Barcode was a complete surprise. We went for an early dinner before The Burnt City, and while the ambiance had us a bit nervous as we sat down (its cavernous and sparse walls tinted blue by the game that was on, sort of reminding one of something out of Blade Runner), but the food. Good lord, the food. The lamb biryani, gorgeously seasoned with perfectly fluffy rice and a crispy, flaky top. The goat roghan josh, deeply flavorful and tender. The kid goat — the absolute standout in a banquet of excellence — with bones and all was insanely succulent and perfectly spiced. I understand the word “fragrant” now. And the lamb momos—it was cold and wet outside, and what better way to fight off the chilly London night than with these little umami bombs? Juicy, spiced, and addictive. What a little treasure this place is. I can’t wait to return.

Good selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The food was great and the menu had some different meals from the norm. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go again next time we are in the area.
