   Baro brings the heat—literally and figuratively. The Latin-inspired dishes are packed with bold, playful flavours (we ordered the ribeye, the corn sides, and the asparagus), and the cocktails are a vibe on their own—refreshing for the summer. The space is trendy and vibrant, but the energy leans loud—great for a night out, less ideal if you’re trying to have a deep convo. Service? Fine, but nothing to write home about. Come for the food and stay for the fun—just maybe don’t bring your quiet friend.

   The food was really disappointing,none of the items we ordered were tasty or worth the price. Despite the restaurant being completely empty with all tables available, we were only offered two options: a bar-height table in a poor location or a regular table directly in front of the washroom. I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind that. Overall, our experience was awful and we won’t be returning

   Loved the place, environment, music!! Great DJ, congrats! The asparagus salad was amazing! Very nice and professional waitress! The only thing that I didn't like was the time waiting for the drinks...the salad came before the cocktails, and afterwards, I asked a glass of wine and took a while to be server.

   Our party of 6 mostly loved their meals. My husband had Langosta and was extremely glad he did. One friend ordered one of the sweet meals and liked it a lot. Another friend who requires gluten free, ordered the power bowl and enjoyed every bite. Two of us ordered Breakfast Cubano. It was mostly wonderful except a very salty spread on the top bun that I mostly scraped off. I also ordered a side salad that was not really edible because it was far too salty. If you order the side salad, I strongly recommend you ask for the dressing on the side and taste it before you use it. My husband ordered orange juice and was hoping for fresh squeezed but didn't get it. I had a Paloma drink that would have been much better with more lime juice. My gluten-free friend ordered a bottomless mimosa and happily enjoyed 5 of them.

   Beautiful spot tucked deep in off Adelaide. We enjoyed our fun cocktails and all 5 of the Happy hour small plates. The food was fresh and delicious! Servers were lovely and we really enjoyed our time!

   Service wasn’t great. It felt like we were forgotten. Our server also forgot to input one of our dishes and they didn’t come back to check in. Left the restaurant still hungry.

   The food was absolutely great, we really enjoyed our meal! However, the seating situation was not ideal. We were placed at the very back near the kitchen and bathroom area, in an L-shaped seating arrangement. My husband sat on the bench, and I was in a chair on the end, but unfortunately, this made things quite cramped. I felt very uncomfortable moving since my chair could easily hit the person behind me I also locked in a couple who were sitting on the benh My chair was very close to the chair behind me, almost touching, and I felt uncomfortable moving since I didn’t want to bump the person sitting there. On top of that, the server had trouble reaching the couple seated on the bench next to us, she had to stretch over us to clear dishes and take their order, which felt awkward for everyone involved. It really wasn’t a comfortable setup for two separate parties. That L-shaped area might work better for a larger group dining together, where everyone is interacting. Just something to consider for the future!

    Service was excellent, accommodating, even when we were 15 minutes late, place was fairly loud on a Saturday night, so if you are tryna take a first date their, you may have to use your big boy voice. Overall would definitely go again.
