Burger and drink were both good. I think a bit expensive, but good. It took about 10 minutes to get noticed in the corner, but then the service was fine.

Service was a bit slow and no cutlery was brought. Food brought out slowly.

Great options for vegans, however, too much salt and oil used to prepare burgers. Left with a stomach ache.

Service is not great, but I’ve had worse. The food is average- definitely can get a better burger elsewhere unless you’re coming here for the vegan menu. I was impressed with how extensive their vegan options were and the items i’ve had from it were quite good.

We were a party of six. We were seated before our reservation time, which was great, but that’s where the pleasantness ended. It took 20 minutes before anyone brought us menus and water, and another 20 before our waiter came to take our order.

The waiter was scribbling on a pad a paper while the rest of the servers appeared to be using tablets. Upon leaving our table we didn’t see anyone for another 30 minutes when the person arrived with two of the drinks for the table and an order of fries and rings and nothing else.

20 minutes later, our order arrived. The burgers were almost what we ordered, but not a single one of them was cooked as requested. The medium rares came out well done and the medium came out rare. The caesars salad wasn’t a Caesar at all, but undressed ice burg lettuce with some grape tomatoes.

We flagged a person down because we were still waiting for 2 shakes and a sangria. We pointed out the salad and it was taken away and then brought back with a small container of balsamic vinaigrette on the plate. Once again, not a Caesar.

20 minutes later, we were done with our burgers and hoping for the arrival of the shakes and sangria when they showed up. The shakes were drank and the sangria was gone while we waited for someone to acknowledge us for our check. I finally had to flag someone down, who turned out to be the manager, to get our checks to the table.

We gave him our tale of woe, and let him know we had tweeted a fictional version of the evening. He gave us each a discount, which was appreciated, but what we expected to be a 1.5 hour long (maximum) experience turned into a three hour tour where we were ignored and left to our own devices for far too long to make any of the folks in the party ever want to return.

If I could have given 0 stars for some of the items above, I would have.

Lots of vegan options for our many vegan offspring. Extremely cute concept, good service, and the food was excellent.

We have visited BareBurger in NY (at two different locations in NY) before. This visit to the BareBurger in Washington DC, has been a disappointment. The orden was mistake, the food was burned, and the presentation was not desirable to eat. Overall the food did not look or tasted like the one we have eaten in NY. The bathroom was so nasty, a highway rest stop bathroom is cleaner. If this would have been my first experience I would never eat there again at DC location.

I went to Bareburger at the suggestion of a friend. Sadly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. I made the reservation for a special occasion to celebrate a long week and was treated with abysmal service. We were sat in the back of the restaurant, where we waited for 10 minutes for a server. After 12 minutes we decided to move to the bar to get a face to face interaction with a member of the staff, however, it was even another 10 minutes of waiting for the bartender to even acknowledge our existence. 5 minutes after that I finally flagged down the bartender, who was reluctant to take my order. After another 13 minutes, we finally received our order waffle fries and subsequent burger and sandwich 3 minutes after that.

Since the service was a joke, I was pleased to see the restaurant continue with the joking manner and literally present rubber chicken that could not be cut in in half, not because of texture, but because we didn’t even have silverware until I got up to acquire it myself.

My suggestion would be to focus on the customers within the restaurant or increase the staff who were unfortunately inundated by pick-up/delivery requests.
