Bar Lupulus continues to be the best place in Ottawa (and one of the top places in the country, for that matter) to get rotating craft beer and amazing rotating selection of cocktails and wines. The food is not "pub food" it's high end and eclectic which makes the experience all the more amazing. The service is world class and the staff there have been there many years and know the menus inside out and upside down and never let us down with a suggestion. Over the last year they've started to host "tap takeovers" from top brewers during limited weekends and have fun with the menu offering more traditional style pub food (but elevated).

Pasta and lamb is great. main server is a gem. Cake is unique. Bit loud but it was Friday night. If they have hen ask for it tender! Good place for a drink and snack or a date night dinner

Excellent food. Informative server who was extremely helpful and she showed great inter personal skills. Wonderful patio, much more peaceful then the very noisy inside of the restaurant.
