   I had the tomato and smoked bacon sandwich, it was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. Also, it was large--I filled myself and took the remainder home. It was very pleasant sitting on the patio, the service was great, the food was excellent--altogether an excellent dining experience!

   This is our neighbourhood gem. The patio is warm and sunny, open to a beautiful edible boardwalk! The inside is artistic and charming. We love sharing our dishes and trying the latest cocktail creations.

   Five stars from start to finish! We had the best night at Bar Olo in Dundarave with friends—this place is such a gem. We were lucky to be served by the owner who was fun, relaxed, and professional all at once. He delivered a five-star dining experience without any of the stuffiness. The vibe? Spot on. Candlelit tables, white tablecloths, beautifully designed interior—cozy and elegant without being the slightest bit pretentious. It felt like a restaurant you'd find in downtown Vancouver but tucked away right in Dundarave. The food was exceptional. We started with the garlic prawns and frutti di mare—both fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The Caesar salad was perfect to share, and we followed it with the clam vongole pasta, the fennel sausage rigatoni pasta and the chicken parm. Everything was cooked to perfection. For dessert, the olive oil orange cake was the ideal sweet finish—light, citrusy, and just delicious. The cocktails were bang on, and the wine… probably the best chilled white I’ve had at a restaurant. Service was excellent, food was memorable, and the whole evening just felt effortless in the best way. We’ll absolutely be back!

   Well-made, well-presented authentic Italian cuisine. The wine list is equally good featuring high-quality value based wines. A lot of other restaurants could learn from this concise selection of wines.
