It's difficult to say what is most appealing about the Barking Frog - the food, the wine, the atmosphere. All of the above earned this casual bistro featuring country fresh Northwest cuisine rave reviews. Honors have included "Restaurant of the Year", "Most Innovative Wine List" and "Wine Grand Award" awards, presented by the Washington Wine Commission. Delectable dishes entice guests to linger in the light-filled dining room or to gather around the fireplace. While in the summer, lunch and dinner are served in the courtyard.

Visit our sister restaurant, Fireside Lounge, take a more relaxed approach to you day with friends and fellow guests. Serving seasonal cocktails and casual bites. Daily happy hour from 3-5:30pm. Live music during the week.

    Overall great, only minor thing was waiter forgot the add on scallops with the tenderloin Wellington. Great food and experience every time we dine in.

    Food was excellent. Compared to other fine dining restaurants, the price is not as high and the portions are perfect. Everything is seasonal/local so the menu changes up. Lots of drink options. Our server, Charlie, was attentive and helpful with answering our questions about the menu. Will be returning once again on our next special occasion!

    The food is usually mediocre but we visit Barking Frog for the ambiance and service. This time the service was non-existent to the point where we needed the manager to get involved to we could order and even pay our bill at the end. After being seated, we waited about 20 minutes for our waiter to arrive and take our drink orders. We never saw him again for the entire evening and it was a battle to get someone to take our orders, get our food and finally even pay our bill. Two words to sum up our thoughts: Never Again.

    Ordered beef Wellington and cut steak and both with very salty sauce, even for my husband that usually add salt to any dish

    We had a fantastic dinner before a concert. Our server was amazing. He asked if we were going to the show and then recommended menu items That would easily arrive in time for us to make it to the show. He was great with our friend who is celiac. He helped her pick out items that were gluten-free. Also, the gluten-free bread basket is a refreshing option and delicious! Our celiac diner was so excited as she never gets bread at dinners.

    The service and atmosphere is exemplary. The food was very good, but some dishes were not very flavorful Yet the presentation was skillful. Recommend for a special event! Priced reasonably.

    Exceeded my expectations. The food was OUTSTANDING. The Diver Scallops were cooked to perfection and the Strawberry Pistachio Pavlova was an excellent finish. Also have to add one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. Parking can be challenging but they have valet.
