   One thing to note is that they tend to under cook the steaks. As long as you know this going in, you should be fine. With the Ribeye steak costing almost 60 bucks, I expect it to be cooked correctly. To top off the blue rare steak, the mashed potatoes came in a bowl and were cold. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The music was also quite loud so we had to strain to hear one another and also had to use flashlights to light up the menus, it was so dark. Will not be returning.

   Do you when you go to a restaurant where you want to try each one of the items in the Menu? That’s Baton Rouge. A GREAT SHOUTOUT to the Menu with PICTURES OF ALL dishes! This is simply AMAZING! Highly recommended

   The restaurant is lovely, it was very quite during dinner time although it was a Monday. The service was excellent, the restaurant/bar manager was super friendly. The food was not as good as expected, the portions were a bit small considering the price. We had a couple cocktails, the drinks were good.

   We have always gone to baton rouge and never had a complaint.. This time was the only time I would have to say my steak wasn't as good as it usually is but that's about it.. The service is always great and the food is normally perfect

   Food was outstanding! The waitress could have been more attentive, we were only one of two tables being occupied, she must have known the other table as they had a conversation going. But, the food was amazing as always!

    2 out of 3 meals were great, my dad who's a big fan of BR was very disappointed in his ribs, barely any meat on them, has he said your boxed one at the grocery store are better.

    Food was just alright. Was expecting more for what you're paying. The steak was delicious but portion size of fries is tiny and the vegetables thrown on the plate seemed like it was an after thought and were kind of cold and hard. Literally had 2 small string beans, 2 pieces of cauliflower and 2 chunks of carrot tossed messily on the plate. Atmosphere in the restaurant seemed kind of dark and dingy and just didn't feel welcoming. Wasn't impressed with the dining experience overall.

    Very disappointed, felt like we were in McDonalds drinking wine. Don't know why I stated that this was a special occasion - especially being seated on a very quiet Friday opposite the station for the staff to get plates and pop for customers.

    When I reserved my time online it didn’t ask if I wanted the dinning area or the bar nor was I asked . I was there alone with my 12 yr old son and would have preferred the quiet dinning area instead of the very back of the bar. Also my stuff mushrooms caps bad the cheese melted on top but they were not cooked at all.

    I don’t know what happened but the night we dined there the drinks took forever to get to our table of 9 and the food was awful. One person ordered an appetizer as her only food item and she received it after we had all gotten and started eating our meals. The steaks were very undercooked, the hamburgers were not flavourful, the half rack of ribs was extremely tiny, and one person had a garlic allergy and was told that every item on the menu had garlic in it. That person ended up with some flavourless steamed vegetables, a plain baked potato and what looked like plain boiled chicken pieces. It was one of the worst meals any of us had ever had. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

    Food was good but too pricey for what we did receive. The two items my fiancés and I ordered were good .. but not great. The pricing reflected a competition area of Cut , Primal , or Moxis and all are way above in terms of delivered product. Staff was phenomenal and deserve big props for being happy , polite , very efficient and made dropping the amount of money tolerable. Thank you for a good evening

    Baton rouge is our go to when we go to halifax.. always the best food the best service and always just a great resteraunt.. We always get the prime rib and it's delicious with the garlic potatoes

    $18.00 for 6 little steak bites (They came after the meal because they forgot them) $7.00 for Sauteed onions. The prime rib was very good, but the French Fries were very plain, and cold. Almost $150.00 for 2 people and that was without alcohol.

    Our server Lindsay was exceptional. She was able to answer all of our questions regarding the food/drink menu and gave us some great suggestions which we are sure will be newfound favourite choices for us. The food was delicious and our seating was perfect for our group.

    The steak portion was little. If I hadn’t of gotten an appetizer I’d probably still be hungry. Had about 3 veggies on my plate and the side salad was about 5 bites. Service was good though very nice waitress.

    We were a party of 8. Ribs, chicken tenders, french onion soup, potato soup, steaks, best calamari ever, beef bites and a burger. Everything was delicious beyond our expectations. Server Alishia was fantastic. All of us were first time visitors. We will be back.

    Excellent, friendly, funny servicer(Gen) in the bar side. She made out evening so fun. Food was incredible! Sante Fe Chicken was amazing!!! Beef bites, YUM! Cant wait to go back
