Tyler was a great server, friendly and knowledgeable. We were there for Happy Hour, which is the fabulous. All drinks were half price. I highly recommend the Ricotta Toast. But if your there for Happy Hour, the half price pizza is amazing.

I had an amazing birthday at Barbarella. The food was beyond fantastic, the service was amazing, the server was always timely and able to make great suggestions, a sign of someone who not only knows the menu, but understands it and peoples tastes. I would come back again and again.

Why aren’t more people talking about Barbarella? We went last night with another couple and here is what we collectively thought. Service was slow to start, but improved. Any of the servers will get your food when it is ready and bring it to you. 9/10 There are some intersting drinks and we were all happy with what we ordered. 10/10 Appies we shared: Tomato hazelnut dip with focaccia was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Hard 10/10 do not miss. Grilled halloumi was okay. 7/10 Calamari was delicious. Finished with heat - it takes some skills to pull this off. 10/10 Entrees: my husband and I shared a Caesar salad. Dressing is homemade and the flavour is a rich. 10/10 We also shared pasta with shrimp and crab. Their pasta is very al dante. I like it that way; my husband does not, but he went in for seconds and thirds. The sauce was light and very tasty. 10/10 My friends had plum salad. Very delicate flavour and not a big winner for me. 7/10 They also ordered truffle cream pasta and crispy chicken puttanesca, both big hits. Chicken was not greasy, sauce had some heat. My friend was literally scraping the polenta off the plate to finish it. The pasta with truffle cream and mushroom was *chef’s kiss*. 9/10 Dessert: the BEST tiramisu I have ever had (and I lived in Italy). I’d go back just for that. 10/10 The lemon tart is super zesty, so it’s perfect if you are a big fan of lemon. Caramel ones yogurt was like velvet. 10/10 Babarella makes all their pasta in-house and you can certainly tell. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Wife had the gluten free pasta which was really good. Fresh oysters were strictly marginal. Overall Barbarella is very good just not outstanding. I will go back and try the pizza next time

Such a great place for a fun night out. The crowd ranges from casual to chic, and everyone belongs. The service was great, the menu outstanding. We will definitely return to try out the patio, and also in the winter to sit by the fireplaces and enjoy the snow falling outside as we dine. Loved it

The calamari is a must, perfect amount to seasoning and crispiness. Ricotta crostini was tasty, nice light tasting whipped ricotta on top and a healthy amount to offset the crunchiness of the toasted crostini. Creste rigate was ok, we found it dry and chewy however the overall flavour was nice. Calabrese pizza was good. Beet salad was delicious. If you’re getting dessert the lemon tart is another must, it pairs wonderfully with the caramelized yogurt and offsets the tartness of the lemon, a bit more of the caramelized yogurt would’ve been perfect.

I had the endive salad which was scrumptious. The Burrata was also delicious but I thought the portion was small for the price- I prefer to be served the whole ball of Burrata and "pop" it myself, but it was just a small slice. The ravioli was very good. The service was attentive and unobtrusive.

Fantastic food, good price for quality. Very fantastic waiter. long waits between courses but the atmosphere is great so you don't notice/mind (so not the best if you want a fast dinner, but great for an actual meal with family or friends). Will be back often!

It's my second time at Barbarella - the first time was indoors, and I found the noise level loud, but the food very good. The 2nd time, I was out on the patio, in the sunshine, no problem with noise, and the food was again delicious

Very energetic atmosphere. Food is tasty but does not hold back on on anything with the cream and fat content although this adds to the flavour. Food is brought out quickly so eat it at the right temperature. Good service.

Firstly, it has this fab cool 70's Modern Italian style feel and it is welcoming and you just can't wait to get to your table. The star of the show is the food - every dish we had (and as a group, we had a lot) was exceptional. Delicious. I don't know how I can express this more except to say go. Finally the staff. They were fantastic. Friendly, attentive but not too much. Educated in the wine, in the food, asked questions. Fabulous. Go now.
