    Le lieu de la salle à manger est magnifique. Les serveurs semblent d'une grande amabilité mais n'étaient pas rapides hier soir. De plus, les apéritifs et les plats n'étaient pas servis en même temps (3 ou 4 minutes de battement) ce qui a fait refroidir deux plats sur trois. Dans le cas du bar, le poisson était plus que tiède.

    Bar George est comme une deuxième maison. On s'y sent bien parce que tout concorde à nous permettre d'y vivre une telle impression. Excellente nourriture, service hors pair dans le décor fastueux de cette construction historique.

    I could wax poetic about how PHENOMENAL every bite of our risotto and roulade was- but to keep it simple, we’ll absolutely be back. Ambience, service, pacing, dinner & dessert were all divine!

    Waiting 1 hour to get our food. We were a table of 4. Asked for a coffee twice before I got it. The plate “pain perdu” they give you 1 small round pancake, it’s good but it should be classified as an entree and not a meal. I wouldn’t recommend for brunch.

    Excellent location and great history attached to this house. Interior kept it’s old charm. Staff extremely polite, courteous and efficient. Food selection not overwhelming and very well cutared. Strongly recommend🤩

    We had the chicken roulade and the lobster risotto for entrees, followed by the baked Alaska. The chicken was tender, succulent and flavorful, served with a delicious sauce. Service was excellent as well.

    Julian our server was fantastic. The hostesses were able to place us at the bar when we arrived early. That was wonderful. The service at the bar was prompt and friendly. Great vibe at the bar. The food was great. Best steak tartar I ever tried. A few minuses, the oysters were rather small, and the pastry on the beef Wellington a little soggy. The meat was cooked to perfection. The swordfish was divine. Overall expensive but wonderful experience for a special occasion. Did I mention Julian the server was fantastic? It deserves repeating.

    We went to the restaurant side and ordered several entrees to share. The food was delicious, not a huge menu, but something for everyone. And everything had an original twist to it, like the fries served with curry mayonnaise! It may sound bizarre, but it was fantastic. To end the meal, an amazing chocolate desert that didn’t feel like a brick. The service was amazing, the waiter was very knowledgeable in wines. The Decour, of course, was beautiful, wood, panelling from days gone by. However, it was not at all stuffy. No white table cloths, because that would’ve made it all too formal. The only thing I may have changed would be to have a slightly less party, music, more, jazz or R&B. But I was a minor detail for the whole evening! I haven’t been there in many years, but will certainly be going back.  not a huge menu, but something for everyone. And everything had an original twist to it, like the fries served with curry mayonnaise! It may sound bizarre, but it was fantastic. Yes, it is pricey, but as opposed to many restaurants, these days that are very expensive and are only average this one is actually worth it!

    The whole experience wasn’t up to my expectations, the hostess at the door didn’t take my coat for coatcheck, I had to search for it. The service was good but slow, appetizers were really good but the main dish was so so, tried the chicken dish. I didn’t finish my meal. The value to the price is not really equal, too expensive for what you get. Will still give it another shot for brunch maybe it willl be a better experience

    I was asking question to the lady at the front who welcome us and she was annoyed , The chia bowl was very ordinary & small , i would loved see more fruit or appetite. The avocado toast was very good !! The coffee was fresh & hot. Good service over all , thank you,

    Exceptional service at the bar, great experience and setting. The food was excellent, but the Lunch menu is too pricy in our perspective (Adding up an appetizer and a main dish from the regular menu is cheaper than the Lunch menu pricing). The tartare app is very tasty but a bit too small and the cream of mushroom soup is outstanding. We had burgers, which were good, fries were excellent. We will absolutely go back, but not leverage the Lunch Menu.

    We had a lovely experience at Bar George! The servers were all fantastic, and the rooms are designed extremely elegantly. Food was awesome: We both shared the bread basket, I had the pain au perdu, my partner had the hamburger - all deeeelicious! The food honestly only took 15 mins MAX to all come out. We also had the hot chocolate, mimosa and orange juice to drink. Super yummy and definitely made us wanting more!

    A beautiful restaurant in the Mount St Stephen’s hotel,architecture is amazing. The food was outstanding,service from Kevin and the team was over the top good! Not inexpensive but worth the $$.. 👍👍

    By far one of the most beautiful bars in the world. Rich woodwork. Glowing candlelight. Victorian stained glass windows. Great music. Excellent food and drinks. All in the 1880 mansion of a Scottish Quebecois tycoon. Luscious!!!
