   Great food and excellent service. However all six of us agreed it was too loud...very difficult to communicate. Would you consider any noise dampening options? Hope to see you open for lunch soon!

   The food was awesome - love the build your own charcuterie style to give you a bit more control over your pick, especially if you’re with a picky eater. We also had the beef tartare and the pappardelle- both were extremely flavourful and unique takes on both dishes. Cocktails were great- quick to come and the servers were on top of keeping our glasses filled. It got quite loud as it filled up but very fun energy!

    No bread served.a bummer! I ordered a glass of wine and got the bottom of a vine bottle while not getting the 5 Oz I was paying for… I needed to tell them to top it up… Main dish was tasty but little amount of seafood that was mentioned with the pasta… ambiance however is nice

    First time to Bar Lupulus. Service and food were excellent. It was loud and pretty crowded - which for me was overwhelming as we are still very much in a pandemic - but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Just writing it here in case others are looking for somewhere quiet / spread out - this is probably not it.

    Fantastic evening and meal. Dessert was even better. Mango upside down cake - sublime. That may be the excellent Barbera speaking but we had a great evening nonetheless. Thx to Graham and his recommendations.

    We had been to Bar Lupulus before and knew it was going to be good. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent with one exception. One of the duck dishes had a particularly sinewy skin attached to the meat and was extremely difficult to cut through and chew. The meat was cooked very nicely and the taste was outstanding. When asked how everything was I mentioned it to the server and he offered to replace it, but I chose to stay with what I had as the flavours were so good, plus I don't have a problem with minor imperfections and didn't want to have everyone else waiting for me to get my replacement. I'll be back another day.

    Had a delightful night out. Pairings were spot on, prices were fair, presentation matched flavours and quality of food, staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Will be going back to explore the menu a little more in the future:)

    Food was okay, so the prices did not reflect the quality. $15-17 for a 5oz glass of wine that was of moderate calibre. Beer was so-so. Service was excellent, but it was so noisy, they had to yell at you. The music is on loud, so you cannot have a conversation. You end up leaving with a headache.

    We had an amazing dinner! Food was delicious and will come back for sure! Service was amazing. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. Pleasant experience:-) Only thing is that it was a bit dark in the corner where we were seated (closest to washroom) and had some burning oil smell.
