    It was the worst meal I have ever had. The service was great and a manager gave us a 20.00 coupon and took the two meals off the bill. The ribs were burnt and dry and looked more like spare ribs maybe 1.5 to 2 inches wide. The chicken tenders were clumps of batter that were disgusting with an after taste of Thyme. The spinach artichoke dip was an oily mess. What has me so upset is it was a special occasion my husband turned 65. It ruined his special day and mine too. I would never go back, even if the food was free!

    Food was excellent. Only issue if i was to be picky is the prime rib had alot gristle on it, and the steak knifes where very dull. This is one of my favorite places to go, will be returning.

    One of the best red skin Garlic mashed potato’s and filet I have ever had. Waiter was also excellent

    We were pretty disappointed with our meal but our server certainly made up for it. She was awesome. I don’t think I’d go back unfortunately though. We ordered starters and they only had enough for one. Our beef was undercooked and considering what we paid for our mains it was a little surprising to have mostly Lima beans with 2 slivers of red pepper as our “mixed veggie” side. Overall the flavours were good but nothing was cooked properly, small portions and overpriced.

    Food was cold. Steaks were cooked to the correct degree but overall everyone's food wasn't even close to being hot. The only hot item were the mushrooms ordered as a side dish.

    I will not be visiting Baton Rouge - Halifax again. The kids menu had chicken tenders with BBQ sauce. The chicken tenders were gross! They were mostly batter that tasted so greasy. The BBQ sauce did not taste good at all. This was NOT something I can see many kids being interested in eating. It was a waste of $24 for two kids. My husband and I had the club sandwich. It was good, but it's difficult to mess that up. The only thing with the club was the bread was rather hard to chew! I would not recommend this restaurant.
