    Atmosphere was stunning! Food was nothing special, Didn’t like the crudo at all and it’s normally one of my favourites. It was too fishy and too rich the coconut sauce was much too thick. Steak tartare was good nothing memorable, presentation was average. Always prefer when they prepare table side, or at least have more accoutrements. Wouldn’t go back except for drinks to enjoy the gorgeous space.

    Great food. Went there for my husband birthday with friends. The beef wellington and the lobster risotto were great. We tried the beef tartare which was good too. Its expensive but it a good restaurant to try it out.

    Service as off today. Very slow. Not that he wasn’t pleasant……it just took a long time. Short staffed or something

    Super Essen, super Service und ein richtig tolles Ambiente. Unser Kellner hat sich richtig Mühe gegeben und eine ganz tolle Weinempfehlung gemacht. Das Essen war herausragend- wir hatten unter anderem das Lobster-Risotto. Der Hummer war zart und auf den Punkt gegart. Außerdem war die Geräuschkulisse sehr niedrig, so dass man sich gut unterhalten konnte. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!!

    The food was passable for a diner, but for the price (around 300$ for breakfast for a family of five), I was expecting much better. In particular, the atmosphere in the dining room is a bit sub-par with no windows and basic tables and cutlery. The burger I had was soggy and the general sentiment around the table was that it was 'not great'. The one exception being my 9 YO son who enjoyed his english breakfast. Overall would probably be fine if the price had been 1/3rd to 1/2 of what it was.

    Went for my husbands birthday while in town to love our daughter in to McGill. Restaurant is gorgeous! We had reservations and were waiting in the line to check in when an older white couple went around to the front of her line and got seated right before our eyes. The lady was trying to tell her husband that they had cut the line but the hostess told him it was no problem. A bit rude. The next person who came and seated us was nice enough. The wait staff were courteous but not friendly or enjoyable to have. A bit disappointing for a restaurant that is clearly setting the bar high for ambiance. The food was delicious. Beef Wellington was almost as good as at Hells Kitchen. Rib eye was cooked to perfection. Truffle gnocchi was good although truffle is always overpriced in my opinion. Dessert was disappointing. Both the Monochrome and Mont Blanc had A for presentation and C- for taste, sadly. When I made the reservation I had specified it was my husbands birthday. Zero acknowledgement or ask if there was a special occasion. I guess another reason I thought the wait staff was sub-par. All in all, food good, service was definitely not matching the food. Dessert… save the calories for the drinks. The whiskey sour (Bobey’s Sour) was excellent as was the espresso martini. Given the initial reception, lack of friendliness and waitstaff personality and no acknowledgement of my husbands birthday, don’t think we will be back or recommend to anyone.

    Honestly. As a British person living in NY I’ve had many many full English breakfasts over the years. This one by far exceeded my expectations. Food was fabulous. The waiter was friendly, attentive and charming. The dining area was beautiful and great vibe. Couldn’t have had a better experience.
