impressed, and treated to a remarkable and generous variety of unique dishes. The Chef provided personal attention to answer questions about one of the particularly unique and outstanding dishes, (all the more impressive considering the modest size kitchen space). The wait staff have always been outstanding any time we’ve returned; friendly, efficient, very personable and always fun. The space is clean, modern, and casual/ cool/ cozy! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this ‘diamond in the rough’ bar for any occasion.

    Great meal, great cocktails, great ambience. Perfect east side date night place!! The food really was excellent, especially the burrata with duck procuitto, the wagyu crostini, and the Brussels. We loved it!

    We were asked to leave after 2 hours even though we made a reservation in advance. it was not mentioned anywhere (even in the fine print) that the max allowed time is 2 hours. Rude behaviour from the staff :(

    The food is consistently great tasting with the best quality ingredients. The chef’s menu is always innovative and amazing. Bar Corso is a nice relaxed atmosphere. A great place to go with friends, a date, or sit at the bar. You will be well taken care of.

    First time at Bar Corso and pretty underwhelming experience. Friends were doing the tasting menu and waited well over an hour for my own entree to appear. I am Italian and my grandmother made melanzane weekly but was good to try a fusion version. Smoked eggplant was there but seemed to be missing tapenade, radicchio and pistachios. Was really missing the tomato sauce and parmesan or mozzarella of the traditional dish. Turnip dish with turnips which were large raw chunks with very little flavours in dish to mellow the strong turnip taste and consistency. Desserts were definitely the highlight and would return for them after eating dinner elsewhere.

    I was disappointed at paying $7 for a slice of toasted spread with chickpeas spread and 3 cherry tomatoes! Price point for the food (which was good) but very over-priced for "good" food. Drink selections were plenty but again, pricy. I would not go back.

    Space: It is a small space with mostly high top / high chair and bar seating. Definitely not kids friendly unless you have a mature kid who can sit still and does not require a lot of table space. Food: The food were generally better than average. Some were not as well executed (Salmon Croquettes) and some were perfect (carrot ravioli). Others were good but not spectacular. With that said, each dish you can see the attempt of creativity, that is definitely something to be appreciated. Value: I read some prior review noting the food being pricey to what you get. I would say that is only the case if you go a la carte. The Chef Choice $60 menu is simply ridiculous when it ended up being an 8 course experience (some courses are off menu chef creation) and quite frankly is the only way to experience Bar Corso in my humble opinion. I can honestly recommend this place, if nothing else, as a fun place for food adventure.

    We love bar corso so we come back often but this time the experience wasn’t fantastic. Our server seemed a bit disinterested in serving us and forgot to ring in an item and took a while to visit us. Also, there was only one pasta on the menu which was a ravioli and so variety was poor. It would be good to know that there would be at least a couple of good pasta dishes available. Thanks for considering

    Service was great, however food was very salty, pasta was undercooked. They did remake the first salty dish however, it was still too salty. We felt bad complaining so we just stopped ordering food. I'd go there for drinks, unfortunately pass on the food.
